I drove down from the northern burbs of Chicago to buy a truck. The finance guy attempted to charge me the wrong, higher, interest rate. After signing the paper work that stated the truck had 9 miles on it I come to find out it has 225 miles. The sales guy assures me I would get a call, no dice. I had a horrible experience the other day. My spouse and I went here with an appointment, with money in hand, to buy a car. No one greeted us, and the secretary was on the phone laughing for the entire 25 minutes we were there. Not one sales person spoke to us with three of them walking around. We called the person with whom we made an appointed, waited 15 minutes, and no one spoke to us. We were ready to buy a car that day. Now we will not go back or recommend this facility. I've came In recently and got the one of the first appointments. I came in for dash lights that were going off. They had the vehicle for approximately 8 hours. They supposedly can't diagnose or simply read the the expensive computer they have within an 8 hour period. Which costs almost $200 just to read and give you a diagnosis additionally read more

I don't know how this dealership ever accomplishes a thing. The most incompetent deceitful dealership I've ever come across. In short I wait a year and a half for my Ford Maverick to finally be built and delivered. Ford says they delivered the vehicle on January 10th and the dealership will contact me. After several days I go to the dealership and the sales guy says it wasn't there. He would check on it and get back to me. Several days ago by I hear nothing. I call Ford customer service. They state absolutely the truck is at the dealer. It pings at the dealer and they signed for it. On the 24th the dealership finally admits signing for the vehicle but still claims they have no idea where it is. Obvious lie. Head of sales lies to me about not knowing anything about it. Ford suggests I call the general manager. No call back to this day. They say the next day it's been located in a rail yard in KC. But Ford says it pinged in at their dealership and it's been signed for. So another lie. Finally get a text a month after they sign for delivery. When I come it to buy the finance department says they won't honor the financing terms agreed to when I put the money down. Head of sales Lynn Downey at the time promised. Horrible dealership. Horrible customer service. Stay away if you're ordering. They will not live up to the terms they promise. They have deceitful practices. Obviously I do not recommend. I am going to contact the Missouri AG and BBB about this dealership. I suggest anyone else with problems do the same. read more

If i could give zero stars i would. We purchased a new 2021 Ford eco sport 2 years ago. We purchased the extended car warranty for almost 6,000.00 and the gap insurance. My check engine light has been on since may and anytime i get gas it takes forever to start again. The extended car warranty is supposed to cover a rental and repair but since the warranty department supposedly doesn't have a loaner available and there are no fords at enterprise I can't get my car fixed. My husband and i both work and have a grandson we take care of. We can not be without a car. This is the dealership we dealt with. I have spoke to a couple of their employees with promises to hear from management and nothing. I want my 6,000 dollars back and i will get a loaner and have the issue fixed. Ford is in breach of contract and i am sick of the little man getting screwed over by companies like ford. read more

Made an appointment to have the heating/cooling controls installed for the 2nd row seats, since Ford did not have chips to install the controls when the 2022 Ford Explorer was produced. When we traveled to the appointment (a 30-minute drive) they stated that they did not have the parts to complete the work. Very unprofessional service. read more

I made an appointment to have my oil changed for Saturday April 20, 2024, I dropped my car off at 9 AM and gave them my phone number to call when it was done. The service guy told me since I was so early it should be done quickly because there were only 6 ahead of me. So at 2:23 Pm I called the service department three times, I got hung up on twice and the third time I did talk to the service department, he said the tech is just getting it up on the rack, I told him I had an appointment at 9:30, why is it just now getting upon the r ack, he said when we drop it off their is no hurry, which is bull crap. I told him to call when it's done. The service department call me and left a message at 3:45 PM and said the car is ready and we close at 4, come get it. I called 9 times between 3:45 and 3 ;56. No answer. We drove out there and the sales department was still open. I went in the gentleman at the counter was very polite and said he would talk to the manager, this guy came down I explained what the situation was he said he wanted going to do anything it wasn't his problem, I said I can leave a deposit until Monday and I have an extra key , he said no he wasn't going to help me at all, if I tried to leave with the car he would call the police, I said I have the money to pay for and I need it for work on Monday, he said not my problem. I called him an a hole and left. This company doesn't care anything about their customers, I have had nothing but problems with them since we purchased the truck. These people rude and don't care about any of there customer. Now I have to miss work because of these people so who is going to pay for that. read more

Was in the process of purchasing a used card. Worked with a local company to check out the vehicle and complete a PPI. Which dealer agreed to let me do. The PPI was completed on Saturday and told them I was going to review the full report. I got a text this morning that the vehicle sold on Saturday. No heads up. No call. No text. Nothing on Saturday. Absolutely classless. read more

In short, I made an appointment for a set time and when I arrived they didn't have time for me. I drove 45 minutes for this appointment to only find out I had been over booked. Other dealerships also have some better prices and fees. Definitely lost my business. Bad business when your customers aren't first. read more

I made an appointment in service for a recall a month before the date I brought it in. I took off work and brought it in. They didn't have the parts so I drove 24 miles with two cars since I was going to leave it and wasted over an hour of my time and some gas. They could have called and re-scheduled since the parts were not there. Seriously unimpressed! read more

. Please allow me to explain my purchase of my 2019 Ford F-150 Lariat from Clement Ford. On December 31, 2022, I was shopping for a new vehicle and came across Clement Ford for my purchase. I spoke to Salesman Charles and selected the vehicle I wanted to purchase which was advertised for $38,000.00 if you used their finance and traded a vehicle in, otherwise the price was $40,000.00 with a bonus off of $1000.00 for each. I traded my vehicle in (Which I will get too shortly) and signed for this vehicle at the discussed price of $38,000.00. While waiting to meet with the finance department, Charles' co-worker Ed explained "The Clement Way" which I was told includes a $1000.00 paint protection ceramic coating and $1000.00 Waypoint GPS which Ed and Charles stated were both already installed on the vehicle and the cost for both is $2000.00 total bringing my truck price to $40,000.00. I stated I wanted to vehicle, but I did not want the GPS as it is not needed and after testing the paint on the vehicle for Ceramic coating, I did not want that either. Ed and Charles, along with the sales manager on duty at Clement Ford assured me that it is installed and they have to charge me for it because it falls under the "Clement Way" policy they have. Charles stated the Ceramic coating and GPS are completed at the same time. After being their 7 hours, I decided that I would take the vehicle and have a friend test out the ceramic who installs professionally. I signed for the vehicle and left December 31, 2022. Approximately two weeks after purchase, I was driving my 3 year old truck home and an oil cooler anti-freeze line blew under the vehicle. I had it towed to Clement Ford for repair and several other issues it was sold with. While at Clement, I inquired about the GPS which I attempted to set up on my phone as Charles instructed, however, it never worked. Several days later, Shea the service advisor called me about my repair and also stated the reason the GPS was not working, was because it was never installed on the vehicle. I asked how it could never be installed when I was assured it was installed at the same time of the Ceramic Coating. Shea told me via phone that it looks like the coating was also not done. I told her that I did not want the GPS or Ceramic coating, I would instead prefer a refund as I did not want it from the start of the purchase and I was forced into buying due to already being installed which it was not. After several phone calls, the dealer ignored my request and installed the GPS system (Which after 3 weeks, still does not work). After testing out the "Ceramic Coating" it is evident that it is still not done on my vehicle. So I am trying to figure out why I was taken for $2000.00 additional for something I didn't want and was not installed as they stated was the reason I had to purchase? I have been in contact with the GPS Company for 2 weeks now to no avail. They have not figured out the problem and instead just keep the email trend going with they are looking into the matter. To further the matter, As of February 2, 2023, several weeks after purchase I had not received the Title for the vehicle, which caused me to be late on registration by Missouri's law. Again to further the matter, Clement Ford sold my trade in vehicle in record time after trade in, however, As of January 30, 2023, the vehicle loan I had with a credit union had not been paid off and the lean was not released, which was only brought to Clement Fords attention after several phone calls. I have contacted the BBB.Org and now the Missouri Attorney General's Office for investigation into the dealings and selling tactics of this dealership. read more

Ever since Clement took over, this site's customer service has tanked. I have called the service department twice in two days and both instances the phone just rang and rang for 8-10 minutes before anyone picked up. Marshall Ford was way better, they understood their customers way better. I have not tried Pundmann, but had outstanding service at Bommarito Ford. read more

Vehicle was purchased 12/2022. **Disclaimer** As a preamble to this post, the Waypoint GPS package ($999 cost), that I was told was a required add on, is not actually required. I had two witnesses with me at time of sale who corroborated this and want to make all reading this aware. Be sure to review the very fine print at the bottom if they try to advise you of the same at time of purchase. My salesman, Chang, to my knowledge is no longer with the company. Now to start, I learned in February after registering the vehicle that there was still a lien on the title that was unresolved. I was advised by an employee at the dealership that the titling clerk was poorly trained and numerous vehicles were improperly titled. That issue was finally resolved 4/2023. Additionally, the vehicle was sold with what I believe to be a known electrical issue. To their credit, they did fix this concern after multiple calls complaining to the service department and finally a report to the Missouri Attorney General's office. My salesman was unresponsive and multiple messages left with others in sales were never responded to, so I had no choice. I went months dealing with a vehicle that was dying at intersections, and was told it was a low battery. Most recently on 6/2023, I received a letter from the manufacturer (Fiat Chrysler Auto) that my vehicle has an open recall that was issued 6/2022. This recall was issued 6 months before I purchased it. I have had my vehicle into the dealership for service 3 times so far and it has never been addressed. The general manager Mike was initially very responsive and willing to listen after I submitted a complaint with the state, but has since gone quiet when I requested compensation. I amount I requested is fair compensation for my time and trouble, along with a refund of the Waypoint GPS service that I did not want in the first place. Mike, you told me you would be calling back on 6/28/23 with a decision on the compensation I requested. Today is 7/16/23, I am still awaiting your call. read more

Long but worth reading before purchasing! I wish I had done better research before even considering to buy from here, the F rating on the BBB is totally deserved. The sales rep was decently professional, except for a few I was passed on to after purchasing. While buying my new Ford explorer 2022, I was lied to, led on, and spoken down to, and treated so poorly by the finance employee, sales reps and staff. Upon signing, reading through the paper work, the finance employee Mike was extremely impatient, and condescending. at one point said "are you really going to read every paper? If you do that we're going to be here all day" seriously? Not to mention the eye rolling, tapping of his pen and "sign here and get out" attitude is along the same lines of what he actually said to me. I actually was in tears at one point. Meanwhile I have been here over 4-5 separate days because they have no idea what they are doing and are horrible with communication. I was promised tinted windows, black emblems, trim, Electrical hitch, grill, and tires. I was given no due date as the when they would be finished making the wheels, grill and trims black and adding a hitch. Over two weeks later, after having my car for just a few days prior to dropping it off, I was finally ( for the second non-promissory time) told it was ready. The windows weren't even tinted, and trim on the sides and front wernt even done. The hitch was not electric, and the wash they brought it through gave it car wash scratches everywhere. I paid for all these in the deal, and had signatures from them as well. I am exhausted trying to get fair treatment, and the correct services done. ALSO- The loaner cars all smell like cigars, and were dirty. I could go on, but save yourself the time, frustration and if you want to be respected, go somewhere else. Do not go to clement. this location is TRASH, even to other employees and staff in the under the "clement" name, knew the entire process of this was completely unprofessional and apologized for their treatment. Now I'm paying sales tax for a car I've driven maybe a week out of the month, and still isn't what I paid for. I don't trust them, you should not trust them. I am not the type of person to leave a review too often unless something really warrants it wether good or bad, and I feel like my current situation does. I bought a vehicle in March of 2020 I purchased GAP insurance and an extended warranty during finance. I came back to Clement and sold that vehicle in October of 2022. At the time of the sale I filled out all the necessary paperwork to get reimbursed for the remaining balance of my GAP insurance and warranty. It is now April of 2023 and I still haven't received my refund. I have made call after call to Clement and either my voicemails go unreturned or I get the run around. Clement had no issues taking my money, but sure aren't interested in making it easy to give it back. I would caution anyone purchasing a vehicle from them to think twice before adding on GAP insurance or an extended warranty through their finance department. The only reason I gave them 2 stars is because my salesman Carl Gettis was great to work with. He has gone above and beyond for me long after he sold me the vehicle. read more
