Clean shop, friendly barbers and patrons. They have an ATM but some people accept cash apps like "cashapp" lol. I will be back as I love this undercut phase of my life. There were 2 barbers there. 1 had a client and the other was sitting there. She asked what I wanted and I said to cut all my hair off low with no shape up. She looked shocked and said she's never had a woman come in and say that. I should've walked out at that point since plenty of women do "the big chop". She went and talked to someone then said I could get in her chair. She started by cutting my hair with scissors saying that it was so thick she needed to cut it down first. This was not my first time cutting my hair all off so this was red flag number 2. I asked how long she had been cutting hair and she didn't really answer. She said it was a teaching shop and that she used to be a cop. She retired and now she was starting a new career Long story short, it took her an hour and a half to cut my hair which is ridiculous. I was tired after a 12 hour shift and there's no reason what I asked for should've taken that long. She cut a little bit at a time alternatingbetweenscissors and the clippers. She used huge scissors by my ears and it was terrifying. She cut my hair uneven and on one side she left my sideburn and straight cut it on the other side. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because the cut was only $20 and the barber was very nice.

Stepping out on faith and googled shops, Underground Cutz was the first to pop up. Called to check if walkin's were accepted and Zo told me come in. That will always be the best search I've ever done because I now have a new first class barber.
