Stopped by Batch & Box Signature Cookies while walking around the Del Mar Highlands Town Center and it was a solid dessert stop. The shop is tucked into a quiet corner of the center and has a clean, cozy, slightly nostalgic feel to it. Everything looked well kept and inviting, and the cookie display definitely pulls you in. The cashier was genuinely friendly and welcoming, which always makes the experience better. We ordered the classic chocolate chip and the Dubai cookie. Both were really well done with soft centers, great texture, and not overly sweet. You can taste the quality of the ingredients, especially the chocolate. The Dubai cookie stood out with its richer, more indulgent flavor, but the classic chocolate chip was just as satisfying. An easy spot to pop into for a treat while shopping or to grab cookies to-go. Absolutely Delicious Cookies Here! No hype, the real deal. Love their branding personality. I love how you can see their baking space through the large plate glass window behind the register area. The girl at the counter was super sweet, well groomed, very knowledgeable about the cookies and process to make some of their cookies and was so patient with all the questions my elderly mother and myself asked. I can't remember her name but she was there on Monday 12/29 around 4 or 5pm. I only wish they had sugar free options made with Monkfruit!!! read more

I love Batch & Box! I always go with the classic chocolate chip cookies, and they never disappoint. I've also tried their sugar cookie and snickerdoodle, which are both pretty tasty. The best part is how soft they are in the middle, with the perfect chew and a lightly crisp exterior. The service is always friendly, too. This location is in Del Mar Highlands Town Square, which makes it convenient when you're shopping and craving a sweet cookie treat. Another bonus is the ample parking. read more

Stopped by here during a post-dinner walk. I'm a cookie fiend, but have been let down at other SD cookie spots more than once due to their focus on style over taste and non-homemade, uniform consistency. Batch & Box stands out above the other cookie chains. The flavor combinations are interesting, you can taste fresh fruit and creative textural elements, and the cookies appear handmade. The cookie texture itself is somewhat odd - - thick, a bit dry in some spots and moist in others but at least it doesn't taste mass produced. The Pink Lady, featuring strawberry chunks and white chocolate swirls, was my favorite followed closely by the zany, marshmallow topped pumpkin chocolate chip cookie. read more

During a girls trip to San Diego, for a concert, we stopped to eat an early dinner before arriving at the venue. After leaving dinner, the group agreed we needed "just a little something sweet". Several in the group wanted ice cream, but I am a sucker for a warm gooey cookie and happened to see Batch & Box. I can pass up ice cream any time but not a good cookie. While I waited for my friends to order their ice cream, I watched a steady stream of customers go in and out of this cookie store. Although I had never heard of this place before, I could tell they are a big hit in this area. So I jumped in line and was so happy I did! It is hard to tell by looking at their cookies that they are soft and gooey inside because they are a thick and tall mound of a cookie. No thin, flat cookies here. But trust me, if you like a soft cookie with melting chocolate bits/chips/morsels this is a must get when in the area. I am a big fan of an oatmeal chocolate chip cookie and their Oaty Chip is in my top 3 of all time. Despite its heaping mound of dough, this cookie is NOT raw inside. The rolled oats, dark chocolate morsels (not semi-sweet) and sea salt is decadent. Two of us shared this cookie and the sounds of delight coming from our mouths was almost inappropriate! We had melted dark chocolate all over our fingers and the cookie was so soft that I couldn't safely get my phone out to take a picture. I was not going to drop any cookie bits. Although the cookie experience did not last as long as my friend's ice cream, it was by far, the best sweet treat ever! My only complaint is there is not a Batch & Box in my area. read more

We got half a dozen for $25 and tried The Classic x2, The Doodle, The Oaty Chip, The Pink Lady, and The Sugar. All were tasty, thick, and chunky. Crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside and they don't skimp on ingredients! My favs were the Pink Lady, as you can really taste the strawberries and it was a good amount of sweetness, and the Doodle, a classic snickerdoodle that wasn't overly sweet. Tried their new Dubai chocolate cookie. $2 more than a regular cookie. Rich, dense, lots of pistachio flavor. It was tasty and fun to try - but ultimately I think their regular chocolate chip cookie is more satisfying. The cookies at Batch & Box delicious and gourmet. The gluten free chocolate chip cookie is soft, buttery, and stuffed to the max with chocolate chips. I appreciate that the gluten free cookies are wrapped separately to prevent cross contamination. The shop is small mostly used for pickup but is modern and clean. I do wish sometimes there would be a different flavor for the allergen friendly option because I'm jealous of all the other amazing flavors my husband gets to try! read more

I was looking for a gluten free desert for my friend. Unfortunately she's also allergic to nuts so she wasn't able to get anything since it was made with almond flour. I still got a few items. The cashier girl was nice and give me options but personally I wasn't wowed. The Dubai chocolate brownie was so small literally just a bite. The strawberry and cream cheese cookie I felt wasn't cooked well enjoy because it kept breaking down into pieces. I've never been to Batch & Box before and now I definitely will want to try their other flavors! While I'm skeptical of a pricy cookie, these are better than their other cookie competitors. I can see why it was busy on a Sunday night! We picked up the chocolate and peanut butter chip cookie and oat and chocolate chip cookie. Both were perfectly baked inside and out and a thiccc cookie! This is an elevated cookie shop located at the corner of Del Mar highlands near Jimbo market. It's right next to Handel's Ice Cream. It's perfect, cookies and ice cream! The decor is modern minimalistic. The place is clean . There's a large window to see inside their kitchen. Person who helped me was very patient. She went over the entire list of cookies they have. Only certain cookies are warmed up. Otherwise, they come out cold and hard. I got the seasonal Tiramisu cookie. While it was 2 cookies with a filling, it was hard. Perhaps I could've waited for it to be at room temp since it had just come out of the fridge. For the price I paid, I thought it was just OK. My son got the doodle warmed up and it was pretty good! Batch & Box serves up some of the best cookies in La Jolla and Del Mar. Their Chocolate Chip Cookie is a masterpiece. What sets it apart is the combination of milk and dark chocolate chips. I'm not the biggest milk chocolate fan yet having a mix of the two elevated the cookie significantly. It was chocolatey and gooey heaven and I often crave this cookie. I also love their Cocoa PB cookie, which has peanut butter morsels. I can't get enough and highly, highly recommend! read more

There are some nice fresh bits of candied ginger (I think) so you get both the classic sugary soft gingerbread in cookie form. A must have during the season! Peppermint chocolate. Whenever I'm visiting this shopping center it's hard not to stop by Batch & Box for a box of their cookies. They have some incredible flavors and the cookies are always fresh and delicious. I love the classic, and the Dubai chocolate is amazing as well. Honestly you can't go wrong with any of them. I love that they have seasonal cookies as well. Batch & Box is one of my favorite dessert spots in San Diego. Although it can be quite the drive coming from south San Diego, their cookies are worth it - most of the time. I enjoy that they keep their cookie menu interesting by doing two seasonal cookies per month. However, one area that this location lacks (compared to their La Jolla location) is that they do not offer samples (or at least the times I have visited, they do not have them). In a way, it's a bit disappointing because I'd like to be able to try a new flavor before committing to the full cookie. For example, the dubai chocolate cookie (seasonal for month of June) was exceptionally delicious. The key lime cookie, on the other hand, wasn't my personal favorite. I wished I had try a sample first, and I would have gotten two dubai instead. read more

I rarely give 5 stars but this cookie shop 100% deserves it because you can taste the high quality ingredients used! My absolute favorite is the Dubai chocolate cookie and the regular chocolate chip. Everything else I feel is too sweet. The Dubai chocolate cookie is filled with crispy Praline giving it a nice texture and cutting the sweetness by a little (would taste even better if less sugar was used as the sweetness can take away from the flavor) and the chocolate chip cookie is classic but amazing taste and consistency probably bc their cookies a thicker so the center is more moist. You def can't compare these cookies to other shops but it makes Crumbl cookies look like Walmart cookies, (actually Walmart cookies probably taste better than Crumbl still) The cookies are a MUST TRY!!!! read more

Saturday night my wife and I went to get a couple of cookies to go. The girl behind the counter gave each cookie in its own paper sleeve instead of a box. It was very hard to carry to the car. If you've never visited a Batch and Box- get to the nearest location immediately. Always clean, and you can see their prep-kitchen as you're browsing their cookies. These are the BEST cookies and we are fortunate to be in their hometown. If you're out of town, they ship! Service here is amazing- haven't had a bad experience. I am the first person to scoff at all the cookie shops popping up and all the hype. I can make my own cookies and they're quite good if I do say so myself. But Batch Box... hats off to you. Your chocolate chip is a gift. I have done serious damage to a sampler box and I view these as a special treat. When I go to Snapdragon I must have one and the staff is great. It's expensive for a cookie but it is pretty special! read more

The online ordering was a breeze and within 15 minutes we had our cookies in hand. The outside pick up place was full of other cars and there no additional space. I contacted the store and the kind lady met me outside to hand us the cookies. What excellent service! We ordered the classic (the classic! delicious!), the doodle (very cinnamon-y), the gentleman (very rich), the pink lady (our favorite), the wonder (yummy!), and the seasonal matcha berry (our least favorite, and I love matcha). Overall I enjoyed these cookies but found them just a tad bit dry.. it could also be because we picked them up at the end of the day.
