My salesman, Jonathan, was nice, but his supervisor, Dustin Payrovi, was horrible. I traded in a 2014 Silverado for a 2017 Malibu. I told Jonathan that I was just shopping and I didn't want to do the deal until after Christmas because I needed to go to Alabama and pick-up some furniture. Jonathan spoke to his manager and offered to pay to rent a Uhaul for the Christmas holiday. I made it very clear both with Jonathan and with the appraiser that the bed cover did not go with the pick-up. Jonathan said he would bring it to me the next morning, but I didn't get it until 3 days later. When I went to make the appointment for the Uhaul I saw that it was over $500 to rent a pick-up from Uhaul. We had agreed on $200. I booked a pick-up with a car rental agency for $207 and let Jonathan know it would actually be $317 after taxes. I was told this would not be a problem. I was told the check would be ready to pick-up on the 21st. I went in the 21st and was told that the check was not ready and accounting was already gone for the day. I was supposed to pick-up the rental the next day. Jonathan said he would talk to Ali. Ali sent someone out to talk to me, I didn't get that man's name and he told me Jonathan would bring me the check at work the morning of the 22nd. At noon on the 22nd, when the check hadn't come yet I called to see what was going on. I was informed that Jonathan could not bring me the check and I would have to come get it. This completely ruined my plans, since I don't get off work until 5:00 and I was supposed to pick up the rental from across the road from my job. Jonathan let me talk to his manager, Dustin, who was completely rude and unprofessional. He informed me that it was my own fault that I was upset because I was making special demands that he couldn't fulfill. When I pointed out that I didn't want any of this, I wanted to wait until after Christmas to make this deal, Dustin argued with me like a 2 year old and said no, it wasn't the dealer's fault, it was mine. Then he informed me that he over paid on the trade in price on my pick-up. I have never been so angry, or mistreated by a car dealership before. I was told every problem was my fault and no one ever communicated with me when things weren't going right. I always had to call and see what was going on for myself. When I went in on the 22nd to get the check I was told that they weren't able to cut the check and Dustin gave me $320 cash out of his pocket. When I didn't say anything right after he handed it to me he growled 'you're welcome.' and stomped off. I wasn't even able to rent the pick-up to go get my furniture since by that time all of the banks were closed and car rentals don't take cash. Now I have to take ANOTHER trip to Alabama that I wasn't planning on to get my furniture after the deposit clears the bank. This was a terrible experience. There are other Chevrolet dealerships and you can count on that I'll be going to one of them next time. I'm still so angry I wish I hadn't bought the stupid car in the first place. I've barely had it a week and it's already been more trouble than it's worth. ***Update 01/08/18 After 3 weeks, my trade in still hasn't been paid off. So, on top of all of the other bad service, now I have my very first late payment on my credit report. This was AFTER they told me 2 weeks ago they couldn't do a return because the deal had already gone through and they had paid off my pick up. read more

Wow! At first I was skeptical coming here for an oil change. When I bought my new Silverado (Century Edition and B-E-A-utiful) here, we had a few problems, but they made it right in the end. Brandon was a big part of that. So, my first oil change was due last week. I took it in to the service department here. I got right in, maybe 10 minutes and the truck was taken back. About an hour later my truck was pulled around and it had been freshly washed. This is where I thought I was going to lose my mind. The guy who was moving the truck accidentally backed in to a wall scrapping the quarter panel of my brand new truck. Junior came out and was very calm as I was infuriatingly yelling at him on how this could of happened. I was upset. Junior took this accident and did everything in his power to make it right. This happened on a Saturday, so he informed me that his boss John would not be in till Monday. So, on Monday I came in, still very upset. The reason a give five stars today instead of one is because of these two guys. They worked with me and did everything in their power to make this right. I am beyond impressed by their body shop. It had some deep gouges and some minor dents on the seam of the wheel well that looked beyond amazing after they were done. The detailing they did afterwards made it look better than when I bought it. Not to mention that when my truck was finished, Junior asked me if he could deliver the truck to me since I lived only 20 minutes away. When he swapped out my truck for the brand new rental they gave me for the week, he noticed my girlfriends car was a bit dirty. He told me to bring it on down to the shop for a free cleaning. I am very impressed with how they handled an otherwise crappy scenario. I am not the easiest guy to deal with when I am frustrated. So I'm going to be honest, I was very surprised by this place. I was hesitant to go to Clay Cooley Chevy. I was in the market for a new Malibu, but I didn't know where my credit stood. I put a request online for information, and was contacted that day by a member of their internet team. They answered most of my questions, but also was insistent that I come in and see the vehicles first hand, as there is only so much you can do over the phone. So I set an appointment with David, and he was very friendly on the phone. I was worried that when I got there it would be the typical sales routine, however one hour before my appointment time I received a confirmation call to inform me of who I would be meeting with, verify the time, and ask if I needed directions as there is construction and roads may be blocked. I really appreciated this as I dont live in Irving, and I would have missed where I needed to turn had I not been instructed proactively. Another thing that I found helpful was that before my appointment I received a personal video and pictures of the vehicle and features I was interested in! At this point, I was very pleased, and had never been treated so well during the purchase of a vehicle. Well, long story short I drove off in my new Malibu, received the payment that fit my budget, and great customer service from every one I encountered. David and the finance team were pleasant, but also quick to get me through the processes as fast as possible. That being said, I read other reviews about this place, but my experience was completely different. I cannot say enough how much I appreciate the time that David spent listening and educating me every step of the way. I recently brought my truck in for a recall on a transmission part, with the assurance that the warranty repair would be completed in about two weeks or less. In reality, the repair dragged on for approximately one month and two weeks--an outrageous delay that disrupted my daily life. From the very beginning, the lack of communication was astounding. Despite this being a warranty repair, I was never offered a loaner vehicle. Instead, I was forced to spend over $2,000 on a rental truck that I desperately needed for work. Every call to the dealership resulted in vague responses and endless runarounds. It wasn't until I persistently inquired that I even learned the name of my service advisor, Obrayan Nunez--a clear indication of how little customer care is prioritized. The situation deteriorated further when I finally returned to pick up my truck. I was absolutely appalled that they couldn't even take two minutes to pull my truck up from their chaotic, enormous parking lot. Instead, I had to wander around with my luggage and backpack, fresh from a trip, while they fumbled to locate my vehicle. To add insult to injury, my truck wasn't even washed upon return. Overall, the entire experience was marred by gross incompetence, severe delays, and a blatant disregard for customer time and convenience. This level of unprofessionalism is completely unacceptable, and I will never trust Clay Cooley Chrysler of Irving with my vehicle again. I am writing to formally express my concerns regarding the damage sustained to my vehicle while it was in your dealership's care for service on May 22, 2025. I brought my 2018 Chevy Silverado to your dealership for an oil change and was deeply disappointed to discover that my vehicle had suffered damage during the process. Upon retrieving my vehicle, I immediately noticed deep scratches on the driver-side quarter panel and that my driver's side mirror was broken. This damage was not present prior to my service appointment, and I have photographic evidence documenting the condition of my vehicle before and after the service. I respectfully request that your dealership take full responsibility for the damage incurred and provide an appropriate resolution. I propose the following options: Repair the vehicle at no cost to me at a reputable repair shop mutually agreed upon, OR Reimburse me for the cost of professional repairs. If I do not receive a resolution within seven (7) business days, I will be filing a formal complaint with the Texas Attorney General's Office and the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles, and I will consider seeking legal counsel to pursue damages. While this incident has severely impacted my trust in your company, I remain hopeful that you will address this matter promptly and fairly. My Experience: I had a awful experience I've never met a company so inconsiderate I ask to speak to a manager 3 times by the name of Jordan and left 3 voice mails for a service manager never got a call back my service supervisor name Robert would not call me and keep me informed about my car I was not given a rental because Robert stated they were out of rentals the end of everything never felt so disrespected they lied to me about what was wrong with the car in wrote it in pen instead of it being a legitimate statement from the computer they blame my battery for a cm going bad in the end my car has 48,000 miles the brakes have went out at times in caused me to wreck my car the car has a recall that I was not informed about the power steering goes out as well when Driving I'm a very unsatisfied customer at this point in do not appreciate what I have experience and how hazard the car is for my family and i I'm 74 and no longer have more money to invest in no other car after paying 20 thousand off in putting 6,300 down I never expected that I could by a car with zero miles in still be under the 50,000 mark in have such dangerous problems its is very upsetting that they would take such advantage of people read more

First, when i arrived the 'service consultant', Tim, commenced to explain to me that GM would probably not warranty the fog light that had excess condensation in it or the windshield washer pump that didn't work because the fluid didn't look pure blue and that we probably used rain-x additive. That being the reason it wasn't pure blue. Being a Fleet Manager i would like to know if GM requires a specific windshield washer fluid? There are many different colors of washer fluid and a pump, in my opinion, wouldn't care what color the fluid is. This really rubbed me wrong and left a bad taste in my mouth about the dealership and GM in general if this is true. I manage a fleet of 300 vehicles so i am pretty familiar dealing with service departments but this is the worst yet. I also should mention that the truck in question had 26k on it at the time of the issues and we have had it less than 6 months. The only reason i am giving 2 stars is because the items were covered but i don't think the 'consultant' should automatically accuse the owner of using the wrong fluid or assume that GM will not cover an item, the fog lamp, because it is cosmetic. read more

My car has now been in their service department for over 4 months, and I still don't have a clear answer or resolution. The most frustrating part has been the lack of communication. I've called countless times for updates, and no one returns my calls -- not even the general manager, despite multiple messages left over several weeks. It feels like once they had my car, I was no longer a priority. At the very least, I expected basic courtesy and transparency, but I've received neither.
