Ambiance is great, service was alright, coffee was good but not $7 good. I'd go to look at all the memorabilia but that's about all.

I tend to stop here when visiting family in the area and it has always been a good consistent lunch option. They have sandwiches, salads, personal pizzas, breakfast options, and more. Service has always been prompt and friendly. If there's a one off mistake, they'll make it right, at least that's been my experience. It's just a funky small town cafe that has a lot of character and options. Beyond the food, they have coffee, random acoustic live music, and a little music/guitar shop in the back to boot. My cousin brought me here for lunch before heading to our cousins. Navasota has surely changed since the last time I was here. This place is really nice. I ordered the Freebird with chips and a cappuccino. Freebird is Sliced Turkey, bacon, Swiss cheese, spring mix, red onion & diced tomato & mild garlic aioli on your choice of bread was good but my drink was supposed to be hot but was warm. If you are on a time schedule, or are in town for ren fest, or trying to get to your destination at a certain hour I would AVOID this place !! We ordered 2 things off the food menu and waited an hour!! After 40 minutes , we asked the barista about our order, she checks on our order and tells us "10 minutes". She has no care in the world and she looked at me like I was bothering her. Well those 10 minutes turned into 20 minutes. We get up to check on our order for the 2nd time and they ask us, "what did you order"? Smh!!! They bag it up and we take it to go. We also ordered tea w / a SPLASH of lemonade and they give us 50/50 so now it's way too sweet. Our coffee was too creamy and even after TWO shots , still not strong enough. I work in a kitchen too so I understand, BUT the wait was ridiculous for it not being busy.. Look at the chickens wrap I was given after waiting for an hour. So lame!! The baristas need better training and so does BOH, They just simply have "I don't care" attitudes. I travel a lot between Houston and Austin plus am a faithful renfest goer and we will never stop here again. The place is cool doe , I think you can buy the vinyls that are by the restroom? What a gem of a place! Great food, excellent coffee and music galore. I love that they play the music low enough that you can have a conversation or opt to tune in! "Paradise By The Dashboard Lights"! Guitars, CDs, vinyl, memorabilia! The bacon and egg quesadillas were delicious and enough for two! Avocado toast was good, too. Also plentiful. A great little spot in a charming little town. I drive through Navasota a lot on road trips, today I needed a caffeine fix and we decided to stop in and so glad we did. Everything about the place is cool; the decor, the music, the merchandise, everything. Whether you need a snack, something to drink, or you want to browse and shop some vinyls or guitars, you can do it here. The coffee is delicious, the staff is incredibly friendly, the bathrooms are clean, and parking is super easy. Outside there is an incredible mural to enjoy, and just across the street is the Muddy Waters bookstore. If you find yourself in this little town, I highly encourage you to stop and spend some time walking around, lots of hidden gems here. read more

Great little small town cafe, not far from Houston. We took a quick drive and enjoyed the ambiance and food here. Little record store and music room in the back is a nice touch. Coffee was good too. I bought a CD that is in the back of the store and when I got home to play the there was no CD in the case I have called at least 10 times to try to get them to mail me a CD because there was two more CDs just like the one I bought and the owner manager of the Classic Rock refuses to call me back. It is located in downtown Navasota and they have several little boutique to visit after you get a drink and or food from Classic Rock. My hubby and I stopped in after having lunch in the area. I saw all the great reviews on Yelp so we had to give it a try. My hubby LOVES classic rock music so this place is perfect for him. He loved seeing all the great rock posters and signed guitars. CR also has merch for sale. Hoodies, T-shirts, hats, coffee accessories, tchotchkes, guitar picks, albums, CDs and much much more. On Sundays 12:30-2:30pm they have live music. CR is not just a coffee place they also have food too. We saw some being brought out and it looks really good. We will have to come another day and give the food a try. Now on to our drinks. My husband ordered a Raspberry Beret, and I had a "sweet child o' mine" (white chocolate & caramel). My husband and I both LOVED our drinks! Mine was the best drink I have had in a LONG time. First visit yesterday morning . Restaurant was about 35 to 40 % full . As I ordered a quesadilla, bottled water and coffee.The young man order taker stated it would be 15 to 20 minutes to get my food . I was hesitant , as I had a dog in my truck and a time restraint . But I paid for the order . And WAITED ! At 28 minutes , no food . And as I walked up to check on my order , a lady whom ordered right before me checked on her order for 6 . Her order was not ready . So , thinking it will probably be another 5 to 10 minutes , before my order MIGHT be ready . I told a only person behind counter / young lady I was out of time and at least I will take the bottled water , but I was out of time . So I told her to give the breakfast quesadilla to somebody else , or hungry needy . I paid for the quesadilla , did not have time to stand BACK in now long line to get refund . Coffee was good , Bottled water was great ! So to summarize, ordered and paid for food , never got it ! Did not want to wait in long lone for refund due to time constraint. What a cool, funky place this is! And the food is just excellent - I had a world-class burger and my wife the salmon sandwich. Both rivaled many very good restaurants. The interior is a total blast - you could easily kill an afternoon looking at the walls, perusing the classic rock vinyl in the back room, and reading all the posters hung literally everywhere. The only thing that kept this from being a wonderful experience was the surly young lady who took our order and later sold me a t-shirt. Unsmiling and clearly put out to be there, her attitude was at a striking contrast to the fun decor and excellent food. We stopped in for a good cup of coffee while taking a break from a long road trip. This being one of the few coffee shops in town and on the main drag our route took us on, it seemed a no-brainer. Ambiance is mid-volume rock music with rock 'n roll memorabilia for decoration. Think "Hard Rock Cafe" in a coffee shop, meaning it seemed like a cool place to be. They've a huge selection of speciality coffees for the connoisseur, but we didn't have much time so we ordered two plain coffees. While the order was being taken, a burnt smell filled the air, coming from the kitchen. After we paid, the cashier pulled two cups to hand us and said that if the coffee was lukewarm, she would warm it in the microwave for us. I asked how long had the coffee been sitting there. She said it had been about two hours. She did then offer to brew some fresh, but between the burnt smell, the apparently stale coffee, and our need to get back on the road, I asked for a refund. She told me she'd need the manager. She ducked into the kitchen and comes back to the counter. A guy (the manager?) comes out with her and doesn't stop at the counter with us. He heads over to the coffee carafe, pours a cup, and takes a sip. Then he walks over and asks us are we sure we can't wait for a fresh pot. I told him no, we needed to get back on the road. He pulls out a laptop and proceeds to initiate the refund. I thanked him and we left the coffee shop that serves two-hour-old coffee. read more

Yall this place is a hidden gym in the Brazos Valley! I came in to grab a late lunch. The clerk informed their internet was malfunctioning and they were only taking cash. So after a quick trip to a local bank, I came back with cash on hand and a big appetite for great, local food. I ordered the sriracha chicken salad sandwich. I got it on ciabatta bread with provolone cheese. It came with kettle chips and I ordered sweet peach tea, so good! The sandwich was mind-blowingly amazing and the service was wonderful. This is our Saturday and Sunday coffee stop. We moved to Navasota in March and this place has been our favorite spot in town. The service is always great with friendly faces and people who care to remember your name. If they are busy, be prepared to wait a good bit for coffee and food, but it's worth it. We had chicken and waffles... you can't mess that up... they did, nasty ass chicken nuggets (doughy) .. waffles were ... hmmm not the best.. the ppl are came with fruit... it would be best if they emptied a can of fruit and served that. Was in town for professional development and locals recommended this place for lunch. Lots of music paraphernalia and matching decor. Service was a little slow but many of my coworkers invaded the place all at the same time so they were hit with a rush of people. Decided to go with a hummus plate and guacamole with blue corn tortilla chips. Great recommendation locals! The hummus was made with red peppers and just the right amount of seasonings. The hummus was creamy, flavorful, and served with fresh grilled pita. It was accompanied with cucumber and carrots. The guacamole didn't taste fresh-made but was still tasty with the slightly salty blue corn tortilla chips. My coworkers ordered soups and sandwiches and said they were quite good.
