Take in my wife's car here for occasional exterior/interior clean. If you come early morning, not much traffic in line. Practical for those looking for a quick in and out experience. Have passed by the location during the day. Gets packed -doubt you'll get your car within 10/15min, as you would early AM. They can top off your gas as you enter, which is cool/different. I haven't used myself and haven't paid attention to the prices but believe it's Chevron, safe to assume same price? Two-intake lane model, clearly labeled as you enter; full service (left) and exterior wash only (right). A check-in booth with attendant, sometimes absent staff. If you've been there in the past, you know the drill but if you haven't and booth is unattended maybe you'll figure it out but likely you will proceed further in, to the vacuums. Be ware to stop at the booth and wait to be checked in. Staff are mediocre, greet and ask about your needs for the visit. Management seem to push the monthly-pass subscription and even offer a complimentary $110 value wax-service for folks signing up (at least they did on the day of my visit) something-something, changes to cancelation terms (went over my head, I'm just here for a rinse and vacuum, don't complicate things for me, coffee hasn't kicked in yet, lol) but I understand the loyalty programs and importance for business sustainability. If there was one recommendation I would like to see as a consumer, simplify the menu. None of us actually care to read the details, just highlight the key differences and rate them by popularity; most popular/economy/prestige idk you figure out what you want to call them. Leave the rest to the check-in staff "specials" and "extra care" as cross-sell opportunities. More emphasis on expectations! Once again, for those who frequent, we know the drill, for new comers will be confusing! A simple: "Have you been here before?" (Wasn't asked) should trigger both; I have to give this person a scoop on what to do (where to go, how to settle bill and show proof of payment) and I have an opportunity to engage with them on loyalty programs for awareness. Once you get your ticket and pull forward to the vacuums area -same thing, please direct people or explore painting a directional path that will lead to the cashier to make it fool-proof? Just an idea, I'm not here to tell you how to run your business but know that it is not easy to self-navigate without direction. Once you find yourself inside, a snake path is upon you with various trinkets you can pickup before a narrow walk path with window view inside the wash area itself and if you wait, you can watch your car getting its rinse. In same narrow path, they have refrigerated refreshments and two bathrooms. As you make your way through to the front of the store, more items are displayed for purchase along with a cashier window. Usually a young adult managing the kiosk. Quick hello and if I want to leave a tip.. you get your ticket and stamp indicators that a tip was paid. This would probably be the more ideal place to structure a customer engagement point to further explore loyalty benefits or a chit chat to pass the wait time, depending on the traffic. Definitely would want someone with upbeat personality and inter-personal skills to dive return business and cross-sell opportunities. Overall, car gets washed, you pay and get on with your day. I'm not picky for imperfections and most certainly will NOT pull the linemen for additional wipe down/spray. Experience factor; I see a lot of opportunity but not my place to implement. I am intensely disappointed with my experience here yesterday. The car wash deeply scratched the glass on my rear window. I didn't notice until after I got home. Also, they did not wash the bird poop off the windshield. It was not scrubbed at all, just rinsed. I guess I'm glad they didn't scratch the windshield, too. Honest work, but the business model is a SCAM. Two things to watch out for: 1. Complimentary exterior car wash passes do expire and are enforced 2. When you email to cancel membership, they cancel asap and don't extend for remainder of month. (Ie. membership renewed on 1st and paid $19.99. If I email to cancel membership on the 10th, the membership ends on the 10th, even if the expected end date is explicitly mentioned) Tldr; Took my wife's car to Lark location since I was in the area. She had cancelled the monthly subscription but still had these complimentary passes from the initial sign up. The lady at front gate said the pass was EXPIRED. She scanned the barcode on the dash acknowledging the prior membership and said I can renew for $1 the first month, but no complimentary yellow passes. She handed me an orange placard written "$1 Fast Pass" that I placed on my dashboard and allowed me to proceed without paying instructing me to wait at the end for someone to process my renewal (not smart on them). After, I'm greeted by the manager Pablo based on his white uniform. I roll down the window, he takes the placard, scans the barcode on the dash. He's standing there looking at his tablet and I ask how his day's going. No response. A minute goes by and he tells me to wait longer, goes back inside, comes back out saying I'm not eligible for the $1 first month, contradicting the words and actions of the lady at the front said. Here's how the conversation roughly went down: "sir, the lady at the front said $1..." no response. "how much are you asking me to pay?" "$19.99 for the month" "okay...how much for one time wash?" "$22..." "but the lady at the front said $1 and handed me that card..." no response. I hand him my card. "I'll pay for the $19.99." Returns card. He leaves. I leave. Was in a good mood. Still am in a good mood. I was having a pretty good day, but now it's a slightly less good day. I'm always under the assumption people aren't stupid; this wasn't Pablo's first rodeo. That lady at the front was a future Pablo in training, so sad. Classic Car Wash knows what they're doing which is why they're still in business. It's a shame because the hardwork and dedication of the employees working the floor are undeniable and it's trademark how they wave at the end every time without fail. Even as I was waiting to get scammed, one of them continued drying the backside of my car. I'd tip that man $20 alone for that attention to detail. But I don't like being disrespected by being told one thing by someone and then being told another thing by someone else after the service is done and subsequently ignored. The lack of accountability at the management level is my confirmation that their membership system is deceptive by design. I know this business responsive and there's a customer support line, but they'll be dealing with my credit card company. Anyways, here's the business model for those interested: 1. ALWAYS promote the membership plan - "Did you want to sign up for our membership plan today? No? Did you know that for a limited time we're offering [insert offer]" - Their website doesn't even list prices for one-time washes. 2. Hand out complimentary car wash passes like candy - Previous years, I was told they don't expire. This year my wife didn't recall them mentioning an expiration - My wife signed up May 30, the expiration (pictured) is April 27 - Who washes their car 3/6+ times in a month? 3. Customers hand out these passes to family and friends 4. I've been going to Classic Carwash for so many years, have had their fast lane pass, have done detailed but 2 weeks ago, I came in for a full service, I used my free monthly wash, and added detailing to my back seat, car goes in, as I'm in the reception desk about to pay, I see my car coming out with a dent, which obviously did not have when I came in, I walked out asked them to please stop, they did and as they proceed to speak in Spanish, the employee said to the other "it came in like that", which I responded to in Spanish that it didn't, my car is brand new, have had it for less than 2 months. Kept talking in Spanish to them, asked them to see the security cameras, to what they did show me 1 footage, which it shows it had the damage, when I told him I know that my car didn't have this, I don't know which is this camera you're showing me is, can I see other footage, he was very rude, he showed me the footage from the entry where you can see my car didn't have the dent on the door, he still argued with me, made me fill up a claim, it's been two weeks and I haven't heard from them, I submitted a claim with my insurance and they are not responding and are disputing my claim. We have been worked with this business for many years. I understand their job is sales and employees are following instruction. However, over the years their sales pitch has become more aggressive to a point where I don't end up going. I know they have a job to do, I listen and tell them I am not interested, had a membership for many years, cancelled it last year and no longer need it. Note to self: Even if you're in a one way line and feel stuck between cars at a car wash (or any other similar scenario) - if you get a bad vibe, don't feel trapped- just put it on them to move cars or do whatever they need to do to get you out. I had a few scratches on my car when I took my car to the Classic Car Wash in Campbell. i asked to have them painted. The detail manager --Rafael--was called and said he had people to do the work right away and it would take about 2 hours. He also asked me if I wanted the scratches removed from my the tire rims. In slightly less than 2 hours the people in the detail department were finished. I can no longer see the scratches nor can I figure out exactly where they were. The rims look great. It's because they first person that greets you is a salesman and they will try their hardest to make you select a bigger more expensive package. Even after you select a bigger package they will still do a mediocre job, my recommendation is go for the cheapest because anyways you will end up the same as the most expensive. I first shared my experience on September 16, 2025, and received a courteous reply from Clarissa H. (Business Owner), asking me to email details so they could resolve the issue. I followed up as requested, sending an initial email and another a few weeks later, but never received a reply. It's now early November, and despite several attempts to reach Clarissa by phone, I've been unable to speak with her directly. The lack of follow-through has been disappointing, especially after such a professional initial response. I still believe that a business should take responsibility and repair or replace any damage they cause -- maybe I'm just old-fashioned that way -- but that's how trust and customer loyalty are built. I went there yesterday to get my Car detailed. The salesman was trying to get me for the most expensive top package. I just wanted the basic, but he tried hard and to rest assured to me that the car will be in better if I chose the clay and wax package. However, I was very disappointed. The job was done terrible. I go because it's convenient, not because they do a great job. Everyone there is super nice, very friendly. But really, the cleaning they do is mediocre at best. We recently took my daughter's car in for a full detail ($400 service). There was still dirt around the license plate and the plate itself was filthy. How can they have waxed the car and not cleaned that area at all??? I somewhat suspect they don't do all that they say they do. I usually hang out to watch what's being done, but in this instance they were super busy and it was going to be several hours so I didn't stick around. They certainly cut corners, but I really don't even think I got the whole service I paid for. I really want to rate them higher, but I've never left thinking they did as good a job as they could. One thing that really stood out, they were extremely quick and was very surprised how fast my vehicle was done from START to FINISH. Looking at it quickly before I made my way back home to Santa Cruz I didn't notice anything off putting. Till I got home and saw the driver door still had my footmarks from pushing my driver side door open and the back of my vehicle still had residue on it. Other than that I would have given five stars. Even though I reside in Santa Cruz and because a member that day, I'll give it a try and spend the time to drive to Los Gatos to get my car washed instead of taking it locally in Santa Cruz. People washing your car, drying your car, and doing all the extras you paid for deserve a tip for working hard and fast. I make sure to show that they are valued and I don't mean by giving them a $1 or $2 or even $3. In my opinion the is flat out rude - what are you going to spend with that amount of a tip on? If you tip well, they will remember your car and you. Food for thought. P.S. I always leave a $10 tip and after awhile they sure remember that car and the person who owns it. Now with the drought restrictions prohibiting washing your own car (but allowing commercial facilities that recycle the water), if you want a clean car you need to have it professionally done with recycled water. Classic Car Wash has several locations. I use the one on Lark Avenue in Los Gatos. They have a "monthly-pass" unlimited plan for exterior washes for $24.99/month for as many washes as you want. The first two months are only $12.99/month. This is a deal considering that they charge $18 for a one-time exterior wash. It pays for itself if you only wash your car twice a month. To buy the monthly pass, you just tell the person at the entrance and they put a special card on your dashboard. After you go through the wash, you wait a bit for the manager, who takes your credit card, fills out some paperwork, and then puts a bar code on your windshield. After that, you just pull up in the exterior wash lane, the bar code is scanned, and you drive into the wash. After they do some hand drying, you drive off. It only takes a few minutes. read more

It sounded interesting, when I paid at the cashier, I realized they were tricking me into a monthly subscription. I immediately canceled it. They refunded the "deal" service fee. Last week, I found out on my bank statement that they had secretly enrolled my credit card for their membership and charged December and January subscription fees! When I called them, those people I had dealt with, they had no shame no sorry no regrets, just simply tried to brush it off! I demanded my refund and a cancellation confirmed email. Not happy with my experience here today. Paid $50 for interior and exterior wash and the pressure to be upsold started from the moment I pulled up. The "value" was mentioned 4 or 5 times while I kept saying I was mostly there for the interior vacuuming and live off a dirt road so the exterior is going to be dirty regardless. The first person at least was pleasant, and all of the people washing and vacuuming were working hard. My main complaint comes from what I saw happening ONLY to females and then to me. The same person, looked like a supervisor, would call a woman over to the car before it was finished and ask her to "look at the paint job" and what bad shape it was in. I heard him mention the "clay bomb" multiple times before he got to me. He acts like there is something really wrong with the car and that you're not taking care of it unless you purchase the upsell. Sure enough, he calls me over to my vehicle acting like there is a problem. He gives me the whole paint song & dance about how critical it is for my car's value. I politely said I wasn't interested and that the car wash and vacuuming was a treat for me, not something I typically can afford. He keeps going and tries to guilt me into buying it. I said "no," more firmly this time. He then starts telling me to "check my oil and take care of regular maintenance". What does that have to do with a $50 car wash? He did not say this to a single man in the entire 30 minutes I was waiting. He *only* does it to women. It left me with a bad taste in my mouth and frustrated that the sexism I experience getting my oil changed or tires replaced is now happening at the car wash. Please do better. I don't need a mansplaining lecture when I'm there to wash my car. It is borderline harassment sales tactics and it should not be tolerated. I'll be driving out of my way just to avoid this place in the future and suggest other women do the same. On top of that, the interior was just sub par. They didn't even touch the steering wheel and the side panels were still not clean. They did a quick wipe at best. I used to come here as a little kid with my grandmother and loved it. Starting getting my own car washed here as a teenager for a very reasonable price. I'm not sure what happened here: it now costs $140 for a full interior/exterior cleaning? And they don't offer that in one package. A car wash used to include interior dressing, tires, the whole nine yards. Now it's presented as some exclusive service. And a full detail? Ready to hand over your first born???? I came and got my truck washed this afternoon during lunch. The salesmen was nice, but very pushy. After turning down the car care package once he went to put in my ticket and came back and continued to try and sell me on the package.  I gave in an agreed to sign up.  I've had a very poor 1st experience. I paid $45 + $5 dollar tip and the Bronco looks terrible. Still mud all under the fender flares, spots clearly not wiped down at all, and the windscreen is still covered in so much gunk. And there was so much tire shine put on my tires that it flug it all over the rest of the car. It's a mess! I expected so much more from a $50 car wash. I know I'm not alone on my complaints, but I need to bring it to someone's attention.  I definitely don't plan to keep my membership if this is the quality of washes I am going to get for my money. read more

I pay a monthly fee to have unlimited car washes, one inside outside wash and the rest outside car wash. I usually wash my car once a month or so. I went to Lark Avenue Classic Car wash yesterday December 29th mid day. They were a bit busy but not too busy to wash the bird poop off my 4x4. The car washes was very half ass wash and the "detailers" did a horrible job inside and outside. My Truck is still dirty and inside windows very streaky and rims of windows filthy. The "detailers" do not take the time to CLEAN the vehicle. Very very disappointing for the price you pay. I will wax the own truck but when I want a CAR WASH I WANT A CLEAN CAR afterwards. The outside of my car still had dirt and streaks, and the inside was barely touched. crumbs on the seats, dust on the dashboard, and the mats weren't even vacuumed properly. The staff was very friendly and the sales reps were nice with lots of helpful information. The on-site shop has tons of trinkets. I bought of bunch of little gift basket items and the associate was kind and helpful. Spent about $75 on random stuff. I tipped $10 when I paid for the car wash service (interior and exterior); and also signed up for a monthly subscription at roughly $55/month. Then, when my car was ready, I realized that I definitely will not be coming back to this carwash. I felt a little uncomfortable with the way some of the employees approached me, but that was fine. This was without a doubt, the worst car wash I've had to date. There was a dirty, wet rag left hanging on my driver side mirror and I had to pick it up and hand it the employees. The vacuum job showed a major lack of effort. Debris and dirt on the mats and I don't think they even lifted the mats at all.
