Furthermore, you are absolutely correct regarding the misleading and dishonest information provided. They claim that the consultation and examinations are complimentary--yet another falsehood. I find myself burdened with a fee of $5800.00 after repeatedly requesting that they refund the money to Lending Club, as I was unable to obtain clearance for the surgery. This place is beyond shady ! I am in my first set of teeth for about a year now waiting on my final set to be completed and I am currently missing half of my top teeth as they broke. Second time in a year they've broke and I have to wait weeks to be seen to have them "fixed" which I mean they just glue them back together. For $80 grand I expect to be seen the day they break and a whole new set of implants so they don't break again a month later. But nope here I am looking ridiculous with missing teeth and a cut up mouth from the sharp pieces of the acrylic. I almost wish I didn't let them pull my whole mouth of teeth for these faulty implants cause now I'm toothless, broke and embarrassed to say the least. For being a "professional" establishment they sure do not care about their patients. Go elsewhere if quality care means anything to you. Do not use these guys to get your teeth done. I spent 56 grand, on a full mouth of teeth. They are beautiful, but it's the maintenance that's the killer. They expect people to come back in each year for a cleaning & checkup, with every 4th visit requiring screw replacements at a cost of $60 per screw. On top of their maintenance visit fee. It started out 4 years ago at $250. For a cleaning ( expensive right?!))... but they canceled on me the 1st cleaning, so by the time I got in another year later it was $305...so I figured i would just wait 2 years for my next one, at that price, my next appointment with them got canceled again, but at least they fit me in shortly after instead of a year going by. To my surprise the cost had skyrocketed to $425.... so in 4 years they have raised their costs by 70%.....70%!!!... that's just ridiculous. When I mentioned that I just can't afford these ridiculous raises & $60 screw prices...I was unceremoniously given my records & discharged from the practice. Which is fine by me!.... In 3 years they will be charging people $1000.00 just to shine teeth.... what a racket... I do have beautiful teeth, but I paid for them. I just don't like outfits that think deserve my hard earned money for 40 minutes worth of work, that's 10 bucks a minute..wow!...even lawyers don't get that much. Or my surgeon! This place is the worst. They let me know from the start they couldn't care less about me as long as I had money in the bank, that was all they wanted. I went to no less than 5 other implant providers in the valley and when I said I'd been to Clear Choice I got that same look....oooohhhh. Very telling. Finally I found Dr. Joe Mehranfar who owns Aria Dental Implant Center in Phoenix AZ at 32nd st and Cactus. The experience there was like night and day. They had a ton of very technically advanced machinery. Its all quite amazing. And everyone there from Dr. Joe on down is lovely always to you. You'll have a ton of appointments because even when they are done, they make sure if it needs to be adjusted or not. When you smile for the first time-after the swelling is gone, you'll literally cry because for the first time you see you-the you that you were at 16! That smile is still amazing!! Now here is the best part...for less than $14k for each bridge you can have this happen! If you pay cash/check you can save a ton of money! They don't string out the wait time either. If you decide to go with it-boom immediately they take you back for some really dentistry high tech stuff! You do NOT just stand there while a Rumba circles your head. My wife had 3 implants put in on Feb 2013. The first set got infected and never healed requiring an immediate replacement. The second set had to be removed within the first couple of years due to infection, and the 3rd implant shaft broke off below the gum line in 9 years. Get Dentures! The team from when I walked in the door for my initial visit to get an idea of the facts that needed to take place started with the front desk of Liz and Chris-coordinate, informative, and knowledgeable in explaining the overall process. I had the Doctor look at my existing mess called teeth and then went to Candis for financing. Candis was excellent. Explained the process and when my wife or I had a question if she could answer it, she would if not Candis got one of the dental professionals to come in and answer the question. We agreed to go forward. Paula then took over the X-ray procedures. Words hardly describe Paula's professionalism, knowledge, and ability to explain what she was doing and why she was doing the procedures Excellent interaction with the patient, and the feeling that she cared and I was not just a new mouth-number. I was financially approved and on 04/25/23 we began the process. The Surgery Team was beyond anything I ever expected. The following made up the Surgical Team-Dr. Butra, Dylan, Debbie, and Jen. A painless experience. Looks kinda poor with no teeth. By the afternoon I was on my way home with minimal pain. Paula had done an excellent workup for my new temp teeth. Post Care Team-Dr. Perkins, Margarita, and Ben. This team was so precise with how the teeth fit they made me crazy with their perfection. My experience here was exactly what I was hoping for. I am 40 years old and had a flipper for years on my lower jaw to replace two missing teeth. About 4 years ago I had to have all my upper teeth pulled due to my severe periodontal disease. I went to the dentist regularly but my bad genetics played a big part in my losing teeth. After I was in an upper denture with a flipper I lost a lot of confidence. I didn't like to smile, eating was difficult, even speaking was sometimes hard. I consulted many different dentists and surgeons and was told I had too much bone loss which made it too complicated to get implants. I was referred to Clear Choice from the AT Stills dental school and I'm so happy I did it. Yes, it's expensive. I didn't have $50k lying around to get the all-on-4 for top and bottom BUT, we took out a loan and made it a priority. My bone loss is only getting worse so if I waited I would have been paying for a bone graft too. I had my surgery on July 16th. I was in a LOT of pain when I got home. I took my medication as they told me to but still had pain almost constantly for about a week and a half. At my 10 day checkup appointment I found out some of the pain was due to a bone fragment poking out and rubbing against my tongue. That finally came free on August 12th and I felt like a new person! Overall it was a bigger surgery than I anticipated but I would definitely do it again. So grateful to Dr Perkins and the entire staff at Clear Choice! I'm just waiting for my bone to heal around the posts and then they will put in my final teeth but these temporary ones are beautiful. My whole family suffers from bad teeth and I inherited the gene. I wore upper and lower flippers for over 20 years and was afraid to eat or smile as the partials would come out of my mouth at the slightest provocation. It was embarrassing. So, six years ago I paid a visit to Clear Choice and to say that I was impressed with the initial consultation is an understatement. I didn't realize there were so many places in my mouth to be x-rayed and studied. That intensive exam was free. I met the entire staff and what awed me was that that all personnel and patients seemed to be, well . . . happy! It felt more like a family reunion than a consultation. Because of the expense and at age 65 I wondered it I would be making a mistake by having a full set of upper and lower implants done. Unfortunately, I didn't have much of a choice as there was not enough bone in my jaw to support dentures. So, I bit the bullet (so to speak). In one day all of my remaining teeth were extracted, posts inserted into my jaw and a full set of teeth were crafted and installed. They really took pains to let me pick my own shade of teeth and asked how young I wanted to look (not kidding). Wish I could tell you that I came out of the operation looking like Robert Redford, but that wouldn't be true. In reality, I looked like an alien from outer space. I wasn't in a lot of pain (amazing), but my entire head was swollen. In a week or so, my face returned to normal and everyone (including me) liked what they saw. I actually had to learn to smile, because for over 20 years I trained myself to not do so. I have never suffered any negative consequences of the teeth, but I did make some foolish mistakes and broke some a couple of times. There is nothing worse than having missing teeth during a holiday. No problem. Clear Choice got me right in for the repairs, which were under warranty. Yes, the procedure was expensive, but Clear Choice offered me a payment plan and I burned the mortgage a couple of years ago. Now the beautiful teeth are all mine, LOL. I would do it again in a heartbeat. I honestly don't even realize (nor does anyone else) that I have false teeth. Everything is as if I grew a new set. My experience has been terrible from a customer service standpoint. I had three extractions two on right side and one on left side. The timing to get the extractions done and setting the post is very quick. The dentists and assistants for that process are fantastic. Unfortunately it is everything else that is sub-standard. They are unable to schedule impression appointments for several months out. I tried to schedule an appointment in July, and the soonest they were able to schedule me was 2 and a half months later. Then once you get the impressions, it is another 5 weeks before they can set the tooth. I was told that the lab was onsight when I decided to go with ClearChoice, and that it would be two weeks between getting the impresson and setting the tooth. Unfortunately, the lab is only when you get full uppers or lowers, individual teeth have to be sent out to be made. Then depending on who you talk to, the lab takes 2 weeks or 4 weeks. Turns out it is 4 weeks minimum. You pay $2000 per tooth extra for the fancy facility, but the customer service post operation is terrible. I thought I would get excellent service since this is all they do. Then when I complained, I was told that there was nothing they could do. Since you pay up front for everything, there is no recourse. Save your money, and go somewhere where they can turn this around more quickly. Since the teeth are not made on sight, no need to wait, other providers probably use the same lab. read more

Clear choice is not a good choice they are definitely taking advantage of senior citizens. They are never at fault and always blaming the patient. Ever since my grandpa got the dental implants he had to go get it repaired 3 times it has not even been a year since he got it done. The first time they all fell out. They tried to charge him for another set which is 16K. The receptionist swears they always say what to bring when they confirmed the appointment. That was not the case. Before they told me when someone the admin called someone said wrong number and hung up the phone. Now that I updated that to my number to confirm appointments. No one has informed me that we had to bring a box to the appointment then they said they had to reschedule him. Yet I have to take another day off of work so that they can repair the implant yet again. Then when my aunt calls in now she says she was rushed off the phone yet another lie. I don't recommend this place at all unless you want to keep paying hundreds of dollars per every visit. Clearly a horrible choice and horrible service. So I went in for a free consultation and was made to feel very welcome and was told during the consultation that they will do everything possible to meet my expectations and wanted to make sure I was happy with my experience with clear choice. I Was asked what my main reason for coming in and I told her that my main concern was one tooth that I had an implant that had failed. That was the only reason for scheduling consultation. After the i scan was complete and reviewing of images the Dr. came in to give me his recommendation. He told me that I needed 3 implants and the cost would be $16,000. Which included two extractions plus bone grafts. I explained to him that I had already paid for an extraction and could get the bone graft cheaper at another location and wanted only the one implant which I explained was in my budget and could afford just one. They refused to do just one implant Which was $5,000. I left feeling like they didn't really listen to me and totally contradicted what they initially told me in the beginning of consultation that they wanted to meet my expectations. Maybe $5,000 wasn't worth there time. I left and told her that I could see that they really didn't want to help me at all and I would give them a bad review. There are many companies that do dental implants so may I suggest you look into them first. My wife had had full implants for about 3 1/2 years now. Very expensive to say the least. But the problem is she has had three teeth break. She has been trying to get in to have them fix this one but they "can't find an opening" for at least two weeks. My wife talked to Sarah who was supposed to call her back yesterday but of course did not so my wife had to call her again this morning. Sarah said it was a crazy day. My problem with Clear Choice is once they get your money they show that they don't really care about you after that. I had my dental implants done in 2011by Clear Choice Phoenix and was told at the time that they would last a long time if not for the rest of my life. Since they were put in I have had 3 teeth break off and the entire appliance break twice.Five breaks in 5 1/2 years! The first 3 times the repair was under warranty however the last two times which occurred at about 5 1/2 years, I had to pay to have the teeth "repaired". The latest break occurred the same day that I had break number 4 repaired... two teeth broken in the same day and Dr. Galindo had the nerve to tell me that 4-6 years is about all they expect the teeth to last... over $26,000 and they only last 4-6 years! Then I was given an estimate to have a "new and improved" appliance put in for another $5000 but that also is only warranted for another 5 years... Why on earth would I trust them again? I then asked why when I paid to have a new appliance made was I being made to pay another fee for a tooth that broke the same day... amazingly Dr. Galindo said they don't make new they just repair to which I said you mean you just glue the tooth back on and he said "well we repair"... $155 and they glue the tooth back on. This was after a dental hygenist assured me that the appliance was new but when I pressed Galindo he reacted by saying no one ever said that, even though he was never in the room to even review the repair. I am usually not one to complain however if you are reading this and are considering implant surgery I urge you to explore other providers before you agree to a contract with Clear Choice. My regular dentist has voiced his concern from early on regarding the quality of the work and the follow-up provided by Dr. Galindo. I believe in the concept and the quality of life provided by implants but I just believe that other Clinics could be both more cost effective and provide a better product, you at least owe yourself the opportunity to discuss treatment with other providers. I was very happy with the work done by ClearChoice Dental of Phoenix. I was not in need of a full mouth replacement of all teeth, so I can't comment on their standard all-on-four treatment. But they did a great job on the six or so teeth they did replace. The crowns are solid, the posts are solid, and my mouth feels much more stable now when I am eating food. Previously I had always had a problem with old crowns and bridges breaking. So it was a good decision for me to go to ClearChoice. The doctors and staff were all nice and helpful too. As you can tell by the other reviews, it can be an expensive process, but they do help you finance. It's probably worth at least talking to them if you have had a lot of trouble with your teeth. read more
