No photos here tonight! As much as I love to try new things, sometimes we all need to get back to our basics. For me, this is one thing that I always come back to. Long before I wrote my first review for Yelp, this place has been a long-time favorite of mine, and I am glad to still have this around! Been coming here since 2010, and ever since I have been a regular. Service is always great, and I am always greeted with a smile! When I come, I always love ordering their Manhattan White slices! 2 slices will fill me up, so I'm never paying exorbitant prices to have a good meal that will satisfy me the rest of the night. I've even had my work order from this place for in-service trainings. They also have other great specialties such as the Chicken Bacon Ranch and the Baked Ziti pizzas. If you're looking for a larger than average slice of solid pizza then head on down to Pinocchio Pizza. The establishment is small inside but features plenty of booths inside. They have 2 cases for drinks, slices to go, and a whole host of other options. The staff is pretty friendly and generally polite. I can't say I've had a bad experience with dining in or taking out. Overall a great spot to grab a hot slice while I'm out at Wilton. read more

Love this place for delivery. It's the closest to Brooklyn pizza we've found outside of Slice in Stamford. Portions are generous and the food is very good. For dessert, there are not many places you can get hot Zeppolies! read more

Again, I don't like to pan a local joint, but I think they have reached the point where they are on cruise control and just don't care. Place was empty for lunch (except for a woman, possibly related to owner, with kids running around and being a pain). Server was slow to come over. I There is a section of the menu called "Stromboli and Rolls". The rolls are a good price. I asked what a roll was. The answer, literally "whatever we have up there, like a stromboli". Gave up and ordered a meatball parm sub. Pretty awful, texture of "meat" was very processed and had little flavor. Did not resemble meat. Red sauce average and not enough of it. At least the bread/cheese was good. As a follow up, the fam ordered pizza last Friday, and like my last review, its really terrible. We are so close to NY, you'd think it would be easy to get good pizza. Nope, a soggy, soft crust mess. Finally done with them. read more

Wide range of pizzas that differ from your usual thin crust pizza style of CT. A little thicker. Unfortunately it did not travel as well as I would have wanted as I had picked it up and didn't eat in. Not as good as the bar CT has set and you probably can find better elsewhere. However I have a feeling there are one or two types of pizzas on their menu that are probably really good. 3.5 stars. read more

It's very sad that I have to write this negative review. I have been a loyal customer for a year now. I prefer Pinnochio Pizza over most pizza in Wilton. I've never had a problem with them.... Until tonight. I received my order on my porch, but I noticed the box was slightly ajar. I opened the box and realized that a slice of pizza was missing. That wasn't the big issue, things happen from time to time so we called them to see if we could get a replacement pie for the damaged one we had received. My wife called the store to speak to the owner and tell him about the issue, suggesting maybe the delivery person had something to do with the damage (because we did not know what else would cause such precise damage). The owner, instead of just working to correct the issue, argued with us concerning how loyal his driver was. He was very nasty to my wife, told her he "wasn't falling for it" and acted as if she had been lying about the situation...his tone was so disrespectful and disgusting that I had to get involved in the call. I work in food service and when food issues occur normal protocol is just to work with someone to replace their food. Instead, I spent 10 minutes arguing about the loyalty of his driver, and hearing him refuse to make us another pizza (even though we technically hadn't even asked him for one) Even when I said "take the driver's involvement out of the equation, we still have a damaged pizza" he asked me "you work in food service what would you do if someone called you with this complaint?" I responded, "I would just REPLACE their DAMN PIZZA." After all the arguing, he finally asked if we wanted a replacement pizza....we did not. He asked if we wanted our money back, we said yes and he hung up the phone. The experience was so unpleasant, my wife and I lost our appetite and just threw our two pies away. I can guarantee we won't be ordering from here EVER AGAIN. Because God forbid there is ever something wrong with our order in the future, clearly we would be verbally reprimanded and called liars. This is the most unpleasant experience I've had with a restaurant owner in Wilton and the most unpleasant experience I've had with a Wilton resident since I've moved here. We had been loyal, using this company for everything from business meetings to birthday parties. Never again. Wishing all of you better luck than we had. read more

Ordered online and was told it would take 45 minutes for a slice and order of mozzarella sticks. Repeatedly checked my order status hoping I would get the notification that it was ready. Got to the restaurant 10 minutes early on the off chance that the food would ready. It was ready alright - probably had been for 20 minutes or more. According to the app, it's still not ready. It was barely room temperature, and completely inedible. If I had the ability to go home and reheat, I would, but it's not an option. I will not be ordering from here again. read more

My daughter and I all summer have been getting 2 slices of cheese and one tomatoes slice for months - we pick up and still give a $3 tip. A friend picked up our order just now and I swore it was a different pizzeria. Instead of a sliced horizontal tomatoes and cheese covered with minimal tomato sauce I got a disgusting greasy cheese slice with cold old tomato cubes thrown on top. Which looked gross and fell right off. Straight to the dumpster. I called and the new workers said 'seasoned tomato' vs tomato should have been ordered. I went yesterday and ordered tomato and no problem. I just left a letter for the owner which he may or may not get from the laughing pizza makers - who yesterday asked if I wanted the slices 'hot'. I'm really confused about this restaurant. I ordered a calzone and what I received was just gross. No ricotta at all just mozzarella, meat, and grease. And I mean tons of grease. The staff here is very friendly Their food is so good I come here every day for lunch! I work across the street, with many choices around me, but it only took one bite of their buffalo chicken slice for me to fall in love with it. The slices are pretty big so it can keep you full till dinner. They have many other food selections other than pizza that I have seen other customers order which look good and at a great price. We had ordered from this place before and we have never had their pizza taste this bad. We ordered a large pepperoni and the Cal Italian (prosciutto with sweet fig pizza). Sad to say, it wasn't as good as the last few times I've ordered from them. The prosciutto came in big chunks, the crust was super thick/puffy/chewy. I ordered parma salad pizza and they delivered veggie delight pizza. When I called to tell them, the guy on the phone argued with me, insisting that the pizza they delivered was the salad pizza. He handed me over to the owner who was not apologetic - he too argued insisting that they delivered the salad pizza. Read the menu- Parma salad pizza has arugula, thin sliced tomato and prosciutto. Good pizza, a bit overpriced. We ordered delivery, that went just fine. Unfortunately the pizza was definitely overpriced for the area, and it wasn't so good to justify it. Other non-pizza things we ordered were less good, the garlic bread was pretty much just bread, and one person ordered the fettuccine alfredo and was very unhappy with it. Been house shopping in the Wilton area and easily the most important decision is where is the best slice of pizza. Well...I am moving from NYC so this is important to me I guess. Here is your winner. Fantastic pizza! I'm a regular and I've never been disappointed...except when there are no buffalo chicken slices available.

The pizza is ok & close by, but the prices are a bit too high. Try Letizia or Planet Pizza first.

Pizza is good and service is friendly...but, pet peeve, they only offer two sizes of pizza's. That in itself is fine...but, if you order a small, they insist on correcting you to say medium. If you only offer two sizes than it's Small and Large, not Medium and Large. read more

Solid NY style pizza in a low-key setting. Their are several booths to eat-in at, and like a lot pizza places, they do a brisk take-out business here. It is a quick walk over from the CommonFund building or the Wilton train station. I think old reviews are keeping this place at 3.5 - we've always had the best experience ordering here and it is by far our favorite. Food always delicious, the staff remember you and are always wonderful to work with, and orders are correct. Switched to ordering from Pinocchio exclusively for work and home over other places, after some bad experiences and incorrect orders elsewhere. Sicilian, buffalo chicken, Bronx special, chicken parm (catering), and calzones/pepperoni sticks are our favorites! read more
