Kids had fun. The person working the desk, Robert was super nice and helped our kid after they failed multiple times for a stuffed demon slayer toy. He made it easier for them and gave them tips. Also he was nice and threw in a few free play for them. Between 2 kids and 4 adults we spent a lot... $150.... Eeep. But it was fun and it's not something we do that often. It's 0.25 cent a credit unless you spend 30 and up. If you spend 50 or more it becomes 0.20 a credit. The machines range from 4 credits to 12 credits. They allow you to trade the prizes in the same machine if you wanted a different one. Also they have a trade up program. The kids traded 7 of the stuffies won for a stitch stuffed backpack. The picture included : Stitch backpack traded in for 7 stuffies. The Sanrio small balls were gifts for spending more than $10 for each card we purchased (4 cards total) . Located on the second floor of the montebello mall. I took my cousins here as a late Christmas present as we have been addicted to claw machines lately. They had a promotion running for the holidays where you got a large pikachu plush with the purchase of $100 in credits. Most of the games were about 8-14 credits. We found that the claws were pretty strong compared to some other arcades, which made it a bit easier to win prizes if you aimed it correctly. It still is a bit tough for younger kids but it is a fun time and the credits disappear quickly. The one issue we had was the claw bumping into the back acrylic pieces that held the spare plushies. We wasted about 3-5 turns on accident because of that. They also have a wall of different plushes that aren't found in the machines that you can trade in for. read more

This place is great !! My kiddo wanted to check it out and he had a blast, won a bunch of cool plushies and traded them in for some pretty cool headphones. The employee there went completely above and beyond. From the start she taught us how to play each machine and gave us cool tips. I have been having an obsession with claw machines recently and this place seriously did not disappoint. I have been to round 1 and this other claw arcade in Arcadia, but they pale in comparison to this place. I was in CLAW HEAVEN to say the least. The best part about this place besides the awesome prizes is the owner, Rob--he is super chill and generous, and if you ask if they have a certain product in the back they will go out of their way to help you look for it. I came just for the cinnamon roll but they didn't have it but they had some in the back so I traded my prizes for those ones. Used to not having great luck with claw machines. This place is surprisingly good. Claw Arcade in Torrance was about $1 per play or 50 cents for small toys. Here it's about 10-12 credits which is about 2.5-3 per play. That price made me nervous at first but the odds I feel are much better. The machines don't shake as much when picking up and have rubber tips that seem to help with grip. The toys seem reasonably sized to fit the size of the claw grabbing. Did the $30 for 150 credits. I feel this place has great chances at winning something. The prizes are not bad. Not as great as Claw Arcade but much better odds. The woman staffing was really nice. Friendly, gave tips and they allow exchange where if you pick up a prize you can exchange for another in the machine. A huge bonus in my book so you don't have to waste so much to grab something you want but instead go with highest odds and exchange. Definitely recommend, especially if you feel discouraged of the odds and prizes of other crane game places read more

This place is definitely a diamond in the rough. Hidden in a little corner of the Montebello Mall, it's small, yet quaint and inviting. When you walk in you automatically see what most places would describe as machines as defeat. But not Claw Daddy. Here, you have the option of using machines that might cost a little more, but yield much better results in the winning department. When we walked in, we were greeted by Mari, Brie and Edwin. Off the bat they were very attentive, informative and most of all, incredibly welcoming. Mari explained the cards and games, while Edwin explained the trade in process. (A couple small toys for a bigger one). Bri came up to us a few times making sure we were doing well and always had a smile on her face. They all did. My niece, a 3 year old, absolutely loved it. She was in awe with the variety of plush toys and machines. The lighting was a nice stimulus for her as well. We very much enjoyed Claw Daddy and its outstanding employees. So much fun and the staff is dope! I met the owner and he's the hypeman you want when playing arcade games! Him and his staff gave tips on how to win prizes and explained how to trade up plushies. So even if you win some plushies you aren't as fond of, you can trade up for select prizes at the counter. If you buy $10 of credits, you get a free keychain, which they have a wide selection of. They have a rope cutting machine where you can win a PS5 or jumbo Pikachu! Sadly, i got there just after someone won the pikachu but even so, you could trade up to a jumbo pikachu for 20 plushies! Their double tap on the machines is really good and they have really good grip. I got a kuromi plush on my first try! Just ask the staff to help move a plush in the machine if its in a "dead zone" because they want you to win. Prices are reasonable, machines are clean, prizes are good quality and get restocked before the weekends. Definitely coming back! read more

My family has had a bit of a claw arcade addiction ever since we visited one in Las Vegas. We have been trying to track down an arcade that gives us that same euphoric feeling. Claw Daddy has been the closest to our favorite arcade. It is located inside of a mall. Not too crowded. This arcade is not as easy to win prizes as the one from Las Vegas but we still walked away with a few plushies. One thing that made this arcade stand out from the rest is that they allow you to exchange your prize with anything else inside the same claw machine. The only exception is the boxes/figurines and such as you can only trade an item within that machine with a similar value. Like other claw arcades, you have the option to trade up your smaller prizes for a larger prize. The staff was very friendly, attentive, and helpful. New fun small arcade inside the montebello town center! If you love claw machines, this place is just for you. I thought the choice of plushies were better good. They have sanrio, disney, and anime plushies which is good for the younger crowds and even the older ones. This place is smaller to round 1 where they use a game card to play the claw machines. There is 1 machine to purchase/reload the game cards and honestly when it gets busy (mostly during weekends), there is a line to wait for the machine. As for the claw machines themselves, it seems fairly simple to win after just a couple of tries. I saw a little boy winning so many plushies and he was very happy about it. This is the second time I have taken my daughter here and I must say, the staff is amazing! My daughter is 5 and she managed to win some prizes on her own!
