Absolutely delightful afternoon tea at Claudia's. Do yourself a favor and enjoy this special treat tucked into a quiet corner of North County in Carmel Valley.

We celebrated our daughter 10th birthday at Claudia's tea house, they decorated a cake and it was amazing. Ms Claudia is amazing with kids and all the kids were loving the delicious food, lemonade and the activities. Highly recommended for birthday parties. Thank you Ms Claudia for a perfect birthday

Claudia delivered a wonderful experience in a very trying time for our family. Our mother passed away unexpectedly and Claudia did our catering for her celebration of life. Highly recommend her. She is very professional, compassionate and she delivers! Loved her too

Claudia's tea house is a perfect place to have a special event. My mom and I hosted a baby shower for my sister here and it was wonderful! Claudia is so professional, kind, and very attentive to detail. The decor is beautiful and unlike any other tea house I have been to. The food is home made and absolutely delicious! We had a wonderful time and our whole party remarked how beautiful everything was and how much they enjoyed the food and tea experience! Thank you Claudia! We can't wait to come back !

Went here on Valentine's Day and had the best time. Claudia and the team did so much to make our morning special and the food was all absolutely amazing.

Amazing service and amazing food! The establishment has a smaller tea selection but they are very tasty, I came here with my husband for Valentine's Day and since it was a few days after - we had the whole place to ourselves! The food was incredible - really fresh and homemade - and the tea was lovely! The atmosphere is so sweet and the interior was pretty. It's in a residential neighborhood tucked away in the hills. I would definitely recommend this tea house!

I wanted to celebrate my 51st birthday at a tea room and was looking for a good place to have it. I came across Claudia's Teahouse on Instagram. The tearoom looked exquisite and was exactly what I was looking for. Decorated like what I envisioned a tea room should look like. Claudia made my birthday cake and it was absolutely beautiful! Nicely decorated and ample enough room for party of 15! It's a family owned business, and they provided us exceptional service! All my guests enjoyed themselves and will definitely seek out this tea room for any gatherings they may have in the future. The venue was challenging to find as it's located in a residential area. I assumed the business is located in a building not a residential area. There is ample parking on top of the hill and bottom of the hill nearest the property. I highly recommend this business!

We were looking to have a last minute tea party for my daughter's 6th birthday and we were so happy to find Claudia's! She was so accommodating! The little yellow tea house and garden were so cute! All the details and decorations were so fabulous: a pink phone booth, trinkets, tea sets, art. The food was incredible and all homemade by Claudia, our gracious host; she attended to our every need and was so warm and welcoming. The whole vibe of the place was so relaxed yet classically elegant and by the end of the tea party we felt like family with the other tables and Claudia. There were so many amazing photo ops too! We can't to go back for more tea parties, summer camps, and events. What a treasure!!!

We worked with Aubrey, and she answered all of out questions without issue and made sure we had the flavors and designs that we were happy with. She even helped us work with our florist for the flowers to arrange on the cake. Take a look at the photos and you'll see how beautiful the cake turned out, and how happy we were to cut into it.

Ordering was easy - I emailed her from her site with a few questions, picked a flavor, and told her some back story. Really, all I needed to say was that my bestie and I love Legally Blonde, then gave her a picture and a (somewhat personalized) quote to use, and let her take it from there with the design. She did SUCH a good job. My jaw dropped. It's perfect. And it was DELICIOUS. Most importantly, my best friend loved it and she had such a great time. Everyone loved the flavor (dark chocolate truffle) too, and we got some laughs on the quote. Thank you Aubrey for bringing the vision to life and executing it so perfectly!

This is the place to go in San Diego if you want a slice of luxury without the guilt. In short: get Le Signature, Le Noisette for a nutty flavor, and if they have it, The London Cake (think chocolate and caramel; currently obsessed with this one!!). Tip: Store cakes in a cold/cool place if not eaten immediately especially during a heatwave summer or you'll learn the hard way. Best eaten with unsweetened hot coffee. Here's the long review: Parfait Paris has been consistent with their cakes; I've been visiting them every time whenever I'm close to one for about 2 years. There are multiple locations; I've been to Carmel/Del Mar; Coronado, and Fashion Valley. I don't really stay to eat; I usually grab a couple of slices (avg price is $13/slice) and slowly savor it at home with black coffee. All I can say is that this bakery knows their flavors and textures. The bakery offers pastries, macarons, and other desserts but if you're undecided, get the cake. Esp if you love (like really love) chocolate. I've stuck to 2 cakes: Le Signature- has a light chocolate mousse filling with a shortbread crust and dark chocolate glaze. Le Noisette- an employee there once told me it was like a Ferrero Rocher but a cake version. Accurate description but so understated. The mousse filling is chef's kiss. The monthly special: The London Cake: it's definitely an upgraded version of a dark chocolate cake. Filled whipped caramel filling and chocolate cream; it was balanced and sweet but not in a way that makes your teeth scream. This is the cake that had me question all the chocolate cakes I've had in my life; and the one where I go back the next day, like literally drive the extra mile(s), to get another slice. A little bias here but I've tried the mango bliss cake in the past. Decent flavors and texture as described but not as impressed as their chocolate ones. I've had my fair share of eating lots of (chocolate) cake in SD and LA; this place is def always on my list.

It has real hazelnuts, hazelnut cream, and dark chocolate mix with hazelnut at the bottom. 10/10! And it's not too sweet either. Then I tried the savory croissant. It's a September special. Chicago croissant. Which is basically a pizza filling inside a croissant crust. It was delicious! I love the croissant crust! The staff was friendly as well!

I really enjoyed the cinnamon roll made with croissant dough and to be honest, the pain eu chocolate wasn't the freshest I've had, but I still enjoyed it OK. I wouldn't order that again, but I would definitely get the cinnamon roll again. That was one of the best ones I've had. I loved that it was made from croissant dough, which made it lighter and more flaky than most cinnamon rolls. I have high standards for croissants as I've been to France many times. :) The view that I got to enjoy these watching while sitting outside, made it such a great experience. Our personal favorite was the Be Mine Chocolate Strawberry. We had the August menu for our tea. There were 5 kids total, the youngest being 5 and the oldest being 11. All 5 of the kids thoroughly enjoyed this experience! The pirate map activity and the introduction were both great. I loved the enthusiasm of the owner, and appreciated that she really leaned into the fact that there were so many kids (the other party had two kids as well) and made adjustments to the intro and quiz questions for them. I wasn't sure whether to expect a fancy teahouse to cringe at the sight of so many kids around China, glasses, and hot teapots- But they seemed totally unbothered, and were very welcoming! The staff at Britannia has always been top notch and this was no different! It really was a fun tea and a fun way to share my love for tea with my kiddos! Parents, you know your kids! Your kiddo may be a bit too young/rambunctious for a teahouse, and that's OKAY. But if you think they'll get along well, it's a wonderful time with amazing staff to make the experience lovely! The teahouse itself is lovely, the decor is beautiful. Don't forget to check out the giftshop, there are so many things to see! The coconut cacao is my favorite, do try it!
