The other day I was going to give them another chance, and gained quotes for 2 moves....2 locations. I got a lot of confusing information from their rep Regis, mistakes on the quotes, and then a lot of attitude from him as well. When I asked to speak to Santiago I was told "that was a different time"... meaning that the owner no longer talks to customers...he is too big for that now. Never again. I used C&C to help move my 78 year old old mom from a three room apartment into a 2 room one in senior housing. My mom is a pack rat with 78 years of life experience packed into her place and these guys handled it fast, well, and with grace. - Here are some of the ways C&C blew me away: First, the communication from C&C was always prompt and soothing, from my first email requesting a quote, to another email about changing the move date (to AUGUST 1st, no less!), and finally a semi-panicked email two days before about how much stuff there was. To each email, C&C responded that they could do it and everything was all set. Next, the move out. The guys were incredibly friendly while projecting total confidence - which was completely warranted. Each guy treated my frazzled mom like a queen, genuinely listening to her tales about this piece of furniture or that picture, all while keeping everything moving. They assured her that they would take good care of everything and they absolutely did. All while moving incredibly fast and organizing a very disorganized pile of stuff. Then, the move in. How they got my mom's 60 x 80 headboard into her new place, I will never know but I think it may have been magic (they also disassembled and reassembled the bed super-quick). They got everything in, moved stuff around, and handled a nosy neighbor graciously and effectively. Finally, the price. They charged exactly what they estimated, even though I think we went a little over time. Not only that, the estimate was significantly lower than other fancy-pants places that could not possibly have been more reliable, careful, fast, and friendly.
