I am not happy with their service at all! I hired them to tighten down my carpet and these are the results! They spilled glue on my carpet near my bedroom and didn't offer any discount. Very uncomfortable walking on dried up glue the carpet every time going in and out of our bedroom. The seams were not fully together and the carpet was not fastened down in the corners. The cuts in the seams are uneven and the areas near the walls are uneven. The carpet in my closet wasn't even stapled down all the way. There are areas in the house that still have folds. Also they left quite a mess when they left with carpet pieces everywhere. I sent an email to them and no response. I would have rather taken the $2k and put it down on new carpet! read more

I talked to Rodney about stretching my carpet and then he mentioned that he cleans carpet. He offered to come out the same day to give me an estimate. First he told me on the phone that he would be at my place between 4-6 pm. Then I got a follow up email when I checked my phone later and it said he'd be there between 3-5 pm. I rushed through my errands to get home before he arrived. I texted him twice to get an idea of when he would be arriving. No answer. I waited from 3:15 until 6:00 and then I had to leave. Rodney finally called after I had left to apologize for not communicating with me and offered to come the next morning. I work so that was not possible. I didn't ask him to come the same day, but he offered which was nice of him, but I didn't appreciate waiting at home without any communication. That's not the way to do business. read more

The owner is nice but when he sub contracts people it could be a problem. He sent out another guy to our place and it was a terrible, traumatizing experience. The guy threatened, cussed, and verbally assaulted us. That day ended in the police station. But talking to the owner after he seems like a good guy, but still charged us for the event which I believe isn't good business considering what a guy representing his business pulled on us. I will never go through them again and if your considering it, they will raise the price from their add and try to sell you more expensive not needed chemicals. Wow! I can't say enough good things about Infinity Carpet, especially Rodney. I don't normally write reviews, but to find this level of customer service AND efficiency is rare these days.  So, here's what happened:  I live in SF, but was helping a friend in the area with her house. The carpets were a wrecked and I needed them cleaned that day. I knew booking this appointment with someday service would be challenging, but some of the service quotes were ridiculous (i.e. unreasonably priced compared to others, inadequate services, undetermined price quotes--I would at least like an idea how much it'll cost). That combined with the unprofessionalism (e.g. onhold too long, misrepresented quotes in ads, untrained or unable to answer basic questions) was discouraging.   Now, here's where I lucked out... I was running errands and began chatting with this older gentleman in line at the store and told him a little bit about my situation. Clearly, I struck a nerve with this gentleman and he when off about "how hard it is to find good service these days." True. Then, he recommended Infinity Carpet and said he's been using them for years.  I called Infinity Carpet and Rodney answered immediately. Rodney answered all if my questions, easily offered me a quote, and somehow worked me in that day! He was on time, worked efficiently, thoroughly, and well surpassed my expectations--all within the quoted price and time. Rodney is clearly a pro and I'm so grateful that gentleman in line at the store recommended him. Unfortunately, this guy is a crook. I called, had the valpak coupon, gave them the square footage of my house, and they said their $99.00 deal was no problem. Then the guy gets there, 30 minutes after the time slot, tells me it's another $40 because i have a walk in closet. Umm..50% more because of a walk in closet??? I said that i got the quote when I called, and it was no problem. His response: it's 20 more for that, and 20 more because it's a big bedroom (about 10x12). well, i could take it or leave it, he "wasn't going to sit and argue with me". Classic Bait and Switch. They're not registered with the BBB-probably because he's a crook. AVOID THEM please. I wish I would have read the yelp reviews that he charges more than they quote over the phone. read more

Rodney was awesome.! I needed my carpets cleaned before the weekend family get together, so a little bit of a rush. Rodney answered the phone right away and he was out within the hour to give me a quote. Very reasonable, especially compared to the competition. I liked the quote so he went ahead and cleaned all of my carpet right then. What a professional. He made sure to not track anything in the house by wearing those little blue booties over his shoes. He put up corner guards so his hoses wouldn't damage my baseboards and walls. He was very fast, in and out in less than an hour. The carpets looked amazing. The owner, (Rodney) provided service on both our tile floor and carpet. The tile floors have seen nearly 14 years of kids and pets, and needed some serious freshening up. I knew it would look better but was shocked at how good it looks. The carpet looks equally good. Rodney was in time, and got straight to work. Had a mail coupon for 2 room carpet service. Of course gave me a quote to get the pet stains/odor removed and the quote came out to over double I would have paid with just the coupon. I informed him I only want basic. Got another quote for 20 dollars more than the coupon "the room is large". Well, the second room has a huge king size bed and he only needed to clean the path around the bed. They were here a total of 7 minutes (that included the set up time). When I questioned "7 minutes and my carpets are cleaned?". He said "yup steamed cleaned". I touched the ground, barely wet and not even warm. Think twice before you use this company, coupon or not. Terrible! Terrible! Terrible! Charged double the coupon rate because it was "a long drive". Very rude attitude. Spent 20 minutes on the carpet. Carpet now smells horrible whereas it did not even smell before. And it does not even look better. Carpet is only three years old and we were doing a routine cleaning, no real problems. Now we have a big stinking problem. Called and asked if he would honor his "Satisfaction Guarantee" on his coupon. His response, "Why don't you air it out a little longer!" I was put off and a little nervous about using Infinity after reading the reviews but I am glad I went ahead and used their services. Rodney was great. He was early, worked really hard and although it did cost more than quoted, it was reasonable considering the issues we had. We just purchased house and knew previous owners had pets. When he looked further into odor issues we found problems in pad with pet urine. Called Infinity carpet care, I had a coupon 2 rooms and a hallway for $45.00, Owner Rodney came out was on time and then told me my carpet needed pre treating for an extra 40.00, I said no thank you, then he said he would pre treat for an extra 20.00, I politeley declined, I moved all light furniture myself and only had him do traffic areas, it took him only 12 minutes to do 2 rooms and a hallway, I had the feeling he hurried up and rushed because he could'nt get anymore money out of me, At the rate he was here he makes 180.00 an hour for what! False Advertisement with the company. The owner came out and doubled the price when he has a value coupon that comes in the mail . He stated that the price only includes water - so if you like washing your hair without shampoo then it might work. I have had my carpets redone and very happy with my other choice . When I first called Infinity carpet care I expressed that I needed someone the next day (Saturday) on a 3 day holiday weekend. He said that he was working but when I mention I needed something after 2pm he sighed and said I was really putting him in a spot. Well I said "oh I am sorry for putting you out" and hung up. It should of been a sign. He called back (Rodney) and apologized and asked me to give him a call. Since he was the cheapest around at a quoted price of $119 I did and we set an appointment for after 2pm for the Saturday. The appointment was met and there was the up-charge he charged me that brought it up to $189!! Then I tipped him $10 because I didn't have change and it seemed cool. The carpet looked fine the next day. A week later the new tenants call the landlord and she calls me. Apparently part of the carpet was crusty and gross. When the landlord called to see if he could come out and fix it he said it wasn't his problem and that he could come out but someone better pay for his time.
