I've been taking my two dogs here for over 3 years and my boys love them! First, there rates are the best in town. The staff have always been caring for my dogs and they have a webcam that you can access from your phone so I could watch my dogs the whole time they were there!! Tio always does such an amazing job on my dogs! I rescued a stray that was left at 7/11 a few months ago and Tio did an amazing job of caring for his badly irritated skin by bathing him in oatmeal and aloe. The owner is super sweet and always pays extra attention to the care of the dogs and the needs of the customers and you can tell that they really love working with animals. I will only be taking my pets here. They have private suites available too for your pets if you want them separate from the other dogs. read more

I absolutely, freak'n love this place! Not sure how I ever managed without them. I love 'em. Harlow, my crackhead, loves 'em. It keeps her healthy and sociable. Me sane. My place clean. Right now she's knocked out since I picked her up. The staff genuinely have a natural love of dogs you can't fake. When you're on the run in the mornings, they come out to your car and take your pooch. I've always been happy with their grooming services. They also have pet supplies, special play areas for dogs with special needs (i.e. not fixed, jumpers, in heat, etc), pet suites for boarding. They host behavior/training classes and donate the venue to animal rescues to host special pet events/fundraisers. What's not to love?!?! There hours are very accomodating. Ususally 7am-7pm, may want to check. And I love the half-day option (6 hours) rather than the full-day as well if you need a couple hours to handle things. When I'm running late, and haven't had the chance to let out some of Harlow's energy - I can drop her off in less than 10 minutes and know she'll be taken care of. Instead of worrying if she's going aggro on my latest Italian leather heel. I don't trust Harlow with my mother. Harlow doesn't trust herself with my mother. My BF and I just moved to Dallas for our jobs and finding a place for our pup was really hectic. We only had 4 days to move from Atlanta to Dallas, so it was down to the wire. Classy Canine has been fantastic and incredibly accommodating since day 1. My bf and I work at the office building across the street Mon- Saturday 8am-6:30 pm, we hate being away from our pup for so much of the day, but we know he is in great hands with Classy Canine. Michelle and the other girls that work there are so great with our puppy, Wrigely. Every morning when we pull into the parking lot he gets so excited and tugs the leash running towards the door. They always pick him up and give him kisses, which he loves and it is so sweet and reassuring to know that Wrigley is being taken care of by sweet, affectionate people that really love their jobs and the animals. Several times they have come outside to get Wrigely for us if our hands are full or if it's raining, I love that they would go above and beyond like that for us. We had one small issue last week with scheduling a grooming. I contacted the owner directly and he took the issue so personally and would not rest until it was solved and we were 100% happy, which of course we were. They offered a complimentary grooming the following week, and Wrigely looked and smelled great! We were so impressed. The rooms where the dogs stay are very clean and there are web cams so we can check in with him regularly. Pretty much evevrytime I check on him ( usually about 10 x's a day, haha) there is someone in the rooms cleaning. I was worried about them not going outside thinking it would ofset our poitty training, but not at all. We live in an apt down the road, and Wrigley is used to our big house back in GA with a huge back yard, but Wrigley is so good about going to the door and lketting us know he needs to go out. I walk in and it's pure urine smell. Paint is stripped off the walls. Not a clean place. I ask to see the area my dog would be playing and he points at a tv where I can see a few dogs playing unsupervised. I turn to leave and another lady says she is pulling her dog out of this daycare. The man follows me to my car to tap on my window and ask if I have questions and to tell me lots of people are switching to indoor only daycares. Creepy vibes and not a clean place. read more

I am so happy to have found this wonderful place that truly loves dogs. I have a VERY senior dog that can't play as ruff as some of the other dogs....they have special rooms for special need babies. I wanted to wait at least a month of taking my dog to write this review. My dog is not stressed and is truly loved while they watch him. Classy Canine has always been my go to for Grooming. My Standard Poodle is calm and enjoys his Spa day which involves a basic short cut with clean feet. He is groomed every 6-8 weeks. Totally understand a Standard Poodle is more cost, however, my cost has gone from $100. to $140. in less than a year. The groomer explains his ears are matted which involves more product and timing. When I picked him up his ears looked like he'd been through a shedding machine and no clean feet... The owner apologized for the cost, but said he had very little idea why the groomer charges so much. Guess I'll be finding another groomer. Sorry Classy Canine! read more

This is the best doggy day care and boarding in North Dallas! They have over 13,000 square feet of indoor play area and separate the large dogs from the small dogs. I take my two German Shorthair Pointers for boarding and they love it. They let the dogs out at 6 a.m. in the morning and let them play until 6 p.m. I check in on them periodically via the web camera and I get to see all the fun they are having. I board them in the large private luxury suite and it has a camera as well so I can check to see them fast asleep in the Kuranda Raised beds they provide. Best of all they only charge by the night and do not charge extra if you have special needs or request for your dogs. You can rest assured while you are away that your pups are having fun and resting as well as you are. read more

We take our boxer here a couple times a week and she seems to really enjoy it! She is passed out in the car before we even get out of the parking lot!! They facility is super clean and well maintained. The big dogs have over 1,000 feet run around in. The staff is also really great and helpful. So many dogs in and out all day and they always seem to remember which dog is ours - - good memory or do they have our picture? ;) We also board our dog here and it all works out great - she comes home pooped but happy and not mad at us! Scott is extremely accommodating. I trust his facility and his staff. My dog has anxiety issues and Scott was more than happy to accommodate my animal and her specific needs. I highly recommend his boarding facility. You can also drop your dog off for free play which is great for high energy animals. Scott truly understands that our fury baby doesn't want to be locked up in a crate all day and that's what sets the place apart from others. I just adopted a rescue 2 months ago. He is very scared of people...unfortunately there is no way of knowing what happened to him the first 4 months of his life. I expressed my concern with Scott about leaving he and my older dog (who has stayed there numerous times over the last year and Teo has groomed to perfection a dozen times by now) for my week long vacation and I can't say enough good things about Scott and his staff!! He had me bring them in for the past two days so that they can work with Tank (the scared puppy) to start feeling more comfortable with new people and won't feel abandoned when I leave for vacation! First off, I agree with Chan as the place does smell like urine. I used their bathroom and the smell was so strong that I wanted to vomit. The place smells worser than their prior location. Second, it's nice that they have webcams, however it's unfortunate that a staff member isn't in the room supervising and playing with the dogs hardly AT ALL. The staff mostly just go in there to clean or put the dogs up. My oldest dog had been going to this place for many, many years, but both no longer do thank goodness, I found a much better, top quality clean facility for them. The staff are literally with the dogs, playing with them all day, and they actually take the dogs on walks, which I think is so cool. The place doesn't stink of urine. My dogs and I are super excited that we found a much more comforting, professional place! The place is very affordable also. read more

I sincerely miss this place. When we lived in Dallas and had to travel out of town, I had no hesitation in leaving my pets here. My two small dogs ( who NEVER liked to leave my side) would start acting like psychos the second I turned into the parking lot and I'd have to make sure they were harnessed and leashed because they would jump out the vehicle in a rush to get there! Between the clean play areas, the friendly staff, and the nice little "hotel room" with a TV and camera for me to see them on, I couldn't have asked for more. Grooming only - my dog is not a difficult groom. I usually do it myself, but I don't like to clean out his ears or trim his nails, so I took him in for a full groom. The place was fine, although the urine smell is pretty strong when you first walk in. The staff was friendly, and seemed to genuinely care about the dogs. The groomer did a fine job, but nothing extrarodinary. I received a $45 ticket, and a "tip" line on my receipt. I don't pay that much for my own haircuts. My impression is that this is more of a daycare/boarding facility that offers grooming. It's too pricey for me. read more

Great place to take your dog! The staff members don't seem stressed and agitated like the staff at other dog places I've been to. The dogs actually get exercise and actually go home tired, like a dog daycare is suppose to do. Water is accessible to the dogs 24/7. Positive reinforcement is used with the dogs. When boarding, EVERY dog gets to play. Even if you have a dog aggressive dog, they get their own big play room! :D read more

I utilized Classy Canine's Doggy Daycare services for 3 weeks, less 1 day. There were 2 issues concerning care and due diligence on the part of the employees, which caused me to stop utilizing the daycare even though I had an unused day of daycare. 1) My puppy came home on 3 different occasions with sores along her backside. The employees claimed she was scooting along the floor and causing the painful sores. At one point, the sores were so bad that she would whimper for hours. She had not had these sores either before nor since her time at the daycare. I believe appropriate supervision/cleanliness/care was not given in order to protect her from another dog or some unhealthy condition within the daycare. I even provided baby wipes so that her bottom could be periodically cleaned, if needed, in order to appease their belief of the cause of the problem. 2) A large dog, who was being kept in the lobby area and allowed to roam freely, snapped at my puppy while a staff member was bringing her out to me. The following morning, the same directly approached my puppy as we came in the front lobby door and bit her, with staff standing right there and not reacting at all. Fortunately, the skin wasn't broken so no real physical damaged occurred, however, my concern was more about the lack of concern and action on the part of the staff members. I was told on both snapping/biting occasions, that this dog was the manager's dog, and was allowed the privilege of roaming free, as a result. There was no concern for ensuring proper safety of incoming animals. It is inexcusable to allow a dog who is cranky and bite-prone, to roam freely. This dog should have been placed into a proper kennel room, for the protection of the clients and their animals. It is for the reason that I did not allow my puppy to return to the daycare. I was also told that I would receive no refund for the final day of daycare, which had been purchased as a 15 day package, because it was a package amount. This seems unreasonable, as well, because the manager's dog and the insufficient handling by staff members caused me to no longer be comfortable allowing my pet to be cared for at this facility. I would not recommend using this facility and risking injury to your pet. read more

Was not happy with Owner Scott Craig. Took my two little guys in for their usual spa day. I could tell the owner was having a bad day after he popped off to me about not having my dog on a leash instead of giving me a hand or even saying good morning first. Yet every time I have taken them in before it was never a problem. Then I stood around while an employee checked me in and was filling out information in the computer they took the dogs back without saying a word and then came back and asked can I help you. Really!!! I am waiting for you to finish up my paper work so I can get to work. Never the less the owner and I had a long conversation on the phone. I came and got my dogs and will not be back. There are too many companies in the surrounding area that offer the same service and great customer service. It's Thanksgiving week and I got an appointment same day at The Boarding Bungalow. I take my pup here to get groomed by Tio. He is the absolute best. I have tried a million places for my hairy dog but no one has been as gentle, kind and detailed than Tio. My dog has anxiety so Tio will snuggle him when I drop him off to get comfortable and as soon as he's done, I get a phone call to pick him up. Also, if it's raining outside, Tio will meet you at your car to grab your dog so you don't have to get wet! Before my little guy developed anxiety, we also used them for day care. Professional, clean, your dog doesn't leave smelling like pee, and the staff is so nice. Bonus that the cameras are actually high quality so you can watch your pup all day. The suites for boarding are nice too. Private cots with fans and TV's. If you're looking to spoil your dog, this is the place!! read more

We have been very pleased with Classy Canine and leaving our dog overnight. The webcam is a very nice feature to keep an eye on our dog. We went to pay today, over the phone, and they tried to "spring" an additional $5.00 "holiday fee" on us! This would take it to $40.00 a day, which is very expensive and may mean we look elsewhere. This place is great!! They allow the dogs to play all day and only bring them in to clean common, feed the dogs and of course at night. Other than that they can play all day. They offer daycare, overnight boarding and grooming. Right now they have a discount you can get through Twongo. If you go to Twongo.com you can purchase a voucher that is worth $50 for only $30. Good for any services. Vouchers must be purchases by 5/26/10 but can be used anytime through 8/30/10. I love Twongo they have great deals like this all the time! read more

I have been taking our dog to Classy Canine for about the past year for grooming and have always had a great experience. Today I forgot the correct shot records so they called my vet and verified the shots in a few seconds. I was in and out quickly and our dog has never looked better. It is also helpful that they will keep your pet after the grooming fo not extra charge so I can just drop off and pick up on my way to and from work. So happy I found this place! read more

I have taken one of my french bulldogs here multiple times. I was usually happy with the staff and service, though it is not the best place I have been. Over the christmas break and we took both of our dogs, one being a 5 month old puppy. I went to pick them up yesterday, which was actually a day early. My new puppy seemed lethargic as his right eye was covered with a dried and new eye goop. I asked the employee who worked there what was going on. He looked at me like I was crazy and said "it wasn't like that when you dropped him off?" Appalled, I said no. Then I asked if they knew how long it has been that way and if they had treated him at all...again, they said no. I said, well I guess we are making a trip to the vet...and his response was "let us know how it goes". Are you kidding me?? What topped it off was the total lack of attention they are paying to the animals as well as both of my dogs stinking of urine. After a painful visit to the vet and $500, we found out our puppy had severely torn his cornia and we have no idea how long it has been that way. He will be left with a partial blind spot. I know things happen at daycare...but I expect the people I leave them with to take the same care as I do in watching them. I am not one to rant on yelp, but I hate for this to happen to someone else. Never again will I trust these people. read more
