I came here for my last oil change however, and was aggressively told I had "zero oil" in my car and was promptly informed that it could be fixed for $80. I did not have this service done but instead had a mechanic look my engine over and found no problems. when I asked then gentleman this time about any lack of oil in my engine, he explained everything looked great and there was no issues. I definitely feel like the first gentleman was trying to get a sale out of a female and I am glad I didn't listen to him. read more

Came in about week ago because I was in need of getting an oil change on my TDI. I usually do the work myself but was unable to. I'm very picky and I wanna see what's being done. The guys here were super nice and professional. They let me stay inside my car as I watched them work. They were quick and did everything with care, just like I would have. I will definitely be coming back. It's so hard to find a place to trust with your vehicle but I think this place is great. The price was cheaper than most places I called. Gave me the wrong filter. My wife drove the car for apx. 3,000 miles with the wrong filter. I take the car to get the oil changed at a different place that doesn't make you wait an hour. They gave me the old filter and showed that it was the wrong part number. Classic Lube can't be trusted. read more

Rude!!!! Unbelievable how rude the "check in" woman was when I drove in. Stopped me before I even got close to the bays with a hand gesture and a glare. Told me it would be at least 25 minutes before they could even let me move forward. There were 2 cars being worked on and no other cars waiting. When I arrived I was told it would be $19, as soon as I sat down to wait a man came and told me that my car took a special kind of oil and it would cost $49. Was the same car I drove up in? When I said I'd take it to the dealer were they only charge me $25. The man got very argumentative and rude. This was not necessary and would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

My family and I take all our cars here! I'm currently here right now and one of the employees remembered my name before they even saw my car (I parked around the corner). They even asked me how my windshield wipers were doing, I had them replaced 6 months ago! (Again, this was all before they had looked my car up!). Excellent. I drove right in, they were considerate, expedient and thorough. I was told 15 min and it was 15. They vacuumed my car as a courtesy. Came here for the first time a few months ago because it was convenient and cheap. I left satisfied because I got my oil and power steering fluid changed, even though I only wanted my oil changed. I just figured they were being nice by letting me know I needed this extra service done. Paid $90 after thinking I was going in for only $20. A couple weeks ago I went in again to get my oil changed, and that's it. While I was sitting in the waiting room with two other girls I overheard the mechanic come in and tell the girl that she needed a bunch more stuff done to her car, she told him "no". I thought it was weird considering my last time there. Then the mechanic came in and told me I needed something with my transmission and one other thing, along with my oil. I was mad, I told him that every time I come here you tell me I need something else done to my car and told him just to change my oil. After I told them and was paying for my service, they were incredibly rude. It's clear that the owner of this place is just trying to make a quick buck by luring people in with a low price and could care less about keeping customers coming back because of good service and prices. read more

I have written before about the poor service at this business but it has disappeared-it go to show you what a poor business it really is. When I had my oil changed they told me that my transmission fluid was burned.That it would cost me $200 to replace it. I said I would take it to my mechanic. This is the business I take all my cars to. The standard oil change is so incredibly affordable, even of you do get a filter or the higher mileage oil your not paying much more. Awesome service!! They're so friendly here and the prices aren't gouging. I recently acquired a new car and had no idea that it took synthetic oil, as to I've had oil changes done by another "major company" won't name any names, but I was never told that I didn't have an option for oil because the car had to have synthetic. Instead the other place sold me the cheap oil change but tried selling me other stuff I didn't need. So, you can imagine my surprise when I was asked what year the car was and was told I couldn't have the more affordable conventional option. Even then, the manager offered to call the dealership and double check just in case he was wrong. He went above and beyond what was required of him. Fast service. Friendly faces, AND they even put a thank you card on your dashboard with a little candy for your business. It's not much but once again, the whole "above and beyond" comes back in to play. It's a tiny detail that shows appreciation of your business, I kept the note in my car for a week before I brought myself to throw it away because it always warmed my heart. Oil change places are NOT all the same. Classic Lube Express goes above and beyond any customer service that I have ever seen. They changed my oil and checked all my fluids, i expected that. But, they also cleaned the inside of my car and provided a FREE air freshener. They even got my door for me when I left, that was a nice touch. Best of all, they showed me in detail the things about my car that I honestly did not know about. They did not pressure me at all and the gentleman was very friendly and nice to talk to. I went for a B1 service for my Honda CRV today. The dealers charge about $200.00 for that service, which is basically oil change and cabin filter. I was charged 19.99 just for the oil change because the cabin filter does not need to be replaced. They told me it's still very clean. I was in and out very soon. I find them to be very honest because if I had taken it to Honda they would've charged me 9 times more. From now on, I'm going to have my oil changes done by them. read more

Went here and they had a long line ahead of me. The guy that took my information down while I was waiting was the biggest jerk I have met. He got really rude with me when I asked what the expected wait time was. He put the flyer under my windshield wiper and then stalked off. After they took a customer into the bay who drove up AFTER ME I decided to go elsewhere for my oil change. When I drove away the flyer came off my window and landed in the parking lot. I was immediately called by the red haired worker who then left a NASTY voicemail telling me I was a piece of shit and to never return to the store again. I contacted the owners who told me they didnt care. I have boycotted this company ever since and also the Chevron on walker they are next to. I do about 6 oil changes per year on my car and 4 on my wifes. That is over $200 a year they will never get from my family again. And the Chevron next to them lost abotu $6,000 a year in fill up revenue from me as well. To top it off the previous oil change I did with them 2 months prior they stripped the oil pan bolt and screwed up the threading on my oil pan so I had to have it redrilled. DO NOT SHOP HERE OR ANY OF THEIR OTHER LOCATIONS THEY ARE RUDE AND DONT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. read more

Fastest oil change I have had in years. Guess I have gotten used to wating an hour in a waiting room while mechanics work through a long backlog. Had to stop coming here because they forgot to take the old oil out of my car the last time... my car started smoking about a week after... and then my dad checked it and noticed that the oil was VERY full... and definitely much darker than oil should have been after only a week. I am very disappointed with the lack of service/respect I received today at Classic Lube Express on Walker road. The manager informed me Ford requires I now use a premium synthetic oil that is very costly and a marginal up-sale for their business. Considering my car is a model year 2013 with dozens of oil changes under its belt with regular blend oil I knew something was wrong. The manager sat right in front of me, LIED, and gave me the option of taking the up-sale or leaving without any service. I left immediately and contacted three Ford dealerships to ask them if Ford now requires full synthetic oil in their 2013 ecoboost motors(what i have), the answer was no every time. This establishment pushed up-sales and lied right to your face to get the sale. Beware, this is a dishonest business. read more

I went to the Walker Road location for the first time a couple weeks ago. The service was fast and courteous. Everything was, as advertised, for $19.99. It was a Friday morning so I do not know what the wait time would be if it were busy. I was in an out in about 15 minutes and they did not try to sell me anything I did not need. I have been going here for about 3 years and finally had it with this place. I always bring my own oil and filter and they still charge me the same full price, so I know they make money off me. Last time I went thought really shocked me when I again said no to a useless service called an engine flush. The reason I change my oil every 3k miles is to keep my engine clean that's the point of changing the engine oil. I again said no and this time they put on my bill that "if I have a mechanic to have them change the oil." That is the exact words found on my bill! What kind retailer says this to a customer simply saying just changing you oil is not enough? Not to mention a service that completed just thru regular maintenance and is completely useless costs 49.99! Really? That's the last time I will every grace them with my business and my yearly purchases of over priced wiper blades. Owner, time to get a new crew. read more

I have two vehicles. A Toyota pick up and a almost new Honda Civic. I took my Honda there and this car is cherry and very well taken care of. They told me that my air filter is missing and my cabin filter is missing. Not bad and in need of replacement but MISSING. So I paid probably twice the rate and had them put them in. Then I thought not too much about it other than where did these parts go. Last Saturday I took my Toyota pick up there and low and behold I was told my cap for my power steering was missing. The man in question is the assistant manager he was the person I dealt with on both my Honda and my pickup. He said the fluid was contaminated and needed replaced and of course wanted to sell me a new cap along with new fluid. I explained to him that they did the last oil change and I never popped the hood since. There was no mention of a missing cap at that time. However last time they said my transmission fluid was low but this time the fluid level was fine. After this short conversation It was only 10 minutes later my truck was ready. No vacuum was done and no sticker in the window. He never spoke with me again. I did get my car wash. I have done nothing to my truck before I was there on Saturday the 31st of May and as I said never even popped the hood. I showed him the sticker in the window and told him the mileage. He was snippy and said he doesn't care about the mileage. Just the fluid was very seriously bad and needed replaced. I went to three auto parts stores and the part was not available and had to go to a Toyota dealership and paid $29.00 for this cap. I am to say at the very least very upset. I called and need to call again tomorrow to speak with the senior manager. I am not done with this. There is definitely something going on here. Is there anyone out there with missing parts. If I do not get results I am going to call the BBB. I feel I was mugged in some alley way somewhere. The assistant manager was defensive and abrasive. I went to Classic Lube Express because my oil change light came on. I did not have any wait time to get in. I immediately had 3 staff members helping me, one under the hood, one washing my windshield and one at my window. They took down all of my car information and asked to double check my drivers manual to make sure that my car did not require synthetic. They told me that my car requires a special filter which would cost about $5 extra (my car does require this). After I was told the price and how long the oil change would take, the man under my hood came over to my window. He informed me that my oil is VERY clean, and really will not require an oil change any time soon. Apparently the last place I took my car for an oil change (Jiffy Lube), did not reset the light for me. I was amazed by the fact that the staff was honest to me. They could have easily just changed my oil and got my $25 and I'd be none the wiser. It is so nice to see that there are some honest people out there, especially when it comes to the auto world! My rating may change when I go back in to actually get my oil changed. read more
