Where other contractors canceled appointments, arrived late, or were just no-shows - Mikel (out of their Hudson office) arrived on time and did a thorough assessment of the roof including taking drone footage. He sat with me and walked me through the whole process clearly, explaining all my choices in materials and didn't push any product or add-on. I did receive marginally cheaper quotes, but they did not leave me feeling like my home was in good hands in the same way that Mikel did, and I felt the extra money was likely to be worth it. Once I decided to go ahead with them, again, everything was done very professionally. I was kept informed of times and everybody showed up exactly when they said they would. I made a small change to the scope of the work in replacing additional plywood sections of the roof, and these were easily accommodated on short notice. On the day of the work, the crew showed up on time and Jurgan (the site foreman) kept everything moving with minimal disruption to us. I was working from home, and my wife and kids were in and out of the house for school and errands. Despite replacing the entire roof of the main building and two additions over approximately 9 hours, there was minimal disruption to our days. The house was protected during the work, and even with snow still on the ground, their cleanup crew constantly walked the property picking up and disposing of any debris, nails, old material etc. Ultimately the roof was replaced successfully and looks good. Every step of the job was explained to me, every question answered, and every decision explained. The team was professional, punctual and courteous throughout. Once my girlfriend and I decided it was time to replace our roof, we contact a few contractors to get estimates. From the very beginning Done Right Roofing (DRR), was totally focused on customer service. When we received the estimate, we also received several other PDF documents from them including references, color option information, a certificate from the BBB, client addresses where we could see the color options in person and more. The list of references wasn't just 10 or 20 names ... it was more like 400!! It's worth mentioning that DRR was also the least expensive estimate we received. I got a very nice follow up call from Jim to check in and ask if we'd made our decision. Of course we had and booked the date. Jim went over what we should expect and how we should prepare for the day. The crew and materials arrived at the time and they began work around 7:30am. The work went very fast! They finished our detached garage by 11am and the entire job was complete and cleaned up by 2:30pm. We couldn't believe how fast it all happened. There was a "walk around" after the job was completed to make sure we were satisfied, which we definitely were and still are. The roof looks fantastic and we're completely satisfied with everything DRR did for us. As I mentioned in the beginning, we highly recommend them!!

First impressions last and Done Right didn't disappoint ... they actually picked up the phone when I called! A stark contrast to the half dozen other vendors I called. This is a real contrast to their competitors. Within 24 hours the owner, John Mancini, was at my property to assess wind damage. Fast forward another 24 hours and John was working with my insurance agent to negotiate a complete roof replacement! The job was done in a timely manner with a very high level of quality. My yard wasn't destroyed; there weren't nails all over the place and the new roof looked spectacular! The only issue I had was with my DirecTV dish. During the replacement the dish was reinstalled and could no longer get a clear line of sight. After a series of issues with the provider and the placement of the dish due to nuances of my property I had to move on from the service. While this was certainly not Done Right's problem or responsibility they graciously came over, removed the dish and placed new shingles where the dish was to ensure a roof done right! I can't imagine many other roofing companies would do this. Kudos to the Done Right team! Lastly, my wife and I had a baby during our install and Done Right sent us a very nice card congratulating us. How thoughtful is that?! They say you'll forget what people say to you but you'll never forget how they made you feel. Rest assured we will never forget our experience with Done Right and highly recommend them to anyone in need of a roofing company. (Proposal…read more#16872151) OCI360 Exteriors sent out someone to look at the project (June 7, 2024) and spent a few hours measuring and talking about procedure and policies etc. He gave me a quote within a few hours and even offered to lower it if we would pay cash. He called his boss while we were sitting there, who offered an even better price if we would let them put a sign up and pressure us to agree to terms on the spot, which I said I would not do without my spouse. They sent the proposal (June 18, 2024) and we agreed to terms that day or the next and I signed the contract. They sent an invoice for the first third of the work (June 28, 2024, I didn't see this the first time, and requested that they resent it on July 1, 2024). They sent the project manager out to look at the job (On or about July 3, 2024) and look at logistics. He told me that once the deposit was paid they will file a permit the same day with our town. I texted them immediately after the deposit was sent (July 8, 2024) and my phone rang within 10 seconds. They said they mismeasured the job (two weeks earlier) and it would require $5500 more for them to do the job. This was a 68% increase over the agreed upon (signed contract) price. They asked me how much my other offers were for and I said I wouldn't tell them that and that I expected the company to hold up their end of our contract. I do not think they are losing money at all. After two weeks since I paid and they have still not filed a permit or delivered a dumpster as promised. The project manager texted me today to say that his office would start processing the return of my deposit as they would not do the job unless we agreed to pay 68% more than the quoted, signed upon price. If this review is still posted here, then this matter has not been resolved, and my money has still not been refunded.
