A DANGEROUS PLACE FOR WOMEN - After ranting at me for several minutes Ebrahim stepped within inches of me, raised his arm as if to strike, but instead spat full into my face. He then rushed to backed my car out of the test area, leaving my engine running, in reverse gear, partially held only by the hand brake. In my panic to get away I jumped in my car, with his saliva running down my face, just as the car lurched backward. I barely was able to avoid an accident. Our "discussion" leading up to this incident involved whether he had an obligation to retest my vehicle. During our "discussion" he called me a "dirty whore" and told me to "Get the f--k out", which I was lucky to do. By the way I'm 76 years old. An unlikely age for a whore. WOMEN WATCH OUT - This man I first thought of as nice has demonstrated he is capable of violence. read more

Just called this place asking how much their smog test was. He asked if I was the same person that had called before, I told him I wasn't. He told me $50 but I had to buy a certification for $8 to have it for the next three years as my car is from out of state. I asked if I could do that through him, he said "Fuck you" and hung up on me. Awful customer service. read more

Ebrahim is friendly, efficient, fair and knows what he is doing. He took extra time to explain all my options for renewing my registration once the smog test was complete. My car is 25 years old and he carefully explained the additional tests that the state required on older cars. This was the best experience I have had with getting the smog cert done. And, yes, my car passed the test! read more

Ebrahim is such a sweetheart. I came in to have a smog check done and brought my lunch with me. He pulled up a chair and table, gave me a cold water bottle and some napkins. When he was done with the smog check, he went through and explained everything thoroughly. Such a great experience! read more

My ancient 20 year old car has been tagged as a High Emitter Profile which means Star Stations only for my smog tests. That also means those cheaper places that offer coupons and too good to be true pricing will likely not work out for my car. Fortunately my mechanic knew of Clean Cloud Smog and passed the word along to me. I had a wonderful experience! Ebrahim knows his stuff and my car passed the smog check. I did not have to wait long at all for the test and it went quickly and seamlessly. Ebrahim is a lovely and very kind man who cares about his customers. I will do all my smog tests at Clean Cloud Smog in the future. I will confidently and happily recommend to anyone I know needing a smog check they try Clean Cloud Smog. THANK YOU EBRAHIM! We do cars at our Star Smog station. We are a STAR certified station. If your car model is 2000 and newer your car will be out in 15 minutes or less from the time you came! Walk ins are welcome for these car models of 2000 and newer! If you would like to come after 5PM, please call to confirm your arrival. If you would like to come earlier or later than our normal business hours, please give us a call! We will do our best to give a smog check at your convenience! We also take appointments. Please give us a call and make one today!

The gentleman on the phone said the transmission fluid is for life unless I'm towing or carrying heavy loads. When I questioned why I see that it's recommended online he says that dealers will recommend this service all day but if you check the Toyota maintenance manual it says you don't need it. Man! I haven't even been to this shop yet and I'm already getting a good feeling about this place. It's a bit more expensive for an oil change than other places that have quoted me, but I like that they use factory parts including Toyota oil filters. I'll update this review once I get the car in for my first visit. Stay tuned.... 6/29/26 - Brought my Sienna in for an oil change + complimentary 30-point inspection (since it was my first time there). Jared took the van for a spin, brought it back and lifted it up. They found a little oil seepage coming out of the transfer case. I let them know that I did see a transfer case drain/fill on the CarFax report before I bought it. Jared thinks they just didn't torque it properly so they were going to retorque and clean up around the area and keep an eye on it. Worst case scenario, they would need to order a new drain plug gasket and I'd have to come back to get it replaced. Thankfully, the drain plug just needed to get tightened. I was in and out in almost exactly an hour just as Robert promised. Thanks The Toy Shop team!! Pro Tip: they are booked out at least a week in advanced so make your appointment ASAP!

Ebrahim must be the kindest and most accommodating fellow at any Los Angeles smog station (not to mention the most experienced). He offered me a chair and a glass of water, and answered any questions I had with great enthusiasm. Just speaking to him was worth the trip. Great service, and the 16 minutes includes all the paperwork. Ebrahim was a doll and pretty funny too. Not only gave me water and a seat -- asked if I wanted the water to be warm or cold.
