There aren't many macro friendly restaurants in the Virginia Beach area. I've been to Muscle Maker Grill in chesapeake which is similar to Clean Eatz. They provide healthy macro friendly meals such as wraps, burgers, sandwiches, bowls, snacks and they also have vegan and vegetarian options. Upon arrival, the interior has a nice gym type vibe and they also have a refrigerator that contains meal preps, another area where they sell sparkling water and bang energy drinks which I thought was cool. I was feeling a bowl today and I got a combination of veggies, brown rice and salmon. They have 8oz of protein in each bowl which I was very impressed with. Everything was tasty and I even tried out one of their protein smoothies. The bowl was pretty well portioned and it costed me $12. The drink is included, unless you wanted a canned or bottled drink. They offer fruit infused water, unsweetened tea or mango lemonade. I love how they include the drink, it really cuts down on the amount you're spending and the drinks are very refreshing. I wish there were more places like this and I love how more people are trying to make restaurants that care about the quality of the food and well being of others. Will come back! read more

Love this place. So many options and makes working night shift so simple for meal prepping. I love that they have the macros listed. I do wish fiber was listed though. I've liked almost every meal I've gotten but I feel the broccoli and Brussels are always too hard. The green beans and asparagus are so good though! Wish more meals had those veggies. I've used so many different companies trying to get low calorie, low sugar prepared meals, Sakara and a few others which I can't even remember because they were not memorable at all and kind of gross. The food is really tasty, my favorite is the A1 steak meal, sometimes I'll add extra pepper or hot sauce to the dishes but otherwise they are seasoned nicely. My only request/complaint is that they had more options under 300-350cals with sugar below 3-5g. For right now, I just ordered my second set of meals for delivery in Colorado and looking forward to the same great experience. read more

The customer service at this place sucks. I called in a order for pick up and after realizing the burger had cheese on it I called back less than 5 minutes to ask for no cheese and was told the burger was already made. She then proceeded to tell me if I want the burger with no cheese I got to pay for the burger with cheese and cheese. I just can't believe this place. No customer service skills at all. Came in the other day to see what this place is about. Well, it was so good I came back again today. This food leaves you feeling satisfied and not over indulged. Perfect lunch for a construction worker. Clean Eatz is spot on with what they give you. I bought a bison burger both visits. Next time I'll get a bowl. They looked really good as well. My only gripe (if any) is they offer unsweetened tea (no sweet tea) and their other drinks all have stevia in them. Kinda has a weird after taste so not doing that. If you want water it's 1$ more. Even tho you pay for a drink with the combo. So not a big deal but the only down side to my visit. I'm sure ordering a smoothie with the meal would solve that issue but then I'm back to over eating and I'm here to side step that. Still a great spot and I will still be back, often. This place is great! They just opened recently but it seems like they know what they're doing. It's situated conveniently near VB town center. Food is prepared in a timely fashion, and it tastes fresh. I came here with my fiancée. We are both trying to lose weight before our wedding, and we are glad to have found a place that is centered on healthy eating. Meals are balanced, low calorie, and still manage to leave you feeling content. Best of all, it's very reasonably priced. A complete meal will run you between $6 to $8! Highly recommend this to anyone trying to live more healthily. read more

I have ordered clean eatz meals and I have no regrets, I got 5 meals first and then 10 meals, both came to me in dfw texas from outside of Texas, and they were still safely frozen so I am happy that has worked out so far, and I like the food I get good cow meat,and tasty veggies, and I don't feel heavy after eating these meals and I don't feel hungry in 30 mins either so yep I am gonna keep buying them.good work team clean eatz please keep up the great job. read more

My mom & I stopped in after a stop the garden center near. It was our 1st time in & found it to be a cute place inside. I was happy to have found a place that has more heathy options. My mom got a wrap & I had the flatbread. Each was good but, the chicken needed to be seasoned with at least salt & pepper when it's prepared. If it's not seasoned when cooking due to having seasonings on the tables...I can understand but not everyone wants those seasonings. I added some of each but when I added the sriracha sauce is when it was much better! The flatbread was made into a sandwich & I was expecting it to be served as a flatbread pizza. The vegetables I got as the side are served raw, expected them to maybe to have been steamed & soft. My mom had the fruit in cool whip as her side & she said it was a little lacking on the fruit! We will go back as I especially want to try a bowl because I love quinoa & want to try their cauliflower crust pizza. read more

Believe me, I love the concept of this place. My husband and I have eaten here several times, and I have LOVED everything HE has ordered, but everything I have ordered has not been the best. I know a lot of that is because I am not used to the fat free ranch and the health way everything is prepared, so I know it takes some getting used to. I will say I love how you can walk in and grab meals from their coolers that are already prepared, its like a healthy fast food. Ordering is where I have the most aggravation. This is a new place with a very new concept for the area. They have 1 register, and there are always people in line with a lot of questions about their menu and how to order (which I get and I did too). It would be soooo nice for them to have a second register so you don't end up standing in line behind 1 person for 10 minutes. My husband loves this place because its a great way to get something fast that is in line with his diet. The flat breads and turkey burger and very good. I was not a fan of the buffalo chicken wrap and it was due to the taste of the fat free ranch. I would get it again with out the ranch. I recently got a bowl with rice, chicken, and a few assorted veggies. Y'all, let me tell you that chicken was so ungodly dry that I couldn't even eat it even with two cups of teriyaki sauce on it I couldn't force it down. Their drink options leave a little to be desired as many of their meals come with a drink, but your options are un-sweet tea, some kind of mango drink, and cucumber water. I always get the mango stuff because I cant even with un-sweet tea and I hate cucumbers in water. Overall, we will keep coming here. I will continue to try new menu items. Healthy and delicious foods! This was my second time eating at Clean Eatz and it was delicious. I had a salmon wrap and it was delicious! Didn't really like the Thai peanut dressing for my bowl; it tasted very bland. Brought a couple of friends with me the second time and they had their orders wrong...twice. Clean Eatz is an overpriced ripoff. Save your money and dine elsewhere. I ordered a medium sized Build a Bowl with only the following ingredients: asparagus, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, and cauliflower rice with cilantro lime dressing for a total price of $10.79 (before tax). I chose not to have an added protein, but I didn't get any discount. However, the sticker shock truly came when I was served. Even though I said I was dining in, I got this tiny round disposable aluminum tray (approximately six inches in diameter at the base - not the misleading flared top). Yet, the food was served in a thin layer at a total depth of no more than one inch. There was a total of three teaspoons of cauliflower rice lumped in about a quarter of the bowl. About two Brussels sprouts were thinly sliced and spread at the bottom of the bowl to give the appearance of volume. Perhaps there were two or three small broccoli florets. The dressing was served in single tiny sauce cup (comparable in size to a free sample cup at Sam's Club). I really wish I had taken a photo of the "dish", since my description can't adequately describe the extremely measly portion size. I think I left the restaurant hungrier than when I walked in. I think my bowl dish had a wholesale raw food cost of no more than $2.50, so a price of $10.79 is outrageous. The serving bowl should have been entirely filled with food, not two-thirds empty above the thin layer of food. There should have been at least three times as much food provided at a $10.79 price. This wasn't a lunch, but a way overpriced mini-appetizer. I hardly ever write reviews, but this restaurant shocked my conscience of fair business practice. I just wanted honest food at a honest price. You are much better off just buying from a supermarket deli where you order and get what you pay for. I was really looking forward to a healthy place to eat, but not at the expense of throwing money away like I did at Clean Eatz. read more

I picked up 5 meal preps for lunch & I absolutely love them. They come frozen, but when I warm them up they taste very fresh. The taste is so good & the portions are perfect.
