We were so happy to find Pedro at Clean N Clear! I found no one in San Diego county that could install a new cedar hot tub (our third in the 48 years we've been in this house), but found Pedro online. He immediately responded to my email with a phone call, we worked out a plan, he took care of all the details, and had no problem coming down to the San Diego area to install. I highly recommend Pedro and his team! I had my cedar tub originally assembled by somebody else who left the job in the middle due to a luck of expertise. I found Pedro via the company i originally purchased the tub from and he was prompt, professional, fast, experienced- mainly he saved my tub from being ruined. I jumped the gun on submitting a positive review for this business. Yes Pedro did a decent job replacing my gas heater. However had a waited a little longer to write the review, I would have included a description of the shoddy business practices they subjected me to. After installing the heater, Pedro urged me to use his company's water maintenance service for $230 a month. I later found out from at least four other people in this business that the going rate for maintenance service is $150 (which is what I had been paying). When Pedro gave me the quote, I asked him why they charged so much. He said it is because they clean the filter every week and they use "higher quality" chemicals. Neither turned out to be true. Over the next couple of months, I noticed that the person who showed up to do the maintenance did not clean the filter. In fact she didn't touch the filter. When I contacted Pedro about this, he passed me off to his brother Angel who told me, your filter doesn't need to be cleaned every week. I told him that the price for maintenance included weekly cleaning. He denied that his brother had promised that. Plus Pedro failed to complete the job...he left the Smartouch Digital Control sitting out on top of my hot tub with no protection around it. He told me he would build me a box to put the control in. Well more than two months have passed...still not box,. My brand new Smartouch is exposed to the elements. I wouldn't use this business again. I would like to remove my first review but it appears I cannot do that. read more

Clean & Clear just finished assembling our Alaskan yellow cedar Roberts Hot Tub for us, and we could not be happier. This is a replacement tub for one that last almost 30 years. The whole C&C team was fantastic -- craftsmen who take great pride in doing the job right so the tub could last for decades. And C & C will be maintaining my tub each week. Initially I had talked to another assembler here in Los Angeles. But I unfortunately lost confidence in him. His commitments and schedule kept slipping. I am so glad I called Pedro at Clean & Clear.
