My neighbor found their Groupon and used the company and was super happy, so I took a chance to book with them too despite the review on this site. So first of all; a few weeks back I called a different company for quote and NEVER got a reply. So I was really hoping to schedule a last minute appointment to line up for after my house cleaners were coming in like two days (but figured my chances on this were slim). I had just heard about them from my neighbor, called like 5 minutes before they closed. They answered right away, the gal who answered was cheerful and helpful, told me they would honor my Groupon and give me a quote on a few other things I wanted, and she was able to get me in on the day I was hoping for (and I didn't event have to ask!) Second of all! My carpet was a mess, I had puppies, a 5 year old, a flood last winter, and recently my baby niece mashed BLUEBERRIES into the carpet, it was a mess. Someone had spilled something gross behind an end table that I found when I moved my furniture out. Gross. I wish I had thought to take a before photo because you guys, I thought I was gonna have to replace the whole damn carpet. As for the tiles; my grout hasn't been sealed by the builders when we moved in, and we hadn't gotten around to it in the last 2-3 years. It was getting absolutely filthy despite our cleaners scrubbing it every other week, and the floor was looking kinda grimy. I got a reminder text and a phone call the day before with my scheduled time and reminder to vacuum and mop my floor before my appointment. The day of, the technician Yule called me a bit early, but I had my phone on silent, so he had to wait a bit which I felt bad about. He was super nice, showed up just on time (would have been early if I had answered my phone). Yes, the truck was a bit older like some people here said, but the truck and all his equipment seemed to be in good repair, so who cares if it's a bit older? If the truck still works and is in decent condition why replace it? It's a work vehicle people. Yule was very professional, gave me a decent quote and explained how the Groupon worked into it. He gets bonus points for being sweet with my dogs. He did offer the enzyme cleaner which I added on (because previous puppy messes). Then he got to work, and man I felt like Yule was busting his ass. My grout was perfect and shiny clean (so we just finally finished sealing it) and NO BLUEBERRY STAINS. He even got into a difficult place under my bed where my puppy once thought it was okay to pee. Carpets were basically dry by the next morning, and even right after he finished it wasn't terrible to walk on. Overall I had nothing but good experiences with this company, their communication, and the value of the service they provided me. It's been a few days and I'm overjoyed every time I see how clean my carpet and tiles are. When life gives you dirty carpets, you go to the professionals to help you get clean again. We had a lovely holiday season, and I wanted to get the carpets cleaned for the new year. I had purchased a Groupon for the carpet cleaning, and when I scheduled the appointment, I had asked about tile cleaning and more. The woman who scheduled the appointment would not give me any pricing over the phone for the additional services, but told me that the people coming out would take good care of me. The guys arrived to clean the carpet, and while they were nice guys, they definitely lacked some professionalism. I had asked about cleaning various tiled area in my home, and they could not produce a price sheet, but instead provided me with a total. I asked about additional discounts since I was having so much cleaned, and that didn't seem to make a difference. OK, fair enough. Based on what I was told, I was hoping that the work being performed was going to justify The huge expense. They told me that it would take an hour or two for the carpets to dry, and about the same for the various tiled areas in the house. My carpets took 2 1/2 days to dry, and for some odd reason spots that were nonexistent before became existent. The carpets not only did not feel clean, they did not look clean. Keep in mind, I also paid additional money for stain removal. I called and spoke with the office, and it was the same woman who is scheduled the appointment. I explained about the spotting on the carpet, and how I'd actually paid extra to have the spots removed and that they were worse than they were before the carpet was cleaned. I also discussed with her how wet my carpets were, etc. She told me she would call me back. Three days later, I still hadn't heard from her, and called her back. She said that she had misplaced my name and phone number and was glad that I found her back, and that she would set up a time the following week to come out to my home, and she would personally clean the carpets for me since as it turns out, she's the owner. I also discuss with her how I was overcharged for the work that was done in the house in addition to cleaning the carpets. She said she would take a look at it because it did sound like I was overcharged. I've now waited two months, she hasn't called me back. She hasn't made good on her promise to come back out and clean my carpets, or even potentially refund part of the money that I was charged to clean my tiled areas. Which by the way, pretty much just had water put on them and that was about it. I'm not certain what cleaning products were used, but nothing smelled clean or felt clean. Yule and Shatara worked hard and did a really good job. Yule cleaned grout in the bathroom and sealed it. It turned out surprisingly well considering the age of the grout and stains. Shatara worked hard as well. The only thing that disappointed me was that the "brightening" solution we paid for did nothing for our cream carpeting in the bedroom. Other times over the years we've tried to shampoo ourselves through rental machines but it wasn't the same! Looked over the downstairs and began to plan where he would begin. I asked if he could include the tile and grout cleaning in the kitchen and for an additional $59 he was able to add the extra work in his schedule. Some parts of my home needed more heavy cleaning than the rest of the home, an extra $40 for pretreat was recommended. Overall happy with the service of this company. Friendly, professional and fast. The lady on the phone was very very nice and gave me a quote (which was VERY competitive) and got me scheduled right away. I got a confirmation text the day of and a 30min heads up before Jovan came to my house at our scheduled time. He was kind, courteous and did a fabulous job! I'm very impressed. He worked hard! This company is very misleading. I purchased a Groupon for 1200 sq ft of cleaning which including I floor; 3 bedrooms. Jouan the cleaner asked if I wanted pre treatment spray. Yes, I always have this and it's typically included with the service. For 3 bedrooms it was an additional $120, but he said he would do it for $80. That's criminal for pre treatment? I could have done it myself but was too busy working remotely so I went ahead, not thinking clearly, I paid for the Groupon plus $80 for a pre treatment spray for some minor areas. It ended up costing me more than a top quality, local cleaning company. I would NOT recommend using this company, as they try to upsell on pre- treatment or simply pass, as I should have done. read more

Very disappointed in the level of service. The technicians arrived 2 hours late and only spent about 30 minutes cleaning 3 bedrooms-if that's what you want to call it. The rooms had a musty smell after they left and traffic patterns were not removed. They wanted to sell me an upgrade in a pretreatment but I declined primarily because they were 2 hours late and it seemed to me that a good-will gesture would have been to comp the pre-treatment. After the carpets dried I vacuumed the carpets and the amount of lint and dirt picked up by my vacuum was disturbing. Our carpets are relatively new as our home is newly constructed. NEVER EVER AGAIN! Wow I am APPALLED at the way I was treated by this company... the OWNER at that. If the owner can treat a customer that way, well that speaks volumes. My carpets were cleaned, but when they left there were still so many stains and spots, that I called them to ask them to be redone. I was told stains don't come out. I used my little Bissell and got them out. Once I did, the water was BLACK from cleaning the carpets. They had supposedly just been cleaned. They said they would come back (after clearly being offended that I wasn't satisfied.) she came back the following Tuesday and wouldn't come in because my little dog was here (at no time was I told to put dog away, and she was here the first time.) I understood and she scheduled me to come back the following Tuesday. I messaged her first thing that morning asking for a time, and got no response. I called the office and spoke with the owner who proceeeded to tell me they weren't going to come all the way out here just for me, and that my expectations were too high when I "prob only paid a meesly $50". I paid $230!!! I don't think I'm expecting too much to get the service I paid for. She also said "there's no way your little cheap carpet cleaner did better than ours," because as she told me they do offices and big projects like that (that means nothing to me.) she snickered that I took the day off work today to be here to get my carpets done, and actually said "you actually took work off to get your carpets cleaned?" Like I was out of line for that. I was then HUNG UP ON and they won't answer the phone for me anymore. I finally decided to dispute this through my credit card at this point. They then said it was only good for three rooms. Their technician lied and said that he owned the company and could do whatever he wanted. They are amazing workers, skilled, very professional, have great personalities, and I was very comfortable having them in my home while I was cleaning other things. I found them on Groupon and my carpets were so tragically disgusting. (From normal wear and tear, spilled drinks over the years, and previous tenant disasters). Yule explained to me that I will need a pre-treatment done. I explained to them that I don't have high expectations, I know the carpet sucks, anything that the grouping doesn't cover, I will do so myself when they are finished. So I originally said no due to being on a tight budget but then changed my mind after they did an area and showed me what it looked like. Yule offered to even add the stairs which I am so grateful for because that was going to be the hardest part for me and time consuming. They continued to work (now with the carpet pre-treated) and paused to come get me to see the progress. I LOVE that they made sure I was happy before they finished. After 8 messages, still no one from Cleanup Carpet and Tile Care contacted me. So I called them for a 9th time (all calls made during supposed business hours) and finally talked to someone. They hadn't bothered listening to any of the messages and their response to me reporting that no one showed up for my appointment was, "Oh, maybe they were sick. Sorry about that." The woman I spoke to really couldn't have cared less. I brought up that I missed work to be home for this appointment (as they don't have any avaialble during a time I don't work) and she said, "But no one showed up so it's not like you were charged anything." Not being at work means not being paid so while I'm not out the cost of the carpet cleaning that wasn't performed, I am out money for taking time off work that was completely pointless since the carpet cleaning wasn't performed. I bought a Groupon and scheduled the service with them. They told me they would call the night before the confirm and they didn't. The day of they texted a huge text and part of it asked to respond yes or no. I was not able to use my phone for several hours that morning and I was not told that this was a necessity. So we prepped for their arrival between 2 and 4. As the end of the timeframe approached I contacted both of the numbers given in the text by phone and text and no response. I left a message, no return call. No one ever showed up. Monday morning I expected someone would call and apologize and explain. No one did. I called them and they said since I didn't respond timely to their confirmation text they didn't come. If punctuality, communication and follow through are important to you, don't use this company. I have no idea how well they actually clean. read more
