If I could give zero I would. My boyfriend and I order from this place once a week. The same dinner over an over. Today I called and ordered the same exact thing. Except this time they charged me for extra for soup, got the order wrong and didn't bring garlic rolls. So I call back to let them know, not even expecting anything I just wanted to tell them what happened. The guy who took my order started telling me that I was wrong and was totally rude. He offended me so much I told him if he talked to me like that I won't order from there ever again and he said fine. I work in a restaurant and would never speak to a customer the way he did. Sadly to say we will never order from Clematis Pizza again. And they don't put pasta in the past fagioli. Horrible customer service. read more

After waiting for over one hour for a delivery, I am appalled at the food that was delivered to me. I called them and told them that the food is burnt and that i would like them to send a new order. Owner told me the food was not burnt and refused to pick it up and deliver a new order. No one should have to eat burnt offerings. Be very aware that this place is awful. There are no stars to be given to a place like this and the owner should be ashamed to send out this quality of food to a patron in the neighborhood. There are too many restaurants along Clematis Street that have far superior food than this little dump. My 10 year old and I are on a dad/daughter trip for a couple days. She wanted some pizza so we chose this place because it had nice reviews and was pretty close to our favorite ice cream place. I was in the mood for an entree so I was happy to see this pizza place had a full Italian restaurant menu. Her pizza was excellent. We had leftovers for breakfast today. This has been my go to pizza place for the past four years. Their pizza is legitimately the closest you can find to the NY/NJ area in WPB. Very good pie. Generous-sized slices. Great prices (fresh tomato and basil = $4.00). Simple, accommodating, fast service, no attitude. Not really sure where Caren ate but I have been coming here since March and I have never had a bad meal. Their pizza is the best since we left our favorite joint in Cleveland 10yrs ago. Clematis Pizza is freaking fantastic pizza. My husband and I had appetizers and drinks at another restaurant and ended the night at Clematis Pizza for dinner. Read the other reviews and decided to try. Our office ordered and the pizza was delivered in under 30 minutes. We had the meat lovers and added mushrooms. YUMMY! Also the garlic rolls are to die for (could have just eaten those but was told I had to share)! We will definitely be ordering from this establishment again. Clematis Pizza is our go-to pizza fix! Boris and staff are always friendly and make us feel welcome. We usually get a pizza (Italian sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms) and an order of penne a la vodka and there are plenty of leftovers to last us a couple of days. My wife says the penne a la vodka is better than any she ever had when she lived in NYC and we both agree the pizza is in our top 3 favorite pies. The shop my not be fancy or crowded but it is clean and if you eat in you'll see a lot of foot traffic come in to pick up orders or a slice on the go. read more

The office I work at orders from Clematis Pizza at least once or twice every two weeks. I have worked at a restaurant as a second job for at least 10 years so I know sometimes we all have bad days. Last week, we ordered something different than our usual lunch. We ordered large Gorgonzola salad $9.00, pizza 12.50 , and an Italian sub $7.50 . I personally ordered the Italian sub. It looked thrown together. A child could of made it better. The Italian sub on the menu states that it comes with three different types of meat ham, salami, and capicola. The ham and capicola had nice slices of meat however the salami was cut into huge chunks. I would say that there may of been three of these huge chunks on my sandwich. The large Gorgonzola salad came with no dressing. My coworker couldn't eat her salad without salad dressing. We called back and stated what happened. Josh really helped us he stated, " He will make up for it next time we ordered." Today, we called back to order. He was going to give us a credit of $10.00 which covers only the Italian sub and salad dressing. The salad was thrown away because she couldn't eat it. We asked if the credit should be more because of the salad that she couldn't eat. The manager was very NASTY. It is truly embarrassing for a restaurant to handle this situation that way. The manager finally in a fit of rage, " FINE, give them the full credit." We continued ordering our food. The WHOLE time we ordered we could hear that manager yelling and carrying on about the situation. VERY NASTY. Also, when we apologized to the person that was taking the order for the inconvenience, she responded with, "whatever." Both of you should be ashamed of yourselves. Josh, you were very nice. We ordered and had this delivered to our hotel. It was speedy. The pizza was very good. The wings were ok if you like dry rub. The menu indicated sauces but there wasn't sauce, just some hot sauce put on after cooking. That is fine if you like them that way. I was very disappointed with the antipasto salad. I was looking for big chunks of meat and cheese with cured olives and some kind of dressing. What I got was a huge bed of lettuce, some cucumbers, and rolled meat with sliced cheese and no dressing? I don't get it. It tasted ok but without the dressing and black canned olives instead of cured, I didn't like it. The prices were acceptable. read more

Called in for a pick up . When we got there , the Jamaican manager (I think) and the others were arguing about a missing pizza that must have been delivered to another person. The Jamaican guy was very upset , so obviously we walked in and had bad timing because it was chaotic and weird . I'm thinking who cares it's a pizza that costs then 3 dollars to make , get over it . So, we wait for out pizza , it comes out and it's the wrong toppings . We spoke to a lady on the phone . The guy who helped us said we ordered roasted peppers when we order roasted garlic. The lady looks at the order and it states roasted garlic . So, the Jamaican man apologized , and made us a new one. He didn't offer us a drink (glass of wine) or any type of compensation for HIS mess up. He should of offered us something, but nothing other than us waiting another 15 minutes for a pie they screwed up on. He stated he hated mistakes... well don't make them . I live right next door, and this was embarrassing because my friends came in from out of town . I also paid like 4 bucks for a premium topping of roasted garlic . I counted like 12 small pieces of garlic , not even from a bulb. They were like the size of a half of tic tac. Just a weird experience, and I won't come again. They are completely unorganized it seems, with incompetent people running and working the place . It may have been a bad day, but they could have handled it better . All he had to do was offer me and my friends a couple drinks for the inconvenience, but it seemed the employees were scared of the Jamaican and that he runs the ship. I would have even been happy taking the messed up pie and feeding it to the homeless people. Instead , he put the pizza out for sale for slices . Came up on the new bright line Train from Fort Lauderdale for fun....Walked from train station to pizzarea for lunch to kill time before next train departed back to ft laud....this place only had one table with customers inside & 0 customers outside.....we purchased 2 slices and took them outside and sat down to eat real quick, not even 2 min at this table we were already half way thru our meal probably another 2 min we would've been out of there....except a server came outside and says we can't sit there that the tables were reserved for dine in guests only.....again there were not any people outside and barely and Inside....we said ok and were caught off guard....as we walked away she says "maybe if you had tipped me I would've let you sit there"...... how about if you didn't have such a horrible attitude and checked on us and we're more polite I would've felt obligated to as I'm in the service industry myself and know better....unfortunately now I tipped you $0! You lost a customer.....& next week when I Ride the train for fun with a bunch of friends and Co workers I will go out of my way to make sure none of them will spend a dime there and we shall eat else where....I went back inside establishment and was going to cause a scene....instead I quietly asked for the manager and let him know he needs to check his staffs attitude! I work in a office close by and get delivery often due to a short break. I would say the Pizza is great. The house special pizza is amazing but after our experience today I'm sad to say this will be the last time we will be ordering. Any business that is rude to a paying customer doesn't deserve their business. We had a bad experience on our previous order. 1-We got delivered a salad without a dressing so the person who ordered it was not able to eat it. In addition the menus description of the salad said mix greens- only got iceberg. 2- Italian Sub was throne together with chunks of salami. So tough to eat. We called on it and was told they would make a new sub and bring some salad dressing over but unfortunately lunch time was over. We would not have the time to eat our lunch by the time they came back. They were nice to say they would take care of us the next time we ordered. Today we decided to take that offer but we were told that they would credit the salad dressing and the sub = $10. Just the salad was $9.00. I explained that and the managers response "Fine give them the whole credit ". He was so upset that we expected to get credit for the salad that we couldn't eat without salad dressing. I was handed to another person to take the order. While I was trying to give the order all I could hear is this manager arguing and complaining about our call. Very unprofessional! I didn't ask for the $44 we spent that day just what I thought was fair. So Mr. Nasty not only have you lost the $16.50 we got credited today but you lost the $30 we spend on average weekly. read more

This place is not sanitary. I went in to order pizza Saturday night (Jan 20th) and watched the guy handling cash and then immediately after he was handling toppings and peoples pizza. This man didn't wash his hands and wasn't wearing gloves. When I called him out about it he told me some excuse which isn't at all true and his response was whatever do you want it or not. This employee needs Servesafe training and I was rather appalled by his response. read more
