They switched my tire as needed and I was good for that evening but I still had a flat on the tire they just replaced the next morning. so after removing the tire itself I could see what they sold me. DO NOT GO HERE! I had a screw in my tire and they gummy patched it, basically not doing it properly and my tire goes down 10+ PSI every 2 days. I asked them if they could repatch it maybe and they put in another screw. I told them just to put the tire back on because at this point they're just not gonna let up. Then the worker goes, "Whether you like it or not that will be 15 dollars!". They literally put in another screw so they could take it out and they tried to charge me just for taking the wheel off. Now I have to patch and repatch the tire myself. They're unprofessional as possible and i'd only go there if you want to get scammed. read more

I have used this tire place forever. They make tire stuff easy!, Low tire, they'll fill it up, FREE. I don't know how many guys work there but you drive up, one of them signals where to park, you stay in your car and in a few minutes they've magically fixed your problem. Would like to make the public, especially women aware of C & M Tire and Muffler/Discount Tires off of 11912 Elam rd. Balch Springs, TX 75180 I went in Sunday 9/1/2024 to have my 235/40 R18(already a smaller tire size than it should be) moved from my front driver side to my back driver side and then I paid $50 for a new 245/40 R18(the correct size that is on three of my wheels) to be put on my front. Saw the front was good and assumed great I can go. Labor Day I lost tire pressure and checked to find a 215/40 R18 on my rear driver side. Uh hello? Where is MY tire and to put such a drastically smaller tire is obviously negligent, shady and potentially dangerous. I have children in my car. Tuesday 9/3/2024 I went back to the shop to discuss this with the employees and ask where MY tire was. One man first tried to say I bought two tires and the 215/45 R18 is what I paid for along with the correct 245/40 R18 in the front.. I informed him how I would never buy such a small tire and I have the receipt for only purchasing one tire, he then said I came in with the 215/45 R18..... Lol, oh so y'all are gaslighting and taking advantage of women by assuming naivety. I bought the 235/40 R18 a week ago... I know what's on my car, especially because it was already the wrong size to begin with. I asked to review the cameras with him to prove who's right, as I have the receipt and time stamp. He refused and then proceeded to ignore me in the rain and walk off- while a shop of five grown men whom all watched me argue and understood seemingly perfect enough to be amused; all claim to suddenly not speak English anymore and ignore me. I came in to get a new tire and there was a woman in line in front of me. They told her that her vehicle didn't pass inspection and explained why. She pulled some cash out of her purse and handed it to the guy. He then slid paperwork her way and said "ok you're all set, your car has passed." A little shady if you ask me, but clearly they need the money. I came in with a flat and asked if they carried the tire I needed. They didn't have the tire I needed so I paid $10 to have them put the spare tire on my car so I could get to my regular tire store. When I went to leave my old tire wasn't in my car. When I asked the guy where it was he pointed towards his garage and said "didn't think you wanted it." 1)my wheel was still on it and 2) I told him I wanted the tire so my tire place could look at it to see if it can be patched since it's under warranty. It made me incredibly uncomfortable, as if he was trying to get away with taking my tire and wheel. I won't be back here. Not my kind of place. Came to this location since I was in the area, there are many others scattered and the one I usually go to is on Walnut. Was greeted fast and helped, there were a few customers before me and I did not mind the wait. It took a good while, but figured out that the reason they took long was that the first tire was no good. The individual that put the tire on was diffrent from the one who initially helped me out. The man kindly explained that the first one had more tread but once inflated had a ball. I do beleive it was a bit pricey for a used tire. Went to get my inspection done, was told my car wouldn't pass due to a light. being a woman, I always ask questions because they didn't explain to me exactly why my car wouldn't pass. They told me it'll be $120 cash only which was strange to me. I didn't feel right so I left & went to a different shop. When I got there, I explained to the guys there what the guy at C & M told me about a light in my car. They said the light just indicated I needed an oil change, not that my car wouldn't pass inspection. I was so upset with C & M and have reported them to BBB for trying to scam me into paying for something I didn't have to. My family has been going to them for years just to ruin it. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CAR UNATTENDED WHILE THEY WORK ON IT, THEY WILL TAKE YOUR VALUABLES. As long as you keep and eye on them while they're in your car everything should be ok. I had left money in plain sight to give to the gentleman that would help me pump air into my tires when they finish doing the oil change in my car. After they put air in, I go to grab the money and it's no longer there. That money was going to be their's anyway but they decided to go ahead and take it without me knowing. I pretended to look around away from the car hoping that one of them would act like "oh, I found it, it was on the floor," but no one came out. In times of doubt I would keep my mouth shut and give them the benefit of the doubt. In this case they straight up just stole the money from my car while I wasn't watching. Good thing I took my wallet with me when I left the car. This is my "trusted" neighborhood tire shop. I hate to think what else they have taken from me in the past visits. I went here today for my state inspection and this is where I take my car every single year. I absolutely love this place. I didn't think many people knew about it. Today when I was there I ran into a friend of mine I used to work with. She was sitting outside with her son waiting for them to fix her flat. She mentioned to me that she always goes to C&M for everything and had been using them for awhile. We talked for about 15 minutes catching up. Then the guy who works at the front desk came out and told me my car was ready. I said what??? I hadn't even checked in yet. That's the kind of service you can expect here. This place is amazing and I highly recommend it without any reservations. The staff is extremely friendly and they take excellent care of their customers. Do not trust what seems to be fast and friendly customer service! I was looking to replace two front tires with better, used tires to drive to Houston to visit family after the holidays. I wanted used since we are looking to trade in our car soon. I was referred by the guys who change my oil next door, so I was thinking that C & M Discount Tires was an honest and trusted business that would take care of me. When I drove up I saw a Cooper Tires sign and someone immediately rushed out to assist me, so thought I was in the right place. I asked for two used tires better than the ones I had, and the service person smiled and said he had just that and would be finished in 20 minutes. The used tires were $45 a piece ($90 total) so I thought that they would still have some tread. When I left, I was in local 40 mile per hour traffic so I didn't think anything of them, until the next day when our family got on the interstate to Houston. The car started shaking when driving at a speed of 55 mph or faster. It was New Year's Day so all the local shops along the interstate were closed. We had to drive 45 mph on the interstate all the way to Huntsville to a Firestone and they wouldn't touch the tires since the thread was bald. We continued on our way to Houston where we ended up having to purchase two new tires at NTB. When I called the manager at C&M and explained what happened, he could care less and told me that he doesn't give refunds only an exchange-- as if I would trust anything they had to offer, and at this point, we didn't need tires since we just purchased two at $249 a piece. So these $90 used tires ended up costing $590. read more

I had a blow out in my front left tire while I was driving home from work. I really don't like going to Discount Tires, NTB, or Pep Boys because they're usually packed and you have to wait at least an hour to even get your car inside the garage to be worked on. I dunno why more people don't go to the Hispanic run tire shops... They have have guarantees, pretty cheap tires, and quick service. I didn't even have to pull into the garage. These guys are great!! They work fast and are very helpful. After buying a new set of tires, they quickly noticed the lugnuts a previous owner put on were too short. They replaced them for free! An honest mechanic is worth his weight in gold. I have been using C&M for several years for my tire repair needs, and have always been very pleased with the service. Recently, I thought I'd give them a try for an oil change. I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee 4X4 that takes seven quartz of synthetic oil, and they were willing to change the oil and filter for $60-- a fair price. While they were working on the car, the oil plug jammed, and in their efforts to get it out, they stripped it and ruined the oil pan. When I asked them to fix it, they explained that they did not do that kind of repair work, so I had the car towed to my regular mechanic-- another honest one-- who repaired it. To replace the oil pan on this kind of Jeep requires removing almost the entire front end (an incredible feat of engineering! LOL!). $350 in parts and $650 in labor. Needless to say, I was sick to my stomach, and was afraid I would have to have a major conflict to get reimbursed. But, when I talked to the manager, he was honest. He asked me a few questions to make sure I wasn't trying to rip HIM off, and then said, "If my men did this, I will repay you. Give me a couple of days. I will call you." He called back two days later and said he had my money. Sure it was an unnecessary and expensive mistake, but the way the manager handled it has earned them my loyalty from now on! read more

I just left this shop. I went there looking for used tire since my tire has a slow leak. I pull in, a guy (didn't get his name) comes to my van. I tell him what I need. He ask new or used? I say used. He quotes me $45 each. I tell him I got my last used tire for $35. He says "fuck 35" and walks away. Fuck 35 to a customer. No haggling or negotiating with me. Just walks away. Don't waste your time with these idiots. They may be fast but rest assured they don't know what they're doing. I had to take my car to the dealership to fix the job these morons did on my car. When I went inside to pay for my service, the techs were in the back drinking beer. If I would have seen that BEFORE I handed my car over to them, I would have turned around and left!
