What was the best was Joe did a great job of educating you on what is important in HVAC. He didn't try to sell you some warranty or "yearly maintenance plan" like other HVAC places. He installed the units quickly and with expertise. He also noticed a pipe was leaking on the hot water heater and fixed/welded a new pipe at no charge. The whole experience was easy and made a not so fun purchase much more enjoyable. I'm very hesitant to tear down locally owned small business (I am one myself) but the only reason I'm giving 1 star is b/c zero is not an option. My wife & I own a nice residential rental property in the Woodmoor HOA (top of the hill off County Line Rd) & just before Christmas 2024 our tenants awakened one morning to a cold house. We've all been there. They called Mtn Creek. Justin came out, diagnosed the problem as being a failed blower motor & needed a new igniter. Ok. He did the work; I was invoiced & paid $2,100. Days later the house is cold again. They called Mtn Creek & were told Justin could come investigate in late January. They called me. It was the coldest week (so far) of the year & I'd just shelled out over 2 grand - waiting 4 weeks for him to stand being his work was unacceptable, so I called personally. This was Tues. They found a hole (allegedly) on the calendar & scheduled him to come the following Friday - over a week & a half later. Fortunately, the house also has a wood-burning stove. The next Friday he was a no call/no show. Multiple calls made by both the tenants & me all went directly to voice mail, which isn't helpful b/c of the "This voice mail box is full" message we get on 100% of calls. I/we call for roughly another week & finally a woman answers. I tell her the situation & she sets an appointment for him to come last Friday (Jan. 3) at noon. At 1:45 I get a call from my tenant informing me Justin has again no call/no showed. They put their day on hold, took time off of work to be there & meet him b/c....its cold outside, and, nothing. We both again begin calling. Again nothing. Finally on one of my calls I get the voicemail lead tone & leave a message. To this very moment there has never been a callback. I can't imagine running a business or treating a customer this way. I now have to call another HVAC company, pay them some yet-to-be-determined amount to come out, diagnose & correct a problem I've already spent $2100 on & endured weeks of unnecessary frustration. All they had to do was a) show up at the appointed time, and/or, pick up the phone, call, and reschedule if necessary. Its an imperfect science, things happen, we all understand that. But its December/January & a house at 7,500 feet. Apologies of the length but this is an unexaggerated accounting of events. I've never met Justin, I don't live in the house, I just pay the bills, & again, I'm really not the type to go off on a negative rant like this, in fact if it were $100 I probably wouldn't bother. But this has been truly atrocious & frankly Justin, I'd appreciate a portion of my money being refunded.

He told me he was finishing up another job and could be over at my house in about 30 minutes. I thought "oh no, here comes another sales job." How WRONG I was!
