Boy.. did not want to have to leave this review. I gave Corey about every chance to keep servicing the pool and things just got worse. I was skeptical from the beginning. They are younger guys and told me upfront they don't do the major repairs (needed a major repair from the prior guys mistakes). He said they only do the maintenance and contract out big repairs. Fine. If they do a good job maintaining the pool, shouldn't have to worry, right? Wrong... First, we have a side gate that I asked multiple times for the guys to please shut to keep my dogs in. It's not the easiest gate to shut, but just a hard slam and shake can ensure it latches. They rarely did. Multiple times I heard it swinging open. Multiple times I complained. Once, came home to find my dogs running around in the street. I told Corey and he actually showed up with some dog treats and toys to apologize. Which was a good touch and I felt it was sincere and him doing that made me really want to keep his services. Then things just got worse. Started noticing problems with my pop-up system. Found out they never flushed the lines like their contracted guy told them to do. Turns out, they never check them. No idea how long they were not functioning. Then pool started getting green. Told Corey. I was actually impressed with him showing up the next day and he cleaned the filters and the pool came back a little bit. Couple weeks go by, pool is green again. Told Corey that there is no Chlorine in either the in-line system or the float. It needs more and the pumps were set to run very little throughout the day. He said the guy would come tomorrow. Never came. He came the following day. Pool got greener after. Shocking, I noticed the pop up system not working again. Waited to see if his guy would check it after complaining to Corey. He didn't. Didn't even realize the breaker had flipped and the Pop Ups were off. Next day, I checked. No chlorine tablets in either and pumps never adjusted. Even after complaining, the guy comes, takes the leaves out of the top of the pool and drops barely any chemical in the pool. I text Corey. He apologized. Said he was getting a new guy and the prior guy wasn't working out. Offered to come out the next day to fix it, but had nothing to say about this not continuing to happen. He had a very, "ya, my bad, I get it if you cancel services, I can come by tomorrow to fix but whatever you want" attitude. I told him I wanted him to stay on. Next day, he never showed up. Completely ghosted. He offered a refund when I first spoke to him about the issues, but no response after I told him I was done and never responded for the refund. Who knows if I will ever see that. These pictures, were taken 48 hours AFTER the service was completed and AFTER I had complained. I hate doing that, but you think the next service would be different after having just complained. Either Corey never even talked to the guy or the guy just REALLY doesn't care. Either way, it's not what you want. read more

AMAZING !!! I am so lucky to have found Clear Water Pools. A pictures worth a thousand words. In just 1week they have bought my pool from green back to clear blue ( this they accomplished in just 1 visit. 1 visit back to blue, 2 visit Crystal clear ). Then there was the great leaf debacle. I was away, then my skimmer didn't get delivered... once again in one visit they got it all under control. I promised they'll never come and find my pool in that bad a shape again. I am so incredibly happy with the service I want them to see how much I appreciate them. So I reached out to these guys last month (my pool guy was on vacation) and at first getting response was difficult but, I finally got ahold of after I asked to cancel (because there wasnt a scheduled day). Then they come and left the pool still green ( my pool guy does a shock treatment that takes a day) but cleared up a day later, no problem. Then they dont show up, and I have to hound him again! Them he sends his guys and they admit hes nonresponsive and laugh it off! Then the next week they dont show! I call and he's on vacation. He swears his guys came but I call security and no one checked in, I have no missed calls. He said he thinks he called but they couldn't get in.... they did a decent job the first time but every time after was just lame. Now let's fast forward to this week. I get a text saying will we continue service in may? (I would be charged again) However I still have one more pool service left I paid for! I call and text, then finally he responds and says yes you have one more pool service left... Well one guy comes and checked the pool on Tuesday but doesn't clean it! So its turning green! He didnt even turn on the pump! Ove called and hes too busy but says hell call me back.... still nothing! A lack of consistency seems to be this company's motto now looking at the previous reviews. Dont waste your money here (135.00 month) for half done service. UPDATE: So today I had another pool company come out and look at our pool.. it's a mess! Not only did they not add and chemicals to balance the pool, they also never checked the pumps once! So I had to pay $$ to clear out 6lbs of debris from the system. They have stopped showing up for us too and not even answering phone calls or text messages. I paid for a monthly service for it to not have been completed. I filed a dispute with my credit card company and should it be denied, I'll be taking them to small claims court. We hired a new company and come to find out we now have black algae, which we didn't have before. They have left us far worse than we were before. read more

I started service with the company late into the month and they still expected a full month of payment. I had to complain for them to realize it and give me a discount the next month. They were ok for a couple of months, then my fiancé started noticing that all they did was dump a gallon of bleach into the pool and leave. Then, I kept asking them to let me know when they were on their way to make sure that I could open the door for them, but I was basically told "we don't do that." And one day they claim they came there was no answer, even though I was home the entire day. The following week, they showed up and sat in their truck for like 20 mins before bothering to come to the door and my fiancé watched them just sit there. They must've noticed him watching them because that's when they finally bothered to come in. In the end, they still owed me two weeks of service, but they wouldn't communicate with me. I called and texted several times after this incident and I was simply ignored every time. Long story short: don't hire them. Don't get me wrong, at the beginning this company was reliable and the cost for our pool was only $100 a month for weekly services, we've been using clear water svs for a year now. The pool techs always came on Monday in the beginning and our pool looked fine, we used them all winter and are now stopping services. The first week of June no pool tech came out on Monday which was a holiday so I didn't expect one anyways and then I reach out on Thursday June 3rd asking if a tech will be coming out, no response, text again Friday June 4th and Corey says a tech was out at our house Tuesday, I was home all day Tuesday and outside with our dogs, no pool tech came which is what I told him and again no response. Then our back yard gate was blow in by the wind so I reach out to Corey to tel him we need to put services on hold this month because we won't know when the gate will be fixed and I asked for a refund which he responded "yes" to on June 7th, fast forward to Sunday June 13th we fix our gate so I reach out again and let him know it was fixed sooner than we thought and ask to restart services, no response (by this time our pool hasn't been cleaned for three weeks - 1 week being our fault because of the gate) so with still no response by Tuesday June 15th I start looking for new pool techs and again ask for my refund, AGAIN no response. Today June 18th I reached out again to ask for a refund and let him know what happened to our pool, he sent my refund finally and offered no apology for his/his techs mistakes, you'd think a company would have more respect for customers. We've found a new pool tech and he came out for the first time on Wednesday June 17th and our pool is completely messed up due to clear waters tech's not adding chemicals properly so we now have to drain our pool and do an acid wash on it. I asked our new pool tech if these issues could have happened over the three weeks we didn't have service so I wasn't wrongfully blaming this company and this was his response- "He most definitely was not adding and adjusting the chemicals properly. Yes the chlorine the pH in the alkalinity can get that off within 3 weeks especially with the high heat. But with everything else being off, its more over a long period of time" I honestly think the pool techs that get hired don't know what they are doing since they are all so young. A few weeks ago we had suspicions they weren't cleaning the pool correctly so we asked Corey to have his techs blow out the skimmer on one of their visits to get get the water moving more, we then got cameras for our back yard and watched the recording of them coming over. There was two techs, one skimmed the pool, the other sat against the house and when the skimming was done the one sitting up again the house snapped a photo and they left. They didn't check the pools chemicals or add chemicals and they didn't blow out the skimmer like we asked. That right there should have made us cancel services but we were with clear water for a while and Corey was super nice in the beginning so we stayed and now it's going to cost ALOT to fix the mistakes this company made... I just wonder how long we were swimming in a pool with the chemicals completely messed up. read more

The only reason I am giving 2 stars is cause they showed up once a week. BUT didn't do crap. I had the worst algae bloom this year due to the fact there were no chemicals in the pool when I tested them. Yea they send pics before and after but the guy takes a pic of still water then splashes around a bit then takes a wavy pool pic so you can't see to the bottom and calls it clean. Other half works from home and times them when they entered and left. Sorry but 5 minutes doesn't even brush the pool let alone check pump and chemicals. I emailed the owner several times for no one to correct anything. So I have cut ties and gone elsewhere. read more

I had them on auto payment and they Cashed a check for a month of services they never provided. I tried reaching out and they ignored me. I guess I should have believed the reviews... I paid for my first month and was told my day would be mondays between 9:30 and 10:30. WE have 2 small dogs so have to arrange to have them put up when they come. I totally get that they might be a little bit off on time, but they never showed up at all the first monday. I contacted the owner.. (Not sure of his name) HE apologized and said there was a scheduling error and they would be there the next day. They did show up.. Following week. I get home from work in the afternoon monday to find they have not come. I message him and they show up shortly after, around 3 pm. I have a system that measures the levels on my chemicals, and when I got a very high reading for Chlorine, I contact him, and he says there is no way that is correct, and we discover that they put the chlorine tablets in my skimmer instead of the in deck chlorinator. It is only about 12" away.I would think they would be able to figure that out being a pool service company, but again.. I took the tablets out of the skimmer and put them where they belonged. Gave them the benefit of the doubt , as we were working out the kinks ... Week 3... No show .. no response.. I have tried calling. You cant leave a message. I text.. No response.. I message on yelp.. No response. I have paid for a month of service and have only received 2 weeks, and they will not respond as to why. (Thursday July 27 2023) I have been contemplating writing this review. I unfortunately started services with out reading the reviews, communication to get my business started out great but once they had it they fell flat. The first appointment was supposed to be Saturday April 26th at 7am. A little early but I was okay with it. I wait and I wait and no one is showing up I try to reach out and call multiple times to no response. I finally look online and see the reviews that should have been the cautionary tail. I finally reviewed a response at 9am saying that he had an emergency. And someone would be out soon. Greg (who is no longer employed by the company) arrived at my house shortly after and I expressed my concerns about the yelp reviews and communication so far. Greg told me that the owner Corey was not good at all with communication and gave me his number to reach out to. He cleaned the pool and it looked amazing. The same was said for the next few weeks. But then eventually it started to be later and later they came or a day to two days after they said they would. They hardly replied to messages regarding any change in schedule. The quality also went down with time. It seemed like the hard to reach places were left untouched. If I were to have this record of poor quality work and attendance at my own job I would be let go from the company. I'll make a helpful suggestion to the owners. Communicate efficiently and if you are overwhelmed with your current client list do not take on new clients. I would strongly suggest if you're not able to take this criticism to close down. (Update with photos, July 30th 2023. The pool is looking disgusting and I will have some work cut out for me. I requested a refund from Corey. He replied saying he would zelle it to me. He also informed me saying he sold the business and sent it in an email. I was not informed of this at all as there was nothing in my inbox and to my knowledge he still owned it on the 27th which was three days ago) (update August 2nd 2023. Terrible business - I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. This company stole $200 for work that was never completed and do not try to fix the issue at all. I used this pool company for 15 months and had no issues until recently. The last 3 months have been terrible. They rarely show up and when they do, they don't use chemicals or brush the pool - skim and go. When I first signed up, the owner Corey promised weekly chemicals, skimming, brushing for the full service monthly service. This is what we had for a while but I noticed Corey and Omar stepped away (the original pool guys) and got Greg (younger guy) so slowly it started to be occasionally chemicals but primarily skimming. I can skim a pool myself but I pay to have the pool fully cared for. Anyways, I continued to pay $100/month and they let my pool turn into an algae pit. We legit had Shreks pond in our backyard and weren't able to use our pool this entire summer. They had excuses left and right about why it was not clean then all the things they would do to fix it - all empty promises. Eventually we were forced to drain the pool in order to deep clean the walls and basically restart. Our pool has been so mistreated that it was no longer responding to normal cleaning efforts- chemicals, shock, scrubbing. We drained the pool and agreed on paying $120 for them to power wash the entire thing. They showed up and "tried" to power wash it but told me it now had to be acid washed for $300. They weren't able to clean the walls - the algae had been sitting on there so long that it had stained our pool. I was upset since there should not be any reason for our pool to get to that stage after paying $100/month for it to be maintained. Honestly it felt like a set up for them to get extra money to clean it and get a nice restart on my own dime. I told them I didn't want to spend $300 on top of the $100 service and having to fill the pool for hundreds in the middle of summer. I was only in that position because of their lack of maintaining the pool. After some deliberation, we agreed on $200 for the acid wash. I paid them cash that day so they could come back 2 days later once they bought all the acid (my mistake). The next day my husband used our own power washing machine and completely cleaned all the gunk off the walls and flooring - awesome, no reason to spend $200 on an unnecessary acid wash. I texted Greg that we ended up doing the work ourselves. He confirmed the refund was necessary with me and would come get his equipment that same week and drop the cash off. He ended up not coming for almost 2 weeks and left the draining equipment in our sewer clean out causing massive issues with our house flooding (the equipment is supposed to be left in 48 hours max), so we took it out ourselves after our bathrooms flooded THREE times. Greg eventually came and picked up their equipment and of course left within minutes before delivering the cash. I had texted him, which he responded he would be sure to deliver it the following week. He no longer responds (both Greg and the owner Corey) and this has been going on since July! My parents also use this company for service. They paid for their monthly service for August and this company hasn't showed up ONE time. They have also texted multiple times wondering what is going on and shocker: no response. They don't respond to anyone and now my parents have to quickly fix their green pool and hire a new company. I had recommended this company multiple times within the last year and now I will make sure not a single person I know uses them. Absolutely terrible business. This should not have even been a problem but it could have easily been fixed. This business legitimately stole money which baffles me. Shocking this company still has customers - I never realized how many awful reviews they acquired recently. Now I'm out funds and they lost 2 more customers. Stay away. read more

TERRIBLE COMPANY!!! Terrible is an understatement!!! Like others before I requested a quote thru yelp and price was decent but you are better off paying more than having to deal with them... They offer contactless payment but the problem with that is they never show up to service the pool without me having to constantly ask when they are coming. They came out for the initial service and then after that it was me constantly having to text and call Corey to see when him or someone from his team would be out to service the pool... The way this company does business was like this: They schedule you in on their route, (we were schedule to get our pool service on Wednesday) no one shows up, called/text Corey no answer, call from my husband phone and he answered said there was a miscommunication with team so he would be at our house Thursday morning before 11am for sure (his words) passed Thursday 11Am no one has shown up, called/text Corey and no response finally get a message around 12:06pm that he is finishing up a pool and will come to ours right after... didn't show up til 5:30ish. Spoke with Corey and he explained there was a miscommunication with his team and he was out of town and this incident won't happen again. My mistake for giving them a second chance! He said his team will be out to service our pool mid afternoon Wednesday (10/07) and that he will come by Thursday (10/08) to follow up on the cleaning. Well Wednesday and Thursday passed and yet no one from his team nor Corey has been out to service our pool. I had sent texts and called him and guess what?! still no response. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! We began service with Clear Water on a monthly basis beginning on June 4. Our pool was only cleaned the first three Mondays out of five for the month and we believe chemicals were not used or not used properly. By week five our pool was totally green. We left a phone message and sent a massage via Yelp on a Sunday when we first noticed a green tinge, but did not heard back. By Tuesday it was completely swamp green.  I had to hire a new company and it took them two months to fix the problems left by Clear Water and cost me an extra $450 to drain and bleach out the pool, not to mention the water bill that I'll have. Like many of the previous reviews have stated, these guys started out super strong. They got our pool from green to blue in no time at all, and were always super communicative. When we decided to move, it was a no brainer to bring them over as well. At our new home, the service started to slip. We noticed that the pool was not getting as clean as it used to be, and that I would need to come out to point out things that needed to be cleaned (algae in the corners and ladder etc.) July rolls around and they completely miss our service prior to the 4th of July, and our pool is a huge mess. I give them a call to see if they are planning on coming out, as we were planning on having a barbeque and thought people may want to swim. no response. Ok, that was weird, but maybe they are just taking a holiday, it happens. Next week rolls around and still no service. Our pool is now starting to turn green. I have now called them over a dozen times, and still not received any response. If you are looking to hire a pool guy LOOK ELSEWHERE. This is a review on customer service and follow through, not their actual work. Unfortunately we were unable to use them. I reached out via yelp requesting a quote, providing the info asked. I received a call from Corey he sounded promising. Asked me to provide contact info via text and that they schedule their service calls that day, Saturday for the week and could come Monday or Tuesday. He said their service fee was $95 I believe to have them come out and assess the pool/issues; after sending my info and property info, I didnt hear back from him or anyone confirming that we are scheduled or a follow up message. I sent a text asking for confirmation on Sunday 11:52a, no response, I called and left a voicemail, asking for confirmation as he is aware we are pressed for time, he texts me back at 8:16p saying unfortunately he is unable to come until Tuesday afternoon.... "I hope that still works for you".... silly me, I asked "what time", as anyone who wanted to slightly be even the tiniest bit professional would know afternoon could mean an extended window.... and surprise surprise, no response. This review is merely on scheduling a service call to do a job, after this didn't work out, we found a different pool company that provided the work we needed in a timely manner. You as a business and the work you provide could be phenomenal, but unfortunately we weren't able to experience that. From a customers point of view, If you're too busy to do a job, communicate that-no harm no foul, but not communicating at all is when you ruin customer service. read more

Omar is the only reason for additional star for returning call or text. After month pool was in worse shape. Had to cancel service, request refund. Have video of pool just being skimmed. No testing water, just dumped some chlorine, and didn't empty baskets. Corey/owner came out to initially oversell service, along with Omar, Corey never responded to concerns (Omar always did). Signed up with them the first week of June, 2020. Cleaned pool for the month of June and did decent job.No one showed up on July 6 and they did not send a bill. Called the office and was told that the maintenance would be here later in the afternoon. No one came. Called again on July 7 and their phone service said that their mail box had not been set up. Sent an email requesting an invoice for July and asked when we could expect service. Received email back stating we are not in the area that they are servicing and would no longer service our pool. Obviously we would not recommend them as our pool was last cleaned on June 24 and it is now July 8 - 2 weeks since last cleaning and now we need to search for a new company. read more
