I live in the Atlanta metro area, and to get my vehicle repaired in a reasonable amount of time due to backlogs, I decided to take my car to Classic Collision Augusta (5-star rated), right next door to the Benz dealership. Classic Collision of Augusta is not the place. They repaired my Mercedes SL400 and made a complete mess of the job. On top of that, when I went to pick my vehicle up, it was dirty with overspray, and the bumpers and fenders were not fitting together properly (what I call dog ears). I left my car for another extended period for them to correct the problem, but when I got the car home two weeks later, the paint was horrible. You could see where they sanded the car, it had a mesh pattern underneath the clear coat where you could see where they sanded the car, and the clear coat had dubree in it that was not buffed out. The clear coat had an overall lemon-peel appearance and was a horrible job. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR VEHICLE!!!! THEIR RATING SHOULD NOT BE 4.5, AND THEY DO NOT RETURN CALLS FROM THE GM DOWN. THEIR RATING IS MISLEADING, AND THEIR WORK IS SUBSTANDARD. This is not what I am accustomed to from this company. read more

My car went into Classic COLLISION BODY SHOP to fix my roof and windshield. It's been in there for 1 1/2 months. I just got it back. They have given it back fixed but they damaged it in other ways. They scuffed up my seats and dash and just all over the inside of my car. They damaged my passenger seat. Stained up the inside with grease spots and black fingerprints. I tried to get them to fix it and they did the bare minimum to clean it and it still looks a mess. I wish I never took it there. I worked with Adam. He told me constantly my car would be ready tomorrow and tomorrow just never came and I had to keep calling because they didn't have enough respect to keep me up to date until the last 3 days when I complained in a survey. Im disappointed. I'll add this as well that when I got my car back after 1 1/2 months my rear view and side mirrors were all moved to a different view. Makes me feel uneasy about that. Like did they use my car outside the shop? I say this because there are scuff marks in my trunk area I can't explain and my boxes I use for groceries when going to sams club we're not there anymore. They threw them away. I take pride in my belongings because I don't have a lot of money so I take care of everything I have and to get it back in such a condition hurts my heart. Be careful who you take your vehicle to and take pictures of the inside and outside when you drop it off because you just might not get it back the way you left it. read more

Only reason they get 1 star is because they don't offer 1/2 stars. My vehicle goes in on the 6th of March with repair date completion date of April 7!! ( Hell I don't know why). Date changes to the 12th then 19th now 21st. If I had know this, I would have fixed it myself. Never again!! read more

I've used the classic collision in Roswell before so when I got into an accident shortly after moving to Augusta and was asked where I'd like my car towed to, I chose them again after recognizing the name on my google search. While the employees have been professional every time I've called, they were very VERY slow on my repairs. They had my car for 6 weeks!! I know insurance and parts and things came into play but they originally told me 7-10 days and then every time I called it was "maybe tomorrow." read more

Was told my car was towed there and have been trying to get an answer out of them for almost a month. Either they don't answer my calls or they tell me they will call right back. It's even gotten to the point where I have to use someone else's phone to call because they ignore mine, and what do ya know, they answer on the first ring when it's not my number popping up. They kept blowing me and my insurance off and we just found out today that it was still in the towing yard "because they didn't have a tow truck." Thanks for wasting our time, hopefully they won't waste yours. read more

My vehicle was brought in for damage due to a deer on 12/23/22. I was told that my vehicle was ready for pickup on 02/01/23. I paid the full balance then Mike states that my light is on back order and to just bring the vehicle back when the headlight arrives. He goes to bring me my vehicle and I realize that I'm waiting for over 20 minutes. He tells me that someone must have left a light on because the vehicle needed to be jumped. I tell him okay and leave with my vehicle. It is almost 2 months since picking it up so I call and text. He doesn't respond. Later he send a text that he will call me shortly. I never receive a call. On June 6 I head to Classic Collision after no one picks up my call. I am greeted by the manager who states that my headlight is here and she can go ahead and get it replaced. Her resolving my headlight issue is the only reason I gave 1 star because the shop deserves none. Besides my headlight my Jeep has never started since picking it up from this shop. I've paid for 3 batteries and a new alternator trying to figure out why it is not staying started. I have never had this issue with this vehicle until picking up from this shop. I have done nothing but waste money after sending my car here to get "fixed". read more
