They are not willing to squeeze us in, but state that they have other bookings and can not clean our house. What an incredible inconvenience! UPDATE: Updated from 1 to 3 stars. A few hours after contacting lots of other carpet cleaners to try to still get the job done (since I had already moved all the furniture) Jeff called to confirm our appointment. I was super confused and told him the office staff had said I had no appointment. He assured me I was on his schedule and that he would call the office. He called a few minutes later and all was squared away. He showed up on our appointment date on schedule and completed the job as quoted. I love the job with the grout cleaning and most of the carpet throughout except for the master bedroom. I think that maybe we just have a very light color carpet there and maybe that's why it didn't look as clean as I would have hoped. Pictures follow. The scheduling part was so confusing and such a hassle that I don't want to call back to have them come look at the master again so I'll just tell myself it's my carpet color. The reason for the 3 is that I wasted a good two hours trying to find a new cleaner when they had me in the schedule after all. Wow! Always Green Clean is going to be my new go-to carpet cleaners! I live in a 2nd floor apartment rental, so I had called around before finding someone that was able to clean a 2nd floor apartment without needing a water spigot right by it. Making the appointment was super easy. I called and within a few minutes I had an appointment for 2 weeks out at my request. They emailed me a work order that included a basic quote. Since I wanted pet deodorizing + deep cleaning, AGC informed me that the technician would give me a new quote once he assessed my apartment. The technician I had was Jeff! Jeff was a rockstar, and super helpful. My carpets looked better than new once he was done! His add-on quote for the pet deodorizing was SO reasonable! I couldn't believe it! We had these guys out to clean the carpet at the office and had a really great experience with Jeff. So much so that I had them come clean the carpet at my house. The cleaning itself was fine, but they really misled me on the price. I ended up paying far more than I expected since they charged me to same price for my regular sized bedroom as for my very small toddlers bedroom which only measures 9' by 7'9". I expected them to measure the space they would actually be cleaning with a laser when they arrived since that is what they did at the office, but that didn't happen. I don't know if this would have happened if Jeff had been my technician, but I feel duped because the different pricing structures between office and home cleaning were not explained when I originally made the appointment. The cleaner showed up approximately 20 minutes late, which was off putting since it was a work day and I needed to get to the office. However, the rest of the experience was great. He conducted a quick assessment of my carpet needs and got right to work. I left for the ~40 minutes of cleaning and was called when he finished so I had no waiting around time. Clearly, this service is doing something right with all of their positive reviews, but I have to share my experience-- it was sub par. I used this service three times to clean my house. I spoke with a lady on the phone that set me up with an appointment to get my house cleaned. I needed it cleaned the exact day I set the appointment. She wouldn't give me a price quote over the phone. I later found out why. The "appointment" I had set was apparently for her to come look at my house and give me an estimate. I was pretty annoyed in that she did not tell me this over the phone and led me to believe that an actual house cleaner was coming to clean my house. I had to wait another week. They refuse to touch your stuff, like at all. They told me they do not move things to clean. I told them that we're not super particular other than the showers and to make sure she cleans them well. Showers weren't thoroughly cleaned at all. With each visit, the cleaning seemed to get worse, and they aren't cheap for what they offer. Maybe they're getting their business because they market using "green" supplies? I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

Hired AGC June 7, 2011 to clean the tile/grout after a complete kitchen remodel due to the high reviews on Yelp. New cabinets and appliances were just installed and were still being completed when Aaron and Ben from AGC arrived to clean the tile flooring. Got a call towards the end of the day that they were almost done so left work to come home only to find out they were still sealing the grout. No big deal, spent some time watching them seal the grout in the family room and speaking to Aaron about family stuff and what not and left my CC# and headed back to work. Aaron locked up and called an hour later saying they were leaving and all is well. Came home to see the tile floor was clean as expected, grout not as clean as promised BUT nothing really matter after I saw the damages to my NEW cabinets. Almost 90% of my NEW lower cabinet's doors were dinged up deep enough to show the actually wood underneath the finish. Called Aaron's and Kevin's cell phone that night and got a call the following morning from Kevin saying he would be out to take a look at everything. Aaron never returned my call or even picked up my numerous calls to him. Needless to say, Kevin isn't willing to man up and take care of the issue. His first response when seeing the damages is there no way his employees and tile cleaning methods could have caused this... Even though the cabinets/appliances were literally brand new and we basically were still in the process of moving in and he had no other explanation on what could have caused the damages to just the lower portion of the cabinets. Also had a contractor there that was there the night before the cleaning giving me a quote and swore that he didn't see the damages there and he would have definitely saw it if it was. After taking the cabinet doors to the finisher to see if they were salvageable I was informed on top of the dings, some type of chemical was used that also etched into the cabinets finish making it un-repairable. Came home to investigate other areas that may have been hit with the chemical and noticed all my NEW appliances also have the spray on them and 2 of the appliances have stain/rust marks where the chemical ate into the stainless steel finish. Total cost so far, $4500+ for damages alone and we haven't even got into legal fees and time spent trying to fix everything that was damaged. Hired an attorney to resolve the issue since I wasn't getting anywhere with Kevin and will be filing a small claim suit shortly if no resolution. AGC may be good at cleaning carpets but they carelessness when it comes to tile cleaning and lack of taking care of issues that their employees obviously caused shows what kind of company this is. It wouldn't surprise me if there tile cleaning method has completely changed since my home, but either way be careful if you hire them and no matter what they say have someone at home during the whole process. read more

We have carpet everywhere in our house. What can I say? When we bought this, our first/only home back in 1990, we were younger and had less disposable income, so we went with carpet throughout almost all the house. Fast forward to today, over 14 years later, and said carpet is holding up well (we're neat freaks with no kids, which helps). However, due to its lighter, more neutral shade, it gets the normal wear and tear and stains just from use. Oh, and having two cats that insist on throwing up ON THE CARPET instead of on the tile when they feel the need to be sick, hack up a hairball, or regurgitate that brand/flavor of cat food they don't like (I'm sure any of you cat owners out there can relate!). So, since we're cheap (!) and don't plan on replacing all the carpet in the house with tile and/or hardwood flooring until after we pay off the house (only three years to go...thank you one re-fi and a 15-yr mortgage), we gotta keep these carpets clean. I reiterate that we are clean freaks :) We tried a couple of places, and happened upon Always Green Clean thru a Groupon offer. Since then, we're devotees! We've used them three times so far (and yes, each time with the $69 Groupon deal), and we couldn't be happier. It's so nice to have the carpets looking nice, and SMELLING nice as well (last time, we bucked for the extra $20 to add the deodorizer, and it was lovely so we'll keep doing that). They were able to accommodate my schedule so I figured I would give them a shot. Their technician, Jeff, arrived right on time - we're off to a great start! I showed him the mattress and rugs and asked if the quote that they gave me over the phone would work and he confirmed there would be no additional charges - it just keeps getting better! Just stopped returning my calls after a couple of visits. Ended up having to get the locks changed. Working with Molly at the office was always pleasant, always clearly communicated. Every time before the cleaning I got emailed they were coming with the invoice. The one or two times there were hiccups - once when their maid came late, once when MY credit card got changed and it denied them a payment - Molly was always extremely considerate about fixing the issue whether it was me or her. (Also did I mention you can pay by credit card and set it up as a regular payment?) And then there was the cleaning. AGC's crew always made my place look great and wasn't shy about doing one or two extra things each time. Once cleaning the inside of the microwave after my chili got out of hand. Once doing a rubdown of my wooden couch with preserver. Again, nothing I did EVERY time. Just a little extra once in a while. And no extra charge for it. I've had multiple people do my carpets over the years and I definitely notice a difference with this company. Here are some things that put them above most other companies -They use a cleaning product that has no vocs, no soaps, its just about as safe as you can get. -The technician I had, Jeff, does a full overlap on his washes, so it washes twice over, other companies just do a partial overlap for speed. -He goes at a proper speed, Ive had people spend half the time this company does on my house and its not done right, the stains come right back when it drys. -They do a dry pass to get out excess water/dirt -He has a second spray bottle on hand when hes doing extraction to get out stains that didnt work with the first pre-spray. -They have a truck mount system, ive had a portable come back that didnt do a good job. But that aside, not all truck mounts are equal. The truck mount this company uses runs off the trucks engine and an additional engine in the back, they use the power of two engines. I am now a loyal customer with this company, this is the carpet company I've spent lots of time looking for! read more

Got a Groupon and gave these guys a call. Their work and service are pretty awesome. About a week after they came, a weekend houseguest spilled coffee on the stair landing. I gave them a call, and they came back out the next day. They were fast and very professional. Since we have dogs, I'm glad the chemicals they use are safe for them to be around. The reason I gave 3 stars is because the coffee stain they cleaned on the second visit didn't completely go away. read more

I purchased a new home and went to my trusty Yelp to find companies to do cleaning and carpet cleaning. I was happy to find Always Green Clean that did both carpets and house cleaning. I called immediately and set up an appointment for an estimate for cleaning and got an estimate on carpet over the phone. I was happy to hear that there was a discount for bundled services. I was happy with the carpet cleaning price and scheduled my appointment right away, with the intention of using the cleaning services. The nice lady came over for the cleaning estimate and walked through the house for me. She was very knowledgeable and repeatedly said, "wow, that looks good", "the stove doesn't need cleaning at all", "the shower doesn't ever look like it was used", "this looks great" these statements made me excited because I didn't think I was going to have to pay much at all. Since I work in the housing industry, I use cleaners for apartments almost daily and know general pricing. Later that night I received the estimate and almost choked when I read the estimate was $347. I had two other estimates from other highly rated companies come back and the price was half or even less that price and they listed the same things to be cleaned, even with the discount of bundling the cleaning and carpets. I urge this company to re-access who they are contracting cleaning through because it could hurt the carpet side of the house. If I wouldn't have already scheduled the carpets, I would have probably gone with a different company all together. The Carpets were cleaned as scheduled and they did a good job. I had them use some extra chemical on the stairs to keep from stains, so I hope that works out. The stairs actually look dirtier than the rest of the carpets so far... read more

I had a horrible experience with a different cleaning business in the area and was so relieved to find Always Green Clean. I utilized AGCs services for the past 4 months and have always been extremely happy with their professionalism & quality of service. They are an extremely organized company which provides email reminders & invoices detailing the service that will be accomplished on your home prior to each visit as well as reminders. Working with Molly to schedule the services or make changes to any appointments was always pleasant. Their deep clean crew is spectacular. If you're looking for just a "spring cleaning" or relocating and need a move out clean Gloria & her partner are exceptional. In addition, we had our carpets cleaned by them as well. We recently moved out of our home & have tenants now living in it. I was unable to follow up and take a look at the home after the clean, but was extremely pleased to hear our tenants point out the great work that each crew accomplished. We just had our carpet cleaned today and I can not believe how wonderful it turned out. We just moved in and are renting this home. The carpet was just cleaned before we moved in and it was SO BAD. I mean, it looked fine and there were no stains, but there was so much residue left from the chemicals the other cleaners used. We bought a brand new vacuum when we moved this last time and it's now caked with white film. When we first moved in, our feet were covered with residue and our socks were sticky and dirty. Also, after several times vacuuming, I started to smell dog smell. The previous tenants or owners had dogs and the smell started coming up after getting through all those chemicals. And it was getting dirty looking fast because every grain of dirt stuck to the leftover residue. I had been searching online for ways to clean organically myself with our steam cleaner. Thankfully I found Always Green Clean! There is no way I could have come close to doing the job they did on my own! Fantastic service provided by Molly and the team. I reached out to schedule cleaning for my kitchen, bathroom and counter top tile flooring. They charge by the square foot so while scheduling it may seem like you are giving them a lot of info. I was glad I did because the estimate was pretty accurate and I added in having my kitchen tile sealed after it was cleaned. The whole process took much longer than I expected but the areas had not been professionally cleaned since I bought the house brand new many years ago. Overall I am very happy with the service and work completed. All together it cost about $400 but was well worth every penny. I had found this small 4 month old malnourished puppy wandering in a parking lot. I took him home of course and of course he had a few "accidents." My cat, always the competitor, saw his stains and raised him a few more. I don't know if you have ever had to negotiate a room saturated with both a puppy's and a male cat's urine, but let's just say the smell was putrid, abundant, and unbearable. It was so bad that if when I stood in the room for a little while my girlfriend complained that she could smell it on my clothes. Something had to be done. I quarantined the room, and got a referral from a friend for a carpet cleaner who hopefully also worked miracles. I was referred to Always Green Clean. I called Kevin (one of the owners) and we set an appointment. When he arrived he was very clean and polite. He surveyed the damage and went to work. I tried not to bother him, but when boredom and curiosity got the best of me I peaked my head in to observe. He was happy to explain his all-green method and plan of attack on the carpet. At one point I even witnessed the stains (and hopefully the smell) being drawn from the carpet. Once he was done he explained that it might take a bit to tell whether it had worked or I had to buy new carpet. He said about four hours. So I left the windows open, turned on the fan, and crossed my fingers. Sure enough once I opened the door the smell was gone. Just the faint smell of the cleaner he used (which smelled quite nice) and has since dissipated. Overall I am very satisfied with the service in every aspect. I had a gentleman named Dustin from Always Green Clean out to my house today to clean carpets and tile flooring. He did a great job making all of my carpets look and feel new again. Then he scrubbed the kitchen and bathroom tile floors by hand and then with his machine. I forgot how nice my tile was until he cleaned them. I have to mention the office folks because they were nice enough to rearrange the schedule for me fitting me in later in the day then my appointment was scheduled. This was my first time doing business with this company. Their price was much better than I imagined given all the work I had for the guy. I had been burned in the past trying to purchase a Groupon for a service, and so I was hesitant, but my carpets really needed a thorough cleaning. I jumped on Yelp to see if this company had any reviews, and not only did they have reviews, they had sparkling clean reviews! So I jumped on the Groupon and was on my way... They answered the phone in a professional manner and the scheduler, Kristin, got back with me promptly to schedule (sigh of relief). I was happy they were able to schedule during a time frame that worked good for me, and the technician, Jeff, arrived when they said he would (high five). I had added on stair cleaning (I knew it would be an additional charge) and I knew they don't move furniture so all was moved ahead of time. Jeff did a fantastic job and even emailed me a copy of my paid invoice. He also suggested I think about getting the carpet stretched and referred me to a company that does carpet stretching. I have not yet used the referral, but have referred Always Green Clean and the carpet stretcher to others who have been equally as happy as I with their services. We've typically used cleaners from the Pennysaver and Craigslist because, well... We really just didn't see the value in carpet cleaning and honestly thought all carpet cleaners had a very similar process.. You know, the big truck mounted cleaning system.. they all look the identical. I couldn't have been more wrong. So after dealing with some pretty lousy cleanings and shady service from ex-cons on craigslist, I decided to give AGC a shot.on the recommendation from a personal friend. I think I'm a pretty hard customer to please, but AGC did an amazing job. They didn't give me some absurd 4 hour window to show up, they arrived on time and everything about the service was organized and well planned. The end result is that the carpets looked and most importantly smelled 1,000 times better. Tough stains in high traffic areas were entirely eliminated, something I didn't even think was possible. EXPERIENCE: I needed to get my carpets cleaned before a party on Saturday so I did a search on yelp and Google. I found these guys to be rated the top 2 in Sacramento. I visited their website and submitted the information that was needed for a return phone call from Kevin. He called me back within 2 hours and was very professional and knowledgeable about the product, his staff and confident that it will be done properly the first time. One of the Technicians came out 1 hour later and started the work. TECHNICIAN:Upon arrival he parked nicely in the front of my house. He came in, was very clean cut and professional. He asked about the rooms and told me the process in plain English. He made sure the bad spots were completely sprayed good and done properly. OK, I just had to come here and let everyone know how great AGC was with both the house I moved out of and the house I moved into. My travel schedule is extremely hectic and there is just no way with my moving and my travel and the holidays coming up would I be able to do everything on my own. I came to Yelp to get some leads for carpet cleaning and had to try AGC SOLELY BECAUSE OF THE GREAT REVIEWS. And I like they have an office in Vacaville...Dorsey came and boy was he nice and professional. The carpets looked so great. He was able to get the carpet fluffy in areas I thought just had no hope. He explained the process and what I needed to do to ensure the carpet dried completely but the carpet was pretty much dry feeling by the time I went in to inspect. What a great guy and what a great company. Molly was so awesome with communications and getting me an appointment as quickly as she did. I will definitely use them again...no one else. I had to get my new couch cleaned since my cat decided to spray on it. I went through Yelp to find a cleaner in the area and I was impressed with the reviews that Always Green Clean received. I scheduled an appointment and Jeff came right on time. Before Jeff started, he told me that cat spray is one of the hardest smells to remove so I felt well informed. He was very professional and I appreciated how he made sure my floors were wiped up before he left. The couch is still drying but so far, it smells fine! Well my wife and I were moving out of our rental after 7 years and needed to do the rental turn over. Needless, to say the carpet is that builder grade Natomas tan carpet that was worn to death...my wife hated it. We had chemdry clean it one time only to end up with it being just ok. So for our turnover we called Always Green, one on the reviews and two on their green mission. We were quoted a price on the phone I think about $250 for a 2500sf 3 bed 2 bath. They called back asap and were on time to clean. The guy that showed up said it was larger and they would usually charge more but since I was already quoted a price that is what they would go with. Anyhow, needless to say he meticulously did every inch of the house, and the carpets looked seriously new after he did them. We were shocked exactly how good they looked. Transformed my house! Cleaned upholstery and rugs. Cleaned and resealed tile. Completely worth it! Fabrics have taken longer to dry than what they said. Allow double the time--but it it still only 1 day to completely clean everything. Love these guys. read more

Have used AGC for carpet cleaning 3 times and all times have been positive. Each time there was good communication setting up the appointment as well as with Dustin who got held up in traffic and called to say he would be late. Dustin worked hard and got out the nasty puppy stains and the carpet feels and looks very good. Will continue to use them and would highly recommend them. read more
