We noticed mold around our air vents and called our a/c contractor. They were absolutely no help at all so I reached out to Clean Air Pro's in Tampa. I am so happy I did, they were extremely knowledgeable and gave us a free estimate to eradicate the mold and also took measures to prevent it from coming back. Our technician Mor Vaknin came out and spent the better part of the day here. He removed and cleaned every vent in our home, he showed us before and after pictures of the work he did in our a/c ducts, coils & vents. I was amazed #1 how disgusting and moldy everything was prior to him doing the work but was even more amazed on how clean everything was when the work was completed. He even painted the inside of our vent outlets white so we would be able to see if any mold was coming back (which I don't expect to happen). Mor installed a UV light in our a/c unit as well to prevent any future growth and will come out every 2 years to replace the UV unit to keep our air clean. He then sprayed a disinfectant and growth prohibited to finish the sanitization process. I was thoroughly impressed with his work ethic and would highly recommend his services. After doing research on duct cleaning companies I hired Clean Air Pros. As promised, Emily called 30 minutes prior to the technician's arrival. His name was Mor and he did an excellent job. Emily explained the process over the phone when I scheduled the appointment and Mor did exactly as was explained. There were no surprises. I appreciated that there was no up sell and didn't feel pressured at all. Moore took his time, and was very careful with his equipment in my house. I got the basic cleaning. In addition to the main suction, he vacuumed every vent and took his time to ensure that all visible dust on and around all the vents and the ceiling were removed. He also cleaned out my dryer vents. Based on comments from other companies, Mor went above and beyond. This was my parents house and I don't think they ever had the ducts cleaned prior to this visit. We had one of their technicians come out for a basic annual dryer vent cleaning. The technician checked the dryer vent first and found no lint but he did not stop there. He did something more thorough and ran the dryer and then proceeded to the attic where he found a ton of dryer lint blown out from a busted pipe. Not sure how the pipe was damaged, but the technician informed me this could lead to not only dryer issues by leaky CO and CO2 issues which we all know are deadly. The job was 450.00 but it was worth it knowing this was going to solve a problem that may have lingered a while from who knows how long. The last dryer vent person did not even venture into the attic to check this so it have been happening then too. I am glad this technician was thorough even though it cost more. read more
