We did not end up purchasing a car from them because we repeatedly asked to test drive a brand new car and my wife and I sensed hesitation by the sales staff to allow us to put miles on their brand new cars. Repeatedly the salesman bought us up used cars to drive. Do they think I'm stupid lol?!? I've never experienced this before but I got the strong impression that the staff did not want us in the "brand new" cars racking up miles. Maybe because we weren't serious enough? This was a bad decision on their part because we went straight out to Jerry seiner where we purchased our new 2019 Chevy Silverado. Stopped by today to check out the 1500 with Duramax. Made it clear we had a mortgage refinance closing this week, and would purchase a truck immediately after close, but we did not want to change any aspect of our financial picture before then. This was communicated to the sales person and sales manger. Loved the truck, told Ralph would work a deal up on Thursday post close. For an email soon after leaving saying they had received and run our credit. We gave NO credit info, so was shocked so emailed back and asked for verification that they had, which we got. I then emailed and called and asked to speak with a manager just to make sure this was an email in error. Even though we had a commitment for a call back in 15 minutes, we are five hours later and no call. Long story short avoid at all costs. Question ethics and business practices! read more

Pre-owned side "Randy" told me they wouldn't do business with me since i was not buying today. That "when im ready to buy i can come back and then they will offer me business" Had 28k to put towards the jeep i wanted but since i said id like to wait and they said they "couldn't do anything for me their ONLY looking for business." Would not recommend bringing your car here for service at all! LONG STORY BUT WORTH READ I brought my used car here for service that I (purchased from here by the way) at 7 AM in the morning! First thing the representative said was that my car was out of warranty because it was over 60,000 miles. Mind you I got the car at 60,000 miles. That was beside the point because I still had the warranty when the rep had the energy to finally check for it. Off the bat, he told that a $230 diagnostic fee would be charged for each problem that I showed up with which is insane by the way. He told me that if I didn't go through with the service I wouldn't have to pay anything. Please remember this. I was like fine I just want to figure out what's the issue with my car and we will go from there. I left my car that morning and didn't hear anything until 3 pm. The dealership as a whole closes at 7 pm. I had to go there on my own just to see what was wrong with my car. I get there and my rep is just standing there no emotion on his face . He gets me into his little outside booth and we discuss my options. He tells me that my warranty is in the process of accepting my repairs and I would just pay my deductible. A quarter till six and he tells me that an inspector may have to look at my car and if my car isn't here then it won't get fixed. That's no problem in my eyes but what about my means of transportation? This is where it gets good! Before I even handed my keys over that morning I asked my rep did the dealership do loaner cars. He immediately said no. I asked about it again when I got there later that day. He said they didn't have any available out of the 11 cars they had... I couldn't believe my ears. Out of the whole day we had he's telling me fifty different things. At this point I don't feel safe with my car being in his hands. Immediately I stop talking to him because he's no help. I went inside to management and he's claiming that he told me everything I needed to know from the beginning. I couldn't help but laugh at this point. Now I'm stuck with spending extra money out of pocket for miscommunication with the whole dealership. At this current moment I still have no car or updates on my vehicle. And it's been almost 48 hours. Currently still going out of my way to get updates on my car that I pay almost a grand a month on! Thank you Young Chevrolet for nothing! Update: now my car has transmission problems after getting my car fixed here. Avoid this place at all costs and don't even bother getting a Chevrolet car as they all brought me problems in the past. read more

I recently had trouble getting my key out of the ignition which indicated that the battery was starting to go bad so I immediately took it to Young Chevrolet. The battery still had a few months warranty left on it and they honored that and replace the battery. I only paid for labor. The service was excellent and I'll be taking all future issues with my Chevy HHR to them plus taking care of maintenance things to keep it running well. Thank you for the great service! I purchased a new Colorado in Feb. This past weekend, my check engine light came on so I took it in Monday morning. The vehicle has less than 4,000 miles on it. They then tell me they don't know what the code is so they'll need to contact GM to figure out how to fix it. I requested a loaner, was informed that they didn't have one available. So, I said I could "figure it out" for one day. It's been three days, they still don't know what's wrong with my truck and are still telling me, "we don't have a loaner". I couldn't give lower then 1 star but it would be no stars You're EV tech must be very green or just looking for green from customers. His only RECOMMENDATION was for a battery replacement. There was no other option like software update. So I left with the same issue and the error not cleared with very little power left on my battery. So I paid $230 for no solution and no software update. It is at another dealership and the tech there said it just needs the software update. I will be posting this review on EVERY site I can to warn others about this dealership. I think the full refund of my payment is in order since there was not a thing and I really doubt he even looked at my vehicle read more

I purchased a 2025 Trailblazer at Young Chevrolet (Dallas) on May 31, 2025, trading in my 2020 Camaro with $4,000 down. The vehicle was defective and damaged. The body shop kept my vehicle without contacting me in the 7 day return grace period, forcing me to get another vehicle that carried a higher monthly payment than originally agreed. Recently went into the Young Chevrolet, auto parts, department, in Dallas, off of I 30. I was looking specifically for a sunshade made for a Chevy suburban. They had some in a display that you could pick up and walk to the counter and pay for. As we waited in a very short line that took a very long time, the clerk behind the window indicated that I would have to go wait in another line to get a salesman to write up an invoice for the item that had the price already on it. I wrecked my car on 10/01/2023. It is still ,in young Chevrolet's service dept. Every time we have called to check on it, they say it's gonna be another 1 & 1/2 to 2 weeks. And every time the reason is different. They have called me 1 time to give me an update. Then when "I" call them, they act like it's an inconvenience to tell me something or they just lie!! I found the car I'd been looking for and drove from Houston to Young Chevrolet in Dallas to get it. Brock was a great salesman. (SCRATCH THAT...SEE BELOW) The financing experience has been a bit excruciating. I bought the car on April 26th and have yet to receive a copy of my signed paperwork despite repeated requests to Finance Manager Eddie Vasquez. I feel like I ended up with a bunch of "add on" fees but can't confirm since I have yet to receive the paperwork. I waited for hours for finance despite a good credit score and felt rushed to be able to sign so I could leave and drive back to Houston. I can't say I recommend this dealership. UPDATE: Finally received a photocopy of the original documents. What happened to the originals? Oh yeah noticed repaired damage where the car was wrecked despite the fact that my salesman told me it had a clean car fax. My bad for not asking for the hard copy of the car fax. Got a quote on a vehicle. Told them I was having a hard time affording the payment they offered. I was told with your credit you either need to put more down or buy a cheaper car. I said well how much cheaper will it be if you took off all the dealer coverages which I don't necessarily need of $3800 plus tax. Never heard back. So I guess they will only give you quotes if you buy their protection. Seem nice in the beginning but don't seem to want to help unless you have money in hand. You couldn't ask for a better Salesperson than Sheddrick very solid guy however the operation there is shady to say the least. You can tell management gets a kick out of leaving customers in small congested rooms to sweat it out and feel like they've invested so much time you just have to make deal. To top it off my wife and I had come in and set very clear expectations on what our budget was and they came out with all kinds of hidden fees. At one point 3 hrs into the ordeal I popped my head into managers office as he had our salesman in there for the 4th time and told them we had to go home and get our kids ready but they had my info and could process everything over phone if we could make a deal. This ragged looking "manager" stands up and says "yeah we ain't gonna call you" .... "if you walk out that door our deal is off the table". Who treats a customer like that?!?!? I would not recommend. I had a car diagnosed and repaired here. Once picking it up after the fix; they left a loose door to the cabin air intake laying behind the battery...I'm super glad it didn't fall to any moving parts. They had the car filthy, bird poop and some grease/tar they left on the car after working on it and the sun baked it into the paint. I had electrical work they said would fix issues but they had to jump it for me to leave, and even after driving around awhile to let the alternator kick in, it was dead immediately after parking it... I can't get doors to open, I can't roll up the window.. nothing. Really just sloppy work and no attention to details. I can understand it's hot and you may be busy, but if your not able to give attention to the vehicles... hire more service or take less cars at once; don't just hop your customer. .....lastly it's great for new car buys the lot is nice and shaded, but no shade for the service repaired cars??? Like they only care about selling and looking nice and new but don't bring your car back because then there is no care in their facility or workmanship. read more
