The seating area upstairs is fairly big, with lots of seating and Philly art all over the walls. They also bring the cheesesteak to your table. The cheesesteak itself was really good. The meat is definitely higher quality than most, if not all other places in Philly. I had mine with onions and hot peppers, and it was excellent. There was a good amount of meat and it wasn't too heavy on the cheese. Definitely need to get here before the lunch rush if you want to have a fast experience. I got the BBQ cheesesteak without the BBQ sauce, while my girlfriend got the cheesesteak with lots of peppers (I forget the name), then we split the bacon cheese fries and the garlic Parmesan fries. The food was terrific. The place was crazy busy but the line moved quick and they got us our food within about 10 minutes of ordering. Seating is somewhat limited but lots of people were carrying out their food. My cheesesteak was tremendous. It, along with the fries, all tasted very fresh as if the food had just been prepared and cooked. The food was very warm, as if it came right off the grill, and tasted amazing. The bacon cheese fries (I forget the specific name on the menu) were a particular favorite and I would highly recommend them. The place isn't too pricy and for the quantity of food we got it was a great deal-we each brought home leftovers so it really turned into 2 meals for under $40. I was happy they had waffle fries, as they've become my new go-to for delivery. They were good, but not nearly as crispy and well-seasoned as Pastificios. RUDE, RUDE, RUDE!! They need a lesson on customer service!! They instruct you to go upstairs if you are dining in. You have to scan a QR code. We thought they at least brought the food to the table. WRONG!! They call your name and you have to go back downstairs to get the food. Makes ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE! We could have ordered at the counter and avoided ordering the wrong sandwich. Apparently, smart phones don't make mistakes. We went downstairs, not even 2 minutes after ordering, to ask them to hold the bell peppers and onions on one sandwich, and were told by the manager and "boss", Mike and Dominic, that the there was nothing they could do since we order with the QR code that their employee instructed us to order with. Then, they had the nerve to offer a discount if I ordered another sandwich. I politely declined. They claimed the sandwiches were already made as if you can't see the grill from the counter. The food was still being prepped on the grill. I even told him that I did not want a refund for the difference in the cost of the sandwich. Dominic was so demeaning. And it definitely tastes like it. The meat was tender and the cheese practially oozed out of the sandwich. Well, everything sorta oozed out of the sandwich cause it was all packed in there. You can totally customize your cheesesteak (they have these cute note cards and pencils by the front) or get something from their menu. They have a REALLY big variety of things so browse with your cravings in mind so you don't get caught up in all their choices. CONS: The sandwiches are kind of a nightmare to eat. It's unbelievably messy. I mean, with how much they pack into it, it's no surprise but I kid you not, I had a pile of napkins stacked on the table after I finished. They also don't mix some of their sauces together if it doesn't match with how they prepare the sandwich. So I got ketchup and mayo because I LOVE the combination of the two together.
