We often get mix drinks and we never had a bad one. I highly recommend the espresso martini and peach sangria. The burgers here are amazing! They are so incredibly juicy , with great flavor and always cooked perfectly to how I order . Onion Rings are so good here, nice thick slices of onion with a crispy Panko coating. Pasta here is always great and sometimes it is from the fresh pasta place next door, Lil Rhody Pasta which is always amazing! I especially loved their gnocchi special, which was also from lil Rhody! We walked in just after 8 on a Friday night and were greeted by two very friendly young women at the host stand. We opted to sit at a high top table in the lively bar area. Every seat at the bar was taken. Our server was friendly and attentive, and brought our drinks, $8 for a Sam Adams seasonal draft, and $15 for a Bulleit Bourbon Old Fashioned cocktail (which was mixed well and nicely presented, sans the anticipated Luxardo cherry). My friend ordered the Fondue Burger with truffle fries. The burger was cooked perfectly (medium) and smothered with a delicious cheese sauce sprinkled with fresh bacon crumbles - decadent and delicious. The fries are thin and crispy (the best way) and served in one of those cute little metal baskets with just the right amount of truffle. I had the salmon rice bowl which was better than I expected it to be. The fish was fresh and cooked nicely, (medium, although it could have been taken off heat a minute or two earlier, but not what I consider 'overcooked' by any means), and sat atop some very delicious coconut jasmine rice. The bowl also had a heap of zingy red onions, thinly sliced perfectly ripe avocado, a yummy mango salsa, and was drizzled with a very nice cilantro crema. Perfection. I ate the whole thing, felt a bit overstuffed and unable to taste the burger (next time!) I am very happy to report that Pine House Kitchen & Bar got four thumbs up from us, and I look forward to visiting again with family and friends.

Well Basil & Bunny is an amazing suprise for lunch today as they hit the mark!!! Shared parking lot with ample parking. There is both inside and outside seating options here. From bar seating, to tables for two or four (can pull some together for larger party) plenty of arrangements for your party size. Inside has light music that does not interfere with conversation and even when packed still a quiet feel. Staff is very friendly and passionate about their plant based creations. Rotating monthly special dishes/bowls to enjoy. Plenty of sweet treat options to give a try as well. I grab a sunshine bowl with impossible crumble (seasoned tofu also an option) and came with plenty of flavor with its mix of seasoned veggies, brown rice, tortilla and lime herb dressing. They had cookies and tarts that looked incredible (definitely going back to try those ), but we went for the classic vegan hot dog and it was so satisfying. Super flavorful, generously loaded with sauces, and that perfect crunch in every bite. It had that nostalgic street-food feel while being completely plant-based. After trying them at the fest, we're definitely planning a visit to their restaurant to explore more of the menu.
