Good public parking lot and boat ramp for launching into Clear Lake. Two boat launches are available and there's also bank fishing capabilities. It's right down the road from NASA.

This park has a gorgeous view of Clear Lake, covered picnic seating area, playground equipment, a fishing pier, and ample free parking. Great for families of all ages. It's easily accessible from NASA Parkway.

Great view of the water. The fishing pier.

Every time I go to clear lake park it's so beautiful. Perfect view. Great place to take your dogs. We went today to eat dinner. Stopped at wingstop and went to the park to eat. I recommend going, taking your family and enjoy. Watch the ducks, fish, or do like we do sometimes, go crabbing. We've caught a great number of crabs. Great place to go.

Today's my birthday, and I was fortunate to celebrate it here. Get this, though. The party I went to wasn't for me but for a young nephew of a family friend who happened to be born a day after I was. About the park, simply beautiful. If you're on the right side of it, you get a majestic view of its namesake, Clear Lake. Mother Nature was cooperating so visitors were able to see all the way to Kemah to the east. Towering above the green is the Endeavor high rise. It should be noted that you'll be kissed by a slight breeze if you get closer to the lake. Now, the rub. One of the men's rooms lacks doors on their stalls. That said, and forgive me for providing TMI, doing a No. 2 is ill-advised. Overall, Clear Lake Park presents itself as the place to be for picnics, cookouts, festivals, and anything else that's meant to be done outdoors.

I had a choice today to take myself to look at some shoes that I wouldn't buy or take my dog, Pocky to Clear Lake park. (Hint: I've been wanting to take him here for the longest) Guess what, I made a smart choice and I took him to the park. He loved it!! We walked along side the shore it was very nice, the breeze felt soooooo good, and my dog couldn't stop smiling. You could tell he was relieved, that he loved it. And I did some deep thinking. Perfect place to relax, and think about things. It was so many people and families there. I felt pretty bad because it was a family oriented park, but I don't have any close family and my mutual family don't care to spend no time with me. But likewise, everybody has a life story. Though, I enjoyed my time with Pocky. He really makes me happy. The shore of where the water was coming up, it was dead fish. Poor fish, I felt bad for them, that they had to die like that. Nice park, about a dozen playgrounds for children, adults, or whoever to play on, plenty places to picnic, a pier, just little parking. They need more parking lots for this large crowd.

We were driving by and saw this park and we had to stop and check it out. The kids were cooling off in the water fountains shaped as Dolphins. It was a very clean park which seemed under utilized. Maybe used more on a weekend. There was a large bathroom building next to the fountains. As we drove away we realized it was a section of Clear Lake Park. Too bad my grandkids are too old because they would have loved it as small kids.

Such a wonderful place, I grew up around this area but never got to explore it until now. So clean and family oriented. If you're gonna do water sports, there's a number of docks here, to the right under a bridge is calm water but the bridge underpass has low suspension! Sail boat with mast up won't make it! the rest opens to the marina, and waters can be a little rough without something motorized! It's never too crowded, water is clean with food fishing or crabbing out their dinners, just the sweetest sight.

Nice day to go sailing. Easy to launch a sunfish, but would be better on a day with more wind.

    Outdoor workout equipment

Got married here & now my family comes here to play Nice looking outdoor workout equipment on the side with the tennis courts and historical building! The pictures are from the side with NO splash pad.

My 2nd to youngest daughter here with birds. We were feeding them bread earlier while my other kids were at the sprinklers.

They recently added a splash pad. It is nice but when we went there were a bunch of rude kids and the parents weren't watching them.

I'm not going to lie, as I was reading the reviews from Yelp and Google about Stevenson, I thought…read moreto myself, how can anyone call this park beautiful if it's stuck in the heart of Friendswood, TX? It wasn't until I got out of my vehicle and stepped on the red trail, walking, seeing so many dedication gardens in every area of the park. Who knew that Friendswood had its own flag to be flown so high next to the Texas and US flags? That is what made me feel that this park was a beauty, and I even thought of my surname park, Wilshire Park in Portland, OR. This park and that park can be compared to each other since both are surrounded by trees shading the path around the perimeter of the green space. Both have spaces for children to play, but Stevenson has added amenities, including the on-site pool, Texas native wildflower garden, splash pad, basketball, and tennis courts. The trail is 1/2 mile long, winding, and semi-narrow; when I am trying to tap into mindfulness, I tend to walk slower than a regular-paced person, and as I was walking, other park-goers were cutting me off to overwalk me and not giving me space when passing me up. I would have liked the path to be a tad wider in width to prevent this from happening. Nonetheless, it's still overall a solid neighborhood park and one would say a hidden gem. I wasn't expecting this place to be what it was and had a prenotion bias that it would have been like Frankie Carter Randolph and 1776 Park (two parks that I don't care for); but I am happy that it wasn't. Huge spacious parking lot with restrooms onsite. I think the artwork is from the same artist who painted bayou birds, natives, and animals at the Lynn Gripon (park in League City, TX) and Exploration Green (park in Clear Lake, Houston, TX), which is pretty cool if they are local to the area. I will have to add to this my list of parks to explore in the evenings and weekends!

I love that they placed a willow tree here since they it provides shade. The path is smooth. There are plenty of benches to sit and enjoy. I didn't see a designated parking area and so I parked on the right side, it's located on a packed street with houses on the left side. I had fun at this place!

I loved most that there were so many folks there: having picnics, learning how to perfect their roller skating skills, and simply gawking at all of the gates covered in artistic, glass, and beaded masterpieces. The live music was a nice surprise, as well as the arena covered in Houston street signs. Every head turn greeted me with original and unique art ond display: speedometers, affirmations of the power of love, and even dancing mermaids and skeletons engaged in intense conversations. I loved it all! Glad that the winters are mild enough to enjoy this park all year long.

At the front of the park, you'll find two clean restrooms and a playground with various swings for able-bodied and disabled children, monkey bars, and a spinning carousel. The parking lot is very large with many slots. It's a great place to come to if you want to get in some quick cardio around the track. I like that the Armand Bayou hike and bike trail are attached; it can get pretty crowded on the weekend, but if you want to see some wildlife it's here. There are deer, rabbits, and birds.

Holly Bay Court Sports Complex (HBCSC) offers plenty for the fit family: 1/2 mile asphalt loop…read moretrack, body weight workout stations on a rubber surface, children's playscape with pea gravel surface, large parking lot, restrooms, and water fountains. Whenever I visit, generally during holidays when we're in town to visit relatives, there are always plenty of folks of all ages enjoying the park, including dog walkers, kids on bikes & scooters, and lots of jogging suit-clad senior citizens getting their daily walks in. My primary interest in HBCSC, however, is as an entry point for the well trafficked Armand Bayou Hike & Bike Trail system http://www.yelp.com/biz/armand-bayou-hike-and-bike-trail-pasadena-2 . From here, I can get in a nice 10 mile run (5 flat miles out and back to Bay Area Blvd.) that is mostly shaded and offering a bit of typical SE Texas scenery. Recent rains can make for some soupy areas on the trail, but experienced trail runners and mountain bikers will have no trouble. When the weather is warm, mosquitos are common, so plan ahead with protection for that. Do note the many warning signs about snakes. Depending on the season and time of day, you may see a few, but that's also true for the back yards around here. Use your common sense, folks. This trail is adjacent to a bayou, so you may encounter any kind of creature that would thrive in a bayou. I would not recommend running or biking at night on this trail; stick to the dry, raised track loop for that.
