I got my front windshield tinted here, I chose 3M Crystalline 70% tint. The quality of work was fantastic! It's was very well done and the team had great attention to details. I had gotten tinting done for my front windshield for 2 other cars at different locations and chose Llumar Air 80 nano ceramic tint. This time I wanted to go with 3M and Quality Auto Glass came up as a Pro Dealer. This is my first time with crystalline tint. Compared to nano ceramic, I don't see a slight rainbow hue on the windshield. Crystalline costs more than nano ceramic but for the windshield it is the best option as it stops a lot of heat and reduces glare from the sun. read more

Finally decided to do something about the blistering 3M tint on the drivers side window of my car. Found 3M warranty card that states blistering is covered under warranty for replacement. The original applicator (National Glass Tinting) tinted my entire car but did not include the driver and passenger side tint job on the receipt since they did not want liability of applying tint darker than the legal limit. Discovered they are no longer in business. Also found receipt showing that the rear windshield 3M tint was reapplied by Quality Auto Glass & Tint. This was a warranty claim done years ago due to blistering in the rear windshield tint. Called Quality Auto Glass & Tint on Wednesday to ask for a quote on replacing the drivers side tint. Gentleman on the phone said $25 to remove tint and $125 for applying new tint and confirmed a 3M warranty claim could not be applied on the driver's side tint since it was not on the receipt. Called on Thursday to make a Saturday appointment to remove driver's side 3M tint and replace with the same tint and asked for pricing again. Lady on the phone said $20 to remove tint and $90 - $100 to apply new tint depending on tint type. Washed the car in preparation for the appointment and noticed the 3M tint on the rear windshield had a popped blister. Called on Friday to check to see if they would have time to do both the driver's side and rear windshield and offered to reschedule my appointment to another date if they did not have time. Receptionist confirmed they would have time to do both and they would take a look at the rear windshield tint (presumably to see if it's covered under warranty). Spent two hours the morning of my appointment removing the drivers side tint and cleaning the glass. Removed the door paneling and tweeter speakers to scrape the tint and clean the glass beyond the panel seam. Showed up promptly at my appointment time on Saturday. Mike and another man were working on a car at the time. Mike saw me and directed me into the office and had me wait. There were no other customers or staff at the shop. When Mike walked into the office, he apologized for the wait and asked how he could help. I told him Im here for my appointment for a drivers side tint application and that I had already removed my drivers side tint. I also stated that Im here for a rear windshield tint removal and application as a 3M warranty claim due to a popped blister. Mike said he will not have time to do the rear windshield. Due to the discrepancy of what I was told by the receptionist he called her to check what was said on Friday and walked over to inspect my car. Came back and said the receptionist did not confirm they would have time for the rear windshield and that the blister was not a blister. I gave him a piece of my mind and walked out. UPDATE (Response to Mike): "Mike, I appreciate your response. However, a more accurate assessment than your 20 years of experience would be my first hand account of the blister forming just 1-2 years after having gotten the tint done at Quality Auto Glass & Tint. I was not going to make a trip and have my car in the shop for a small blister like that so I brushed it off and waited until I needed other tint work done. That time came on Saturday, but you refused to honor the warranty. Although I stated I discovered a "popped blister" it does not mean I was not aware of the defect in its unpopped state for years. I've also attached a screen shot of the text reminder I received. It does not show any indication of the jobs scheduled. To summarize, your business has lied about (1) the pricing, (2) scheduling the appointment with enough time to tint the driver's side window AND rear windshield and then double downed on that lie while I was in your office and then now triple downed on that lie in your response to my review, (3) the text message reminder does NOT include job scheduled, and (4) the story time fantasy you're playing out in your head about my rear windshield is also a lie." read more

My car's windshield was cracked by a rock during driving on a free way. I found QAG&T on the insurance list and called them right away. Catherine took a look at the damage, worked with my insurance and get it replaced very fast. The workmanship was perfect but the cowls were cracking off during the works due to the old age of the car. First of all, I have no complaints about the quality of the tinting itself. The work looks good. My main issue is the general carelessness in how my car was handled. When I arrived to pick it up, I found the hood open and charger cables connected to the battery. Apparently, they left the doors open for an extended period and did not know how to properly disable the warning beeps in a modern vehicle. Instead of addressing it correctly (by turning off accessory mode), they allowed the battery to drain completely. Even more concerning, they pried off a piece of plastic trim from the driver's side door handle--presumably trying to figure out how to stop the beeping. That trim piece was left sitting on the floor mat. I'm glad I noticed it and was able to identify where it had been pulled from. To make matters worse, they also nicked the windshield from the outside with a tool. The damage is small and near the edge, but considering this is a brand-new car and I paid over $1,000 for the job, it's understandably upsetting. Because of this experience, I will be looking elsewhere for my next vehicle. read more
