Recently, I scheduled Jud to restore my 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee headlight lenses, which came out like "brand new" rather than restored. Upon seeing his work, I asked if he could also restore my Tacoma pick up headlight lenses. Jud stayed late and completed the second job the same day. I learned that Jud specialized in many areas of car restoration and asked what we could do about the Jeep's faded bumper covers, which no longer matched the rest of the vehicle. Jud tested a small area and advised that he could do a paint correction and make the coverers match. We scheduled another day for him to return. Upon completion, the bumper covers now perfectly match. Outstanding job! Jud saved me from having a body shop repaint the covers, which would have been quite expensive. This is a 2006 Porsche 911 headlight after Judd worked on it. Looks brand new! Price is really reasonable. And he warranties his work. Mine got some bird dropping on it afterwards and it left a mark. And Judd came out and repolished it and applied some ceramic coating to prevent future issues. I would definitely use again if I need any headlight reatoration. Update. Judd is just a good guy. I was amazed at the quality and attention to detail that Jud paid to my car when he worked to restore my car headlights! I have to admit that I've tried 4-5 different types of solutions to restore my car's headlights (eg., scrubbing with toothpaste, applying Off insect repellant, using car polish, scrubbing with car polish compound, etc). NONE of them worked. I was tired of trying to get rid of the hazy / foggy headlights, that were brown and tarnished. I wish I had found Jud 5 years ago! All of the photos in his Yelp page are true and authentic. I can attest to it! The process was easy - you Yelp message Jud asking him for a quote on your car. After you get your quote (VERY REASONABLE and FAIR pricing) - you set up an appointment. Jud comes to your place of residence/work and goes to work! He uses painter's tape to cover the front half of your car so it is kept clean. After a few hours of working on my car (Not all headlights are created equal, so all cars require different levels of service), I was AMAZED at the quality of Jud's work. My headlights look brand new!!!! I would have easily paid $700+ to get my car's headlights replaced. But, I paid a fraction of the cost and got new-looking headlights. And - the work comes with a 2 year warranty! I appreciate businesses that work hard for their customers. Jud at Clear-Cut Headlight Restoration is one of them! He worked super hard to earn my business and to do a fantastic job on my car. He is tidy, clean, professional, trustworthy, courteous & friendly. Restoration does not equal car detailing. It is a few steps higher and more quality that the usual cheap car detailing. Extreme heat caused crazing and micro-cracks on the surface of my headlights (2015 Porsche Cayman). Jud was very honest and fair about what could be done.
