DO NOT USE. I just moved to Cambridge and wanted to do a deep clean before I started unpacking as the previous tenants left a layer of filth over their tenure. I called Cleanzen and got the quote (nearly $300 for my small apartmen). I told them everything I wanted done and we agreed on the number. I could have flushed the $300 down the toilet and the apartment would have looked cleaner than when the Cleanzen service left. There was dust everywhere I asked them to focus on. I even opted out of certain cleaning (ie inside of cabinets and the like) so they would focus on baseboards, window sills, blinds, and the floors. no one touched any of it. I ran my finger across the kitchen counter when I got home and it was STILL dirty. I had been away for a few days with family and because I didn't report the poor results in 24 hours I was not eligible for any kind of remediation. Find another service, save the money. read more

I had my entire house cleaned today by Ayandra and it looks good. Being pregnant has made it hard to do extra chores around the house. She cleaned from top to bottom - laundry and all. As a former owner of a cleaning company myself, I have never hired a cleaner for my own home because I'm extremely specific. But my situation has changed and I could no longer keep up so I hired Cleanzen based on their reviews and prices and they did not disappoint. They sent Ayandra and her team. She communicated via text to give me her ETA and let me know she was running a little late due to traffic which I understand and appreciate. Upon arriving I was nervous because we didn't really talk about what I expected but when they left I noticed all the little details she did: dishes, appliances, moldings, under the couch; etc. My dogs were barking when the vacuum cleaner was on and they both didn't seem to mind which is awesome because I know it can get annoying! If I could leave no stars I would. This cleaning service is a complete SCAM. I paid $200 for a deep clean of my apartment. They were in and out of my house within an hour and I couldn't be more unhappy. They left dust and dirt all over the floors. Did not clean the bathroom. The fridge has dirt and hair on it. I'm so unhappy and when I contacted management they took more than an hour to get back to me resulting in the cleaners would not be able to come back that day and then proceeded to charge my roommates card the FULL service that was most definitely not completed. They also lied and said that the cleaners tried to contact me before they left to do a final walk through when that never happened and I was outside and made eye contact with them when they left and did not try to communicate with me at all. I do not recommend using this service ever. Unprofessional and quite literally the WORST cleaning service I have ever used. I will make sure to let everyone in my industry and social media know to not work with you. read more

My apartment is 600 sq ft, and I was charged $185 just for the kitchen and the living room, which are incredibly small. The "deep clean" did not cover detailed spots, and I had to go back and clean parts that they missed. Also, when i tried to get some help from Cleanzen, the cleaner tried to start arguing with me about what she did/didn't do, which was truly unprofessional. I only went with Cleanzen because I desperately needed a clean the day of, but especially because of the price I paid, and the fact that I had to defend myself as the client, I will never use them again. read more

No showed on me when I indicated my date was not flexible. I had a mid afternoon cleaning and the cleaner reached out to let me know early in the day that she was running late and offered to reschedule or come at 4pm. I reiterated my date wasn't flexible and 4 was acceptable, but instead of reaching out to cleanzen and allowing them to timely replace the cleaner, she no showed. I had to follow up myself after she missed the new time she said she'd be here. Now it's too late to get someone new since we have kids that need to go to bed and so I'll be up cleaning til midnight when this was supposed to be checked off my list. I wouldn't wish this predicament on anyone. Unreliable, no proactive communication. Cleanzen should have reached out to me not the other way around. They should have found someone new in the morning when they ran into an issue in the first place. Do not trust this business. I don't understand the 5 star reviews. read more

TOTAL RIP-OFF! I had one previous experience with CLEANZEN that worked out very well. However, the last experience was absolutely despicable and unacceptable. Not only that, but the way that the Cleazen Company handled all of my complaints was a JOKE. We scheduled to have an Airbnb deep cleaning prior to moving all of the new furnishings in. The condo had already been professionally cleaned a few months prior to our scheduled appt. Still, we wanted it to look and SMELL squeaky clean, so we requested that all of the surfaces be cleaned, including washing the floors, countertops, inside cabinet drawers, shelving, inside & outside of refrigerator, exterior of washer/dryer, walls where there was visible fingerprints, and sweeping the entry stairs outside. So we paid for the "move in - move out cleaning", which cost us 319. to have done. Immediately when we arrived at the Airbnb that same day, we could tell that it HAD NOT BEEN DONE or it was done HALF ASSED. Besides the front stairs not being swept, there was no smell of any cleaning products. (Supposedly they arrived at 9:30 that same morning and we arrived at noon...... no squeaky clean smell???) and realized that we had been ripped off. Found a piece of an eggshell still on top shelf of refrigerator, very easy to see, so obviously no one bothered to even open the refrigerator door. Both of the full bathrooms on lower level and top level of condo still had dirt and grime on the tiled floor. Inside the vanity drawers we found hair and makeup, so no one bothered to open any drawers. The washer/dryer unit still had dust and lint all over the front. Just pitiful! We complained and they said that we had to take pictures of all the spots that were not cleaned and they would return and clean just those spots. We were moving all of the furniture in and we were straight out busy!!! But I was so pissed off, so I stopped moving and took a bazillion pics and texted them over. They wanted to send the cleaners back immediately but I said NO. We needed to finish moving in and let the hourly paid movers go. THE CLEANERS DISREGARDED OUR REQUEST AND CAME ANYWAY. Even when they returned the second time, they failed to clean the spots they were supposed to. When I called to complain that they were in the unit without our permission, they did not know what to say to us. Then when I called to notify them that the 2nd attempt to clean was still unsatisfactory, they offered a $15. refund??? REALLY??? I ended up having to clean the whole place myself. The cleanliness of the apartment after their service was very satisfying. One slight issue I had was that some things were thrown out, and I know that they were disposable items but I still needed them for the remaining days I was staying in my apartment. Also posted to Google Reviews: We were assigned Reinaldo and Marci's team for an arrival at 3pm. The contract states that the cleaning team has a 1 hour window for arrival to account for traffic, parking, and other issues that come up. The cleaning team called at 3:05pm to say they would be late and would arrive at 3:45p. At 3:45p they were still not here. Long story short, 1 member of the team arrived at 4:15 - 15 minutes past the 1-hour window. This was problematic as I had other appointments that I needed to get to and now couldn't stay at the property. The company stated that the other two cleaners arrived shortly thereafter. The team called at 6:05pm to say they completed their work and were leaving. Unfortunately I was no longer in the area and couldn't do a walk through - wish I had. They had come to do post-construction cleaning and there were no issues before the cleaned. Afterward, our new tile floor was chipped. The company claims it wasn't them/their team. I asked for the front hallway to be cleaned. Stairs were vacuumed but floor tile on the landing was not cleaned. The company says that the team was there for a total of 6 hours (3 people*2 hours) and simply didn't have enough time to get to it. Mind you, I had already tidied the space/light cleaned to do a showing to prospective tenants so it was pretty clean to begin with. Moreover, the tile floor that wasn't cleaned is literally an area of 4 by 3 square tiles - not a big space!. The cleaner called me at 605p to say she was leaving. According to my math, that is less than 2 hours. After a back and forth, they finished cleaning at 6:05 but didn't leave until 635. Apparently you pay for the time it takes them to bring their materials in/out of the property as well. I thought that the time i paid for cleaning actually went to cleaning. For all of this headache, the company offered $30 back that they negotiated with the cleaning team. This was one of the worse, most unprofessional experiences I have ever encountered and would never use this company again nor recommend them to anyone. Buyer beware. read more
