tl;dr Grasso Family Moving goes above and beyond. I've used them for two moves and will use them for my next! In mid-August of 2017, my movers completely ghosted on me and started ducking my calls. Panicked with a move quickly approaching and no help in sight, I started desperately contacting movers. Jeff Grasso responded quickly, professionally, and kindly--not only taking the job but giving me an insightful explanation about what had gone wrong with my sub-par first attempt. If you know anything about Boston moving, it should be that the end of August is INSANE. Jeff had three or four moves and found time to fit me in. Originally scheduling two guys, he ended up doubling that (himself included) to get me moved into my fourth floor walkup apartment as quickly as possible. I couldn't tell you how much I tipped because I was so deliriously grateful. When moving time came again, I called Jeff as soon as I had my date picked. He handled everything--from renting a truck to wrapping my furniture. He finished in one hour and fifty-eight minutes, perfecting his estimate of two hours. He and his mover, also Jeff, smiled throughout the sweltering heat and that same fourth floor walk up. They navigated how to get the truck in tight spaces and found a creative solution for every problem that presented. For the past year I have felt guilty that I never reviewed Jeff for last year so (with my first review!) it's the least I could do to lavish the praise his company deserves. You will not be treated as a number and these men do not rush through jobs but they do hustle and get the job done properly. My last 2 moves I had the pleasure of calling Grasso family moving to get the jobs done . Both from South Boston to stoughton and years later from stoughton to malden . When I called the owner Jeff, he was 100% respectful and reasonable with his prices . They arrived on both occasions on time and moved my furniture Delicately and made sure it was packed correctly. These guys are incredible. After a hell day of 7 hours of moving and 2 cases of heat stroke, we decided (at 6 pm) that since we almost didnt finish moving out, we would hire movers to move in (for 9am the next day). Jeff, the owner, was prompt and professional. His team, Jeff and Adrian, treated our stuff like it was their own. It took them 1.5 hours to do the same job it took us to do 7. Grasso Family Moving handled a move in Malden for me last weekend. Jeff and his guys were professional, reliable, quick, attentive and knowledgeable. They treated my items with the greatest of care and packed the truck so that the move was completed with just two trips. They disposed of several large/heavy items that would probably not have been picked up by the weekly trash. I also needed to move several items, unexpectedly to my Uhaul storage unit. Jeff is very prompt in answering calls. He and Adam took great care in handling the furniture. I rented a uhaul and when I didn't have enough blankets, he had brought some as backup. He was running 15 min late due to traffic, he sent me a text and didn't try and rush out later. I knew he had a job following ours, but we were his number one priority. When at the destination, helped us arrange and "rearrange" furniture. I have moved many times, some with expensive pros, Jeff equaled their work and was more professional than many. I recently moved from Malden to Methuen and this company was exactly what I need to complete this long move. Jeff and Mike were professional and delightful. Even when they have to move all my stuff to the 3rd floor with no elevator. I felt so bad watching them carry my mattress up the 3 flights of stairs.
