CLEAN EATING!! Haven't been too familiar with Clean Bites, as a last semester SFSU student. They were tabling infront of the Mashouf Wellness center on Recreation Day and had some amazing wellness shots(non-alcoholic)! Tried out the Power Wrap, which was HUGE, it's great they cut it in half. Came with this sauce that was spicy, but complimented the wrap. Great place to grab pressed juices, superfood bowls, anything energizing before/after hitting the gym! Service was pretty fast - they asked if I was okay with hummus, since I mentioned I was allergic to nuts - which was super considerate! Would for sure stop by again. Great place for people looking for cleaner alternatives - nothing oily, greasy - with great alternatives and substitutions! read more

4.61 for a lukewarm cup of coffee and they "recommend a 15- 18 or 20% tip that prompts you as you're navigating the screen before payment with your debit card? What a joke! I came into the Mashouf Wellness Center to pick my niece up from day camp and saw the Clean Bites stand in the lobby and noticed they have fancy coffee and espresso equipment back there and thought I would bring my mom a latte as she is always asking me to bring her one from Starbucks and thought it would be nice to be able to bring her a latte from right down the street any time rather than only when I stop at a Starbucks. I asked, Do you make latte's and the guy said yeah, so I order a latte which seems like they have one size; medium/grande size, do not have prices listed on a wall menu and don't tell you how much it is until they charge you. First I asked for a sleeve and the guy there "Juan" didn't know what I meant at first but found one in a drawer, then they didn't have topper plugs to keep hot and from spilling; didn't even matter as he handed me the plain white cup, I noticed no heat whatsoever on the cup but was in something of a hurry. Took me 2 or 3 minutes to walk home with my niece and handed it to my mom, she takes a sip and says it's very cold. so I had to warm it up in the microwave. The sales receipt didn't make any sense either. Said something like "Gisele's iPad" No price, no item description, just a couple of large numbers on a piece of paper. It's too bad they can't get something as simple as a cup of coffee right, because I would have frequented this place if it weren't for the first impression fiasco. read more

I got food poisoning from their Catina bowl. The chicken wasn't properly cooked and had frozen chicken water that coaggulated in the chicken as well. It is also over priced read more

I waited about five minutes before I tried to get the attention of the lady working there. Seemed like she was having a bad day but its probably difficult to take orders and prep food with one person. That aside, I really enjoyed the Berry Nut smoothie- a little less sweet than I would expect but overall tasted great. Oh and the straw splintered into a fray. The food I got was ok but like others mentioned the açaí was just frozen. I could have got that from the supermarket and made my own. And should have loft the price lol. The quinoa falafel bowl was ok but they added sauce when I ordered it without it so that kinda sucked. I was hungry so I ate it but I wouldn't order from them again. read more

I ordered their acai bowl through Uber eats and it's pretty good! A good balance of the fruits, granola, and acai :) Can't really find good acai bowl places around my area so I feel pretty lucky finding this place. read more

This is just a stand inside some weird corridor. Yelp and google map said they were open on Saturday, we got there and it looked shut down completely. I dislike when people make me loose time going there for nothing. Never trying this again. read more

They live up to their name, food is very clean, they know good vegan food. And it's not just vegetables in a bowl, it's tasteful. Creative, good variety, healthy as can get. Had their shake and maca bowl, wish I lived closer to this place. They're amazing. Not many people either. read more

The place is very friendly and welcoming. They have a lot of options for the health nut and for vegans. I highly recommend the acai bowl and the breakfast wrap if you're looking for something fulfilling. The cashier is also very nice and attentive to your needs. Great healthy choices for those who want to bulk and get protein shakes in after a workout. Extremely friendly staff members, the problem is they only have ONE person making the food AND drinks. Plus they do the cashier too. So this makes for incredibly slow service read more

My issue with Clean bites is that they advertise protein shakes that don't include foods that are necessarily high in protein. The lady at the front desk told me kale and hemp seeds are high in protein. How much kale would be needed for 20g of protein? You must purchase protein powder as an additional add-on. In addition, they don't have any nutrition facts for any of their smoothies. I am surprised that a health food place doesn't have any nutrition facts. read more

I try and get here at least once a week! The chicken wrap is my favorite and the dressing is amazing! I've tried about half the smoothies and they enjoyed them all but I think the Mint Berry Smoothie is on top so far. It's nice to have a quick, healthy option in this neighborhood. read more
