DO NOT RENT HERE!!!! I booked here on line using the Uhaul website it was easy and convenient, until it wasn't. First my payment information was not put in properly and I had to go to the physical location to put my unit on auto pay. Then when I was getting ready to move out of the unit, the office was never open. I would call and leave messages which no answer and when I showed up to the facility during regular hours there was always a sign on the door saying they were closed. I finally got a hold of someone and let them know I moved out and my unit was empty and they said that I wouldn't be charged again since I gave proper notice, but I was charged. I tried calling every day for three weeks and could not get anyone on the line. I moved 4 hours away and when I called Uhaul to get help they said they could not do anything and I would have to go to the office for assistance. I had to cancel my debt card and dispute the charges. In doing that I found out that they tried to charge my account for another month. I'm also dealing with them trying to get me to repay them for the money they say I owe for not giving notice. I have been dealing with the aftermath of this facilities crappy business practices for months after moving. Save yourself the headache, moving is hard enough. read more

We reserved a uhaul, got a confirmation email for pickup at 9am. The door is locked. No one is at the building. There is a sign on the window to call a number, we left multiple voicemails at this number with no return phone call. We called uhaul customer service and they also tried to call the number and could not get ahold of anyone. This place is a joke! read more

Bad management and communication skills. When a payment doesn't go through because of an expired debit card you call your customer and get updated information, I wouldn't let it sit on my delinquency for Months. read more

I setup a storage reservation online. When I arrived, they didn't listen and started looking for my reservation in the wrong system (equipment rental) and then finally realized I had said that I reserved a storage unit. Then they couldn't find my reservation in that system even with me showing that I had the email with a confirmation number and everything. After that, they went and setup a new unit reservation and we were off. We opened the unit and it was full of trash. We asked them what we could do as we were not cleaning it out and they said they would come by. A few moments later we are picking up boxes to leave deciding it is best to just get our money back and flee. They come by and say not only is that their last unit, but that they already refunded our money even before we said that too them. When confronted about an abandoned/neglected unit having trash in it they suggested the unit wasn't abandoned or neglected and just hadn't been rented out in a while. We were dumbfounded. Apparently, leaving trash around is just the thing you do to empty units. The storefront looked average, but not dirty. The storage units were quite the mess. Avoid at all costs. They probably don't care too much with being at near full capacity, but they should be avoided if you have a choice. read more

Fraudulently charged my credit cards multiple times before accepting cash. Didn't give me a receipt as they claimed "their computers were down". I believed them as I thought this was likely the reason for the missed attempts at credit card charges. Ended up paying for the same thing four times and having to file reports with my credit cards to get my money back. Called them to resolve the issue and never heard back. Shady read more

I have stored my stuff here for about 3 years. My son had passed away and most of the stuff in my unit was my sons. I had a situation where I had to ask for help from management. I was blown away with the kindness. They helped me in a way I was literally speechless. The management have a huge heart and are amazing people. I would strongly recommend storing your things here. I rented a trailer from Uhaul and booked a storage at this facility when I booked the Uhaul. The online booking had a free month of storage if you booked it with the trailer rental. When I showed up at the facility there was one guy working and he said that he did not have a reservation for me. I showed him the reservation which I had printed out as well as had a confirmation on my cell phone. Then he says ok but looks like you booked this thru Uhaul so we will not honor the online price or the free month of rental. Bottom Line this place not a good business to do business with. read more

If I could give a negative star - I would... I had reserved a U-Haul on-line several weeks in advance along with various other equipment. I had even called and spoke with U-Haul prior to picking everything up just to confirm! Two days before I was scheduled to pick up my truck and equipment someone from Clearwater Storage (where I was supposed to pick everything up) called and re-confirmed my reservation... no problems with that. The problem is when I showed up to pick the truck and everything up - nothing was ready except for (maybe) the truck... either way it took almost 45min for the seemingly inept person working the counter to get everything ready. When they finally brought the truck around the inside of the cab door was full of water, they did not have me inspect the truck, and they did not ask me to verify the fuel... this isn't the first time I've rented a truck and it won't be the last, however, it will be the last time from this location. I would also like to note that the lady working there, I believe her name was Anna, could seriously use a course in customer service. I am paying good money to rent equipment and I have better things to do with my time then explain how someone else's job should be done. I've been in customer relations for the past 9yrs and I have never been treated so poorly. If you are looking for equipment rental I would highly suggest making the drive to the main U-Haul location in Pasco... they know what they're doing. read more

It's been years since I've seen such bad customer service. I'm visiting from another state to help my parents move. They had rented a truck and I went with them to retrieve it. My mother began the transaction and I walked out to take a phone calll. I noticed immediately that the oerson serving my mother seemed to have an attitude. When I returned from my phone call I was surprised to see my father and my mother being harangued by this person simply because they had remaked on his clear annoyance that they would bother him with their business. Knowing that there are many choices to rent trucks I stepped in to cancel the transition and take their business elsewhere. In the short time I witnessed him interacting with my parents I was astonished at how clearly and how often he made it perfectly clear that he did not care at all how they felt they were treated. This service person claimed that they were the owner. I doubt it since I have never known any business owner to be so oblivious to the notion of customer service. The guy that priced a u-haul was really nice and when I inquired on the broken down boxes by the door he said they were free take what you need. Thank you person who dropped off those boxes so that I can use them for packing and moving. :) read more

The clerk was very friendly and worked with me even though I scheduled a drop off for the wrong day. I'm new to town and need a storage unit, as I am moving from a house to an apartment, so will be coming back here for a storage unit. The facilities are nice and clean and the manager lives onsite. read more

Had a bad experience with Clearwater storage was a couple of days late with payment and then they was locked it took 3 weeks to get the lock off of my storage unit after paid would not recommend read more
