When the specs were no longer in the machine database, Ron built them by hand with info from my factory service manual. My son's '96 Lexus LS400 would crank but not start. Towed it to Firestone at Custer. They tried many things, $300 later said they suggest taking it to Lexus. Towed it to Lexus Plano. They did about the same as Firestone but was $560 later, then said that another $1900 new plugs and wires should fix it. NO it wouldn't have. Had it towed home. My son met John through his work and told me we needed to take it to him, so after a short conversation with John we did and a few hours later they determined it to be the timing belt had slipped and needed to be replaced along with the front cover that wasn't there anymore. How did the other "mechanics" not check the timing ? ACE quoted us a fair price and had it done in no time. Natalie had to find the rare cover was the only time delay.
