I must admit being from SONO this is a Must-Have. I was skeptical at first but after the first slice fresh out of the oven. I was not only inclined to order a whole pie but to return a few days later. I love the consistency, price, quality of ingredients and size of the slice itself. Do not order the jumbo pizza. It loses it taste and does not have the same quality and love as the smaller pies.

    Greasy pizza. Yum...

If you're looking for a mediocre slice of pizza with bland toppings in a location with a dull atmosphere look elsewhere. This place isn't quite as good as that. Not sure how pizza like this sells in an area surrounded by superior options. The grease dripping off a single slice was pretty bad. I could have forgiven that if it was contrasted against nice flavor or decent crust. I'm a little baffled by the good reviews. Not sure what they saw that I didn't. For one reviewer this place was his one and only review...so that makes it suspect. They were, however, answering a steady stream of delivery calls so maybe I'm the ignorant one. So...I didn't spit the food out of my mouth or walk out...but I won't return. Also, in fairness, I didn't try anything else so maybe I missed something amazing (doubt it).

To say it's a slice of Italy is an insult to all things and everything Italian. It's more like a slice from one of those crappy no-frills pizza joints that dot every corner of Manhattan. The ones that are a dime a dozen. This pizza makes frozen Ellio's pizza seem like Frank Pepe's pizza. So yea it's pretty bad. But maybe I should have known better. The buffalo wings on the menu we're a warning that said "Get ready for some really bad pizza." Although I could be wrong, maybe buffalo wings are all the rage in Rome. ::rolls eyes::

    Jumbo pizza with eggplant

Ordered a 20" jumbo cheese pizza with eggplant topping thru Uber eats. Pizza arrived on time and tasted good but could've used some more seasoning/flavor in the sauce. Also there's about 2 inch crust and border with just sauce but no cheese coverage. Would stop by again if I'm in the area but not sure it's the best value for delivery.

    Margareta slice, pretty good
    Steve C.

I had a Margareta slice, wasn't the traditional style, which made it even better. fresh tomatoes (no sauce, which is a good thing) bits of garlic, freash cheese, olive oil and really good crust, great flavor. As for the other review.. first off, you ordered boring plain pizza (which is "always" a boring choice anywhere) and this is CT, not NYC for your $1 slice.. lol

Can we talk about what a life changing experience going to Crust Issues has been?…read more I mean, yes, y'all are right, your parking is utter shizz. But the food?! My God. We had the most amazing dishes. The garlic knots are somehow both crispy on the outside and soft and light on the inside with the most amazing garlic butter. The mozzarella sticks covered in the marinated peppers are amazing. I am going to dream about the salad INSIDE the pizza. The pastina was perfection. The wings were crispy and the sauce was heavenly. And the pizza was almost like a focaccia with all the flavor and creative toppings only evil geniuses can provide. The restaurant was clean and had great atmosphere; well decorated and cozy. The staff was friendly and fun. You are clearly an enclave of sarcastic wizards who use your powers for culinary evil of the best variety. We drove an hour to get there and I will be back. But I might park in a real parking lot and take an Uber.

This place looked incredible online, and I was really looking forward to trying it. Unfortunately,…read moreit was one of the biggest disappointments we've had in a while. The meatballs were cold in the middle. The pastina was scorching hot, like it had been microwaved too long. The garlic knots had no garlic on them. The biggest letdown was the Italian sandwich pizza. It looked amazing in the photos, but it was awful. The crust was so hard it was difficult to cut, and everything inside was cold, like it had been sitting around instead of being made fresh. The food looked much better than it tasted on instagram. We won't be back.

My mom had insisted on going here on Mother's Day. Fortunately, their Connecticut location was open and we went. Bianca, I believe as a manager and was super accommodating with my mom's 100 questions haha. We started with one of the salads and the brussels sprouts. Both were great, but the brussels sprouts stood out to me. As for the pizza, we got the Margherita, Rustic, & Bayside. All of them were great, but the Bayside had to be my favorite. The pistachio pesto and goat cheese went very well together. The Rustic was a close runner up- mushrooms and truffle oil are always a match made in heaven. The Margherita was a classic but with the style of super thin, almost cracker-thin pizza I preferred the other two more. All in all, my family and I would definitely make it out to Norwalk again just for this place (& we live in Long Island). Thanks Bianca for making my Mom's day!
