Today I brought in my Civic Type R for some damage caused by an 18 wheeler's tire blowing up in front of me and hitting my front bumper. There wasn't any serious damage to the bumper but there was damage to the front lip. I didn't want to go through insurance for a full bumper replacement and went to classic collision to see if my bumper was salvageable. One of their technicians was able to pop the front lip back into place and for now it looks like there was no damage at all. And they didn't even take my money when I offered to pay for the labor.
