There's a lot I could write about the disappointing experience I had with this company. Let me begin with the shoddy job they did though since you're probably wondering about the cleaning services, since after all they are a cleaning company.. The job they did was mediocre at best. They assured us that since they are a small company, they would care more about the job.. etc. The quote they gave us included ALL SURFACES to be cleaned. So tell me why I ended up on my hands and knees scrubbing surfaces AFTER they had come? .... One superior walked into the restaurant and made a rude remark about how the place was "really messed up" but I mean.. we hired a company to clean, so why would you expect the venue to be ALREADY clean? Mind you, its an extremely small 500 sqft area we hired them to clean.. We had mentioned during their time here about the things we felt were subpar to which we received an extremely rude attitude from the employees. "Happy now?" was exactly the response. They "price matched" other companies' quotes to us. Then later while on the job, management complained about how little money they were making off this job. Ok.. then why did you take it? Lastly, they were supposed to seal our newly painting flooring. I told them I'd feel better if we had the floor swept so that no debris would get stuck underneath the sealant. They assured me it would be fine and that wouldn't happen since the debris would get stuck to the mop instead of the floor while they applied the liquid. Our experience with Desert Dry Restoration (Fernando Ventura) was extremely disappointing. After…read morethe Palisades fire, we hired Fernando to help with debris removal and restoration work on our property. Unfortunately, he was unable to complete the job because he did not have the proper licensing required to perform the work. We waited over four months for him to obtain his contractor's license, but he failed the test and never became properly qualified. We ultimately had to hire another licensed, reputable contractor to finish the job correctly. To make matters worse, after our new contractor completed the cleanup and restoration, Fernando illegally dumped debris from his roll-off back onto our cleared lot. When I confronted him, he admitted doing it and promised to reimburse the cost we incurred to have it removed -- yet three months later, we are still waiting for payment. Adding insult to injury, Fernando is using a set of photos of our home on his Google profile as an example of his "work" in the Palisades. This is completely misleading -- he did not complete the project and did not have the proper HAZWOPER certification to handle or dispose of debris. We trusted Desert Dry Restoration during a very difficult time and were met with unprofessionalism, dishonesty, and additional expense. I strongly recommend verifying licenses and credentials before hiring and would not recommend this company based on our experience.
