This is my car wash of choice in the central Fort Worth area, especially for those frequent (and essential) just-get-the-Texas-dust-off-my-car quickie exterior washes. The staff are all very friendly and patient (sometimes I just can NOT get the stupid car into neutral), and the results are mostly consistent. My building has a parking structure that is open on the west side (where the wind mostly comes from), and that side is also right over the (very busy) railroad tracks. Being in the land of brutal sun and tennis ball sized hail, I hugely appreciate having covered parking, but no matter where I park in there, my car gets filthy with dust and grit within a just few days. Ugh. The fact that I can get a super fast, totally acceptable exterior-only wash for just $5 (or $8 with wax), makes me so, so happy. It's close to Costco and Target, and I've never had more than three cars ahead of me in line, so it's always very convenient. My husband has gotten full-service interior+exterior washes several times, and he's been very pleased with how cheerful and conscientious the crew has been. (He's the original Mr Picky, so that's really saying something. Hahaha!) I'm planning to bring them my beloved antique 1995 SUV for a thorough, heavy-duty detailing very soon -- I'll report back when I do! read more

Paid $20.00 for the full service plus wheel treatment and ceramic. The machine was down. They half assed washed my truck and wiped off my wheels. I asked the manager about the service and since the automatic system was down, I couldn't get full service, even though I paid for full service. He claims what I paid was actually $5.00 off due to the equipment failure, even though the sign said I was to get full treatment with ceramic. They wiped at my wheels and tires. I came home, took a rag and some cleaner and did the wheels myself. I will never use this company again, mainly due for overcharging and not trying to do what is right. Used to bring my cars here all the time, after today I no longer will. They've changed up the full service, now you have to back out of a spot that if anyone has been here knows, not a good idea I was almost hit twice leaving. Supposedly the fact that there's more spots means it will take less time, but only if you drive an Audi, BMW, Mercedes or Lexus they focus on those first. I waited a very long time for them to spray windows halfway do trim and tell me they were done. Half the car wasn't even finished. Place to be harassed. Piece came off after wash. Asked for manager and they told me I had broken it. Then a short stalky dude showed up to say that I had broken it. Asked for the contact information of his company and he told me "are you going to say please?". The harassment went from there, by refusing to quit touching my car. He said..."you're on my property" and "touch me...I dare you". Provoking place where I would not want anybody I know do business. Called cops. Always a pleasure to have these good people work on my car. I never had a problem with them granted my car isn't always filthy as some others. My only problem usually is pet hair whenever my dog rides with me and they always make sure every bit of it is gone from the passenger seat. You can always point out to them if they miss something and they'll be glad to correct that. read more

Very disappointed in my experience today. I have been coming here for years and today I decided to come and get my free 7 day rain wash. And it was a problem saying that they couldn't find my vehicle in the system. Honestly there needs to be more clarification on the 7 day wash stating that if you don't come before the exact time you purchased it last time they will not honor it. When the cashier told me he couldn't find my wash I asked to speak with the manager, the cashier comes back without the manager and tells me I need that he will take the 12$ off this time, but still proceeds to ask me for my receipt and says well IDK. Myself and the cashier started going back and fourth I asked for the manager again, Eric comes over with a NASTY attitude asking me what's the problem and I told him and he goes to tell me not to be argumentative when the cashier has my card and is being argumentative with me behind the window. Very unprofessional and after all these years and bring all three of my vehicles here every week. Will not be returning! This place used to have amazing customer service but the lack of good cashiers and management is bringing this car wash down. I came today around 3:40pm and got the 12 dollar car wash like I usually do I buy and sell cars and always get cars washed here never had any problems while one of the older Hispanic guy was cleaning my car I was waiting so I went to see how was it looking. The manager comes up to me and says what. So I was confused and didn't understand what did he mean. So he walk away. So then my wife says it's still very dirty can they vacuum it a lil more I asked and he start screaming doing everything very aggressively so I backed out Of the way he pushed the seat forward with all he's strength and broke the bar to push the chair forward and backwards and then broke the middle console. So I'm just very confused at this point. I asked very nicely for the vacuum? So I was shocked from what he did. So I went to the manager Christian and I'm explain everything that happen in a nice tone/confusion so the guy next to him who wasn't even a manager says I'm so sorry about that where gonna get this taken care of. The manager Christian starts yelling saying wait wait don't apologize so I'm just there with confused he then tells me go wait after I'm done cleaning this Car. Okay so I'm waiting he then comes Now I'm frustrated about everything that just happen I Mean come on broken console and now my chair And I'm getting treated like this. So I asked why did you tell him not to apologize he was only being nice in a louder tone he starts screaming YOU DONT KNOW WHO YOUR MESSING WITH I AINT FIXING YOUR CAR OR ANYTHING GET IN YOUR CAR AND LEAVE Like he almost wanted to fight. So I just left. No reason to make things worst he's acting like his Car broke. I would like to speak to someone about this it was very terrible. After all that happen i guess god bless them. I always pay for the cheapest I can get because I prefer to wax my car and detail it my self, in this case I paid $6 dollars to find out I have to pay 20 extra to get my car vacuumed. The dude mumbles as he's walking away basically calling me a cheap ass. I prefer to do it my self and not let someone half ass it. I have a 2016 Camaro, almost brand new. once every two weeks, I get my car washed. I chose brite zone because it's close to my place, it had good reviews and I saw other luxury cars there. I got my car back, there were spots in the interior. I got the ultimate wash but this happened to be a sub par wash. They forgot my window that still had stuff on it. The leather treatment on my car left spots on the plastic interior and my seats weren't even fully cleaned out. I found a popcorn kernel when I had to clean it myself. I suggest University Car Wash in the future to anyone who wants their car done right. Also-- I looked at the outside, there were scratches on the roof and a scratch on the side of my car that wasn't there before. I am sending something to the management about this and I'll review this further. read more

Very disappointed. Had a streak of tar about 8 inches long on drivers side door. They charged me $4 extra to clean it off on top of my purchasing their top wash. I drive a white Camry and the area around the gas cap, inside the latched cover, really collects dirt. I explained I wanted it cleaned. I asked 4 separate times including the guy who cleaned the tar off. I'd pop the hatch, point to the obviously dirty site and ask the person (who each time was holding a sponge or rag) to clean that specific area. Each time they'd walk back, look at it, and close the hatch, neatly concealing the dirty area. Part of the problem is that nobody speaks English there. I also thought my top of the line wash included interior vacuum and interior window and dash cleaning. Apparently not. Won't go back. read more

During the couple minutes the attendant explained what is now not available and what is available, I kept counting and recounting the cash in my hand. I selected the service I would have to settle on. The clerk told me the finial price, and I turned over the cash in my hand to her. She said, "We no longer take cash, just credit and debit cards." She was willing to take any card from my hand. That is not logical, handling cards but not cash. Well, reflecting on this morning, I am glad there are business doing so well these days, they can afford to simply turn away business. Not that they will care, since their business is booming, but they lost 9 cars, as none of us will be going there after today. The level of service just depends on when you go to this place. If it's busy... Count on people being rude including the folks that guide you through the car wash line. The actual cleanliness of your car after I wash is mediocre at best. Once again, just depends on the mood of the people on the backend of the line who do the final touches. My first time going there , one guy was really rude ! They didn't not clean the inside of the car well but they did vacuum it well. They didn't clean the steering wheel off and some other things.
