A absolutely wonderful man named Mike set up an appointment with me and came out and inspected my meter which passed with flying colors. He was very friendly and informative. Real nice guy and the cost of his service was very fair. This is something that has to be done yearly and since EBMUD passed the burden to the homeowners I definitely will always call Mike at Diamond Plumbing, he is a person you can trust to do the job right!

The water was coming in at around an inch an hour, and most every plumber I called couldn't get out until the next morning to help. Bryan came over at 10 pm (on a Sunday night no less!) on very short notice, and hooked up his sump pump to get the water out of my basement. Not only that, but because it hadn't quit raining, he left his sump pump for me overnight so that the basement wouldn't just fill back up with water. He must have been exhausted, but he returned the next day with a brand new sump pump to install. And on top of it, his rates were more than fair! Bryan really went above and beyond in my moment of need; I was desperate and stressed and he was so kind. Because of Bryan, the damage was minimal, all my appliances and almost all of my furniture were saved, and the only work I needed done was drywall removal and replacement. I am aware it could have been so much worse and am so grateful for his kindness. Thank you, Bryan!

In this case, our toilet was leaking and they found a crack in a section of the soil pipe. But the quote ($1,200) seemed high. I asked for more details and was told that the job would take 6-8 hours and the materials are expensive. Leaking waste water isn't a good situation so I agreed. The next day the team of two showed up and finished the job in under 90 minutes and demanded full payment. I said I'd talk with Bryan. I inventoried the parts used and priced them at a local supply store: $75. When I asked Bryan to reduce the price since the estimate was so inaccurate, he refused, said I'd agreed to the work, and accused me of taking advantage of their trust. When I pointed out that I trusted them to give an accurate estimate and that I just wanted to pay fairly for what the job actually required, he got angry. Needless to say, I won't be calling them again.

I reached out to several plumbers for estimates, thinking I needed to completely replace the valve for our tub/shower knob. Bill was the only one that pointed out that I could easily order a new knob to fix the problem myself, if I wanted to. He didn't charge me for this brief assessment, even though it meant that I didn't need to hire him. I appreciate him suggesting low cost options, given that we'll be completely renovating our bathroom in the next year and I just needed something to work until then. He didn't need to do that- I'll definitely be calling him back I do need work done.

I called the company that offered trenchless sewer lateral with the highest rating and over 1,000…read morereviews. They were ready to send someone out to inspect and write a quote until I told him that we lived in San Leandro. Apparently, the City of San Leandro Permit process is not as user friendly as some other cities. I've heard that before from other contractors. Not because the inspectors are rude or demanding but because there's simply not enough of them and that slows down the process of starting and completing jobs. The person that I was talking to on the phone suggested that I called Beyond Plumbing. While their review count is very low, their score is very high. With nothing to lose, I called and left a message. We had a few conversations on the phone, met at the house, talked about the scope of the work. He arranged for another company to come out and clean out the sewer lateral to the sewer so a camera could get an accurate picture of what we were actually dealing with. That done, he offered two quotes. One based on straightforward replacement without complications. One with some trenching in the street if necessary to complete the job. Once we agreed, he called out PGE and others to come mark their underground utilities. This past Tuesday, I received an email with a couple of documents to sign for the city. Once signed and returned, we were scheduled to begin work at 9am on Thursday morning. Signage was placed on the sidewalk to restrict parking on Wednesday. The crew arrived on time Thursday and began their tasks. They came en masse in two vans, a pick-up and two larger trucks, one pulling a medium back-hoe. With two guys working as flaggers, they proceeded to do their thing. In order to maintain our sanity, we checked with them and then left, returning Thursday afternoon around 5:30pm. All the signs were gone. There was a metal plate in the middle of the street. I had received a text around 12:30 telling me they'd be done around midday and the only thing left to do was final inspection. That is dependent on the City Inspector. After inspection, the plate will be removed and the street patched. In the meantime, the connection to the sewer has been completed and we wash clothes, dishes and shower as desired. We are very happy with the service that we've received and the work that's been done. The pricing was fair and within the range that we had expected. Good job! Thank you Marco and crew!

This company is unprofessional! The Bonetti website clearly advertises sewer and root removal…read moreservices. I called their receptionist (Sheri) to request a plumbing tech to call me about clearing a restricted drainage pipe from my home gutter downspouts that leads to the the street gutter. I was told that a 'tech would call me back within a 'few minutes. No one called me back after 22 hours so I contacted them again. Instead of giving me the opportunity to speak to a professional plumber, (gatekeeper non plumber receptionist) Sheri tells me that the only resolution for my clogged drainage piple is for their company to remove and replace the entire 60 feet of underground pipe under my flagstone walkway leading to the street. This is an assessment made by a receptionist without me ever speaking to a plumber.
