a wedding cake on a table

Kuba is so incredible! Erin and William and team were just absolutely fantastic during the whole process and created an amazing cake (and cookies) for us. We went with pecan sticky bun and chocolate hazelnut for the cake and lemon lavender and oatmeal raisin with walnuts for the cookies. So good and everyone loved all of the flavors!

We loved working with Erin from Kuba Kreations for our recent wedding! The cake was not only beautiful, but absolutely delicious. We had so many guests who mentioned how amazing the cake was! She also offered us dairy-free options, which were so good (but obviously, can't beat the real stuff). She was such a pleasure to work with and made the whole process easy and streamlined. We definitely recommend!

Erin is such a sweetheart. She is very detailed person which you can see it from all her work. Her cake is so beautiful. I consider myself a perfectionist, but she takes perfection to a new level. The flavors she made are very special, which will definitely impress your guests. The one I've got was Lemon Lavender and the sweetness is just right! Definitely recommend her

We are so happy Erin made our wedding cake. From the day we met her and tried her delicious cakes, we knew she was the one! Not only are her cakes delicious, her kreations are so meticulously designed and beautiful! We received so many compliments from our guests and other vendors since our cake complimented our wedding theme and was very unique. We can't wait to eat the top tier in a year! Thank you, Erin!

Was really happy with Kuba Kreations- they made a delicious half red velvet and lemon lavender cake for us for our wedding! They are reasonably priced, very responsive, and incredibly professional. Would recommend them for anyone looking for a delicious wedding cake!

We had Kuba Kreations for our cupcakes/cake for our wedding. From the moment we met Erin she was a gem to work with. She was so nice and responded quickly to our messages. We got lemon lavender and red velvet cupcakes for our guests and lemon lavender for our bride/groom cake. The lemon lavender was our favorite! So moist and not too overly sweet. It was perfect! I definitely recommend Kuba for any special occasion!

We got married last week and Erin Kuba made our cake. We absolutely loved it and so did our guests. Many people told us that while they usually don't love cake, they loved our cake and even had more than one slice. Erin was super friendly and responsive. I highly recommend her company.

Kuba did all of the desserts for our wedding and they were absolutely amazing. The entire experience with Erin was pleasant, efficient, tasty and beautiful. Erin was super sweet and easy to work with. She was always professional and made choosing our setup so easy! The desserts all tasted so amazing, I was surprised we went with a banana flavor for our wedding cake but it was that delicious. We also got cupcakes to complement the cake and hundreds of cookies as well as the chocolate mousse cups. Every. Single. Dessert was consumed. All of our guests raved about the desserts and went back for multiple rounds. My husband ended up polishing off the rest of our 1-tier cake (pictured below) at 2am after we got back from our wedding after-party and then went back in for more cookies. Thank you Erin and Kuba Kreations, you're the best!

My beautiful wedding cake and amazing grooms cake! The guests thought it was real sushi! Knocked it out of the park!

I don't even know where to start!! I had a destination wedding in Vista, CA and it couldn't have gone any smoother or more perfect!! Kuba Kreations was SO friendly and easy to work with! She answered all of my questions and brought my dream wedding cake, a sushi themed grooms cake, and dessert bar to life!! The cakes not only looked amazing, but tasted just as amazing!! I had the flavors of lemon lavender, birthday cake, and strawberries and cream, all of which are equally amazing! Also, she made the best mini chocolate cupcakes for us and salted caramel chocolate chip cookie sandwiches with buttercream centers, the guests LOVED those!!! I can't say enough good things about my experience! I will definitely use them again for future events!!

    Nearly naked, chocolate hazelnut :)

We recently used Kuba Kreations for our wedding cake and could not be more happy with the results. Erin was great to work and communicate with and obviously very talented at what she does! We could have gone with any flavor that we tasted and been happy, but we eventually decided on the chocolate hazelnut (SO good) and received so many great reviews from everyone. She created a nearly naked cake for us and it was perfect! Thank you Erin! :)

If you need baked goods, you need Kuba Kreations. I contacted Erin for a 50th birthday celebration. She is incredibly responsive, conscientious, and kind. She created the perfect design for our Chinese Zodiac Fire Horse theme. The cake was moist and full of almond flavor and the artistic decorations were stunning. Her fresh fruit tarts with cream cheese custard were as delicious as they were beautiful. The birthday girl checked out several French Bakeries in the SD area and could not find a fruit tart she liked. I was lucky to find Erin because everyone including my very particular friend raved about the thick cookie like crust, creamy filling, and gorgeous fruit on top. Thank you Erin! You made our celebration wonderful. Your desserts with a champagne toast at sunset - it doesn't get better than that!

It flaked beautifully and was buttery. I was surprised to hear it was $6.50 because it's the same price I paid for a specialty latte here. I would have expected a croissant (chocolate or plain) to be in the $4.25-$5.50/$5.75 range. I guess everything in Sky Deck is a little more expensive than what you'd expect-- maybe because of the cost they have to pay to rent the space. The workers were kind to give me space and time to check over the menu. Like I mentioned last time, the font is a bit small. It would be nice to have printed & laminated menus at the counter space as well for people. I think next time I come I would love to order a crêpe-- the sucre au citron caught my eye because it's a classic! I was surprised to see that they didn't offer salted caramel crêpe though. That would be so delicious as a "fall special" ... it would be great with banana or pear or even apple! They have a lot of other choices for pastries, desserts, and food! Since it's located in Sky Deck they have an abundance of seating available right in front of the shop as well as outside and down below near other businesses.

The sourdough was perfectly baked with a hearty, wheat-like flavor, a wonderful crust, and that fresh artisan quality that's hard to find. One suggestion: I regularly use Kerrygold butter from Ireland with my sourdough at home, and the rich, creamy flavor is incredible. I highly recommend trying it with Lucky Bolt's sourdough--it makes an already excellent loaf taste even more amazing. There were so many other pastries that looked delicious, so I'll definitely be coming back--probably early in the morning--to get the best selection.
