Decided to come check out this brewery based upon the historic building and well we wanted to sample some local beers. When we arrived there was some street parking right in front of the beer garden entrance. What a cool atmosphere. Surrounded by old brick walls and a good bar right in the middle of it all. There was also a stage where live bands play on Saturday's! Which was perfect because it was Saturday! Inside of the beer garden there was an open door old warehouse with adult fun games inside, I believe it was called the beer cave. This is only 21+ area. From 3 corn hole sets to a life size jenga, darts and 2 ping pong tables. Very cool area! We went with a group so us girls went inside to find the bathroom and check out their food menu. The ONLY ISSUE we had, well pretty much everyone that was in the brewery, was their bathroom situation. 1 for the ladies and 1 for the men. So there were times the lines were just crazy to stand in. But I do have to say the bathrooms were very neat! The inside bar area and seating was way cool, you could order straight from the bar or sit down and they came to take order. We did both. The 2 bartenders Matt & Scott were complete gentlemen. Scott was extremely knowledgeable on the beer and gave us awesome recommendations on food. Way to rock the crowd guys! We ended up ordering truffle fries, seriously a must have! And our group ordered some different foods and pizzas. All in all fantastic time but disliked the bathroom situation. This place is great! Wife and I ordered flights and kept stealing from each other's! Definitely recommend trying all their beer styles, they weren't what I was expecting in a really good way (sour was sweeter, PB porter actually tasted like PB!) I had the burger with arugula and berry jam and it was fantastic. We also had the truffalo wings which surprisingly did taste of Buffalo and truffle! I definitely can't wait to go back and try more of the menu. The ambiance is really cool too, with all the exposed brick and beer tanks. The service as A+. read more

Also a back, lounge area,(more seating). Food was Deliscious. Highly reccomend Truffle Fries. Great flavor that pears well with beer. Ultimate appetizer at the bar. Highly reccomend finding this Brewery and visiting. Great hangout place to meet up with friends or to meet new friends. This is the Applebees of "craft" breweries. If you are a beer nerd, stay far away. If you are looking for a lively sports bar and enjoy beers like Blue Moon and Goose Island, then ignore this review and give it a try. The beers taste like watery adjuncts. They may throw hops at the IPAs, but they have no body or complexity. Unfortunately this is proof that craft beer does not equal good beer. The burger was decent, but expensive for what it was. The "truffle" fries were overpoweringly covered in artificial truffle oil. Lastly, there was a large sign proclaiming that the tap lines were cleaned 12/18/18 - on February 2nd, 2019. Why are they advertising the fact they don't clean their lines? That's pretty nasty. For better beer but a more casual scene, Equilibrium Brewery just down the street has a small taproom. read more

Tried several varieties of their beer before settling on the least objectionable. This is a typical crafty brewery that goes after esoteric flavors as opposed to good. Would not recommend to anyone who doesn't like IPA's. And that only because that's the only style I didn't try, not that I thought they were good. The meal I had was on the daily lunch special: the Smash Patty, a 1/4 lb burger with Swiss on marble rye. We were up in Middleton over the weekend with some friends for a legoland visit. We were scheduled to head home on Labor Day but needed some grub. We checked Yelp and this place was beeping all over the radar so we gave it a try. Felt horrible tho. 14 of us show up (with kids in tow) the man greeted us and let us know for next time if we can give them a heads up abt a large party. It was a last minute decision but they seated us and were super awesome abt it We tried some of their beers. I'm not an IPA guy but they have a nice selection of non ipa beers. They were super tasty and refreshing. I put down a few and was very content The food was amazing! We all tried a bunch of the menu offerings. The cheese curds were awesome, the wings were awesome, the kid's loved their kid's meals. I had the pork belly BLT. Omg it was sooooo amazing. My friend tried the big bad wolf burger and was in heaven. I cannot get the pork belly blt out of my mind tho. Had I known it was that good I would have gotten one for the road Between the food, the beer, the awesome beer garden, and the super nice people this place is a must visit. What a great find . We found this place on Yelp and figured why not give it a try . Great atmosphere , nice industrial decor . Outdoor seating though it was too hot to sit outside . Waitress was very nice . Food took a while to come out but it was tasty . My boyfriend got a bacon burger and fries he said it was awesome , I got a casear salad with chicken which was tasty. Might sound weird to go to a brewery but don't like beer but they have a good cider. The Beer Garden is the best part of the place (for me at least). It has a backyard homey feel. Wasn't impressed with the cesar salad that I had one time. The truffle fries are phenomenal! Burgers are good too. Over all it's a great place to hang with friends. The place looks great with a really good vibe and our waitress was awesome. Unfortunately, our experience with the food didn't live up to the atmosphere. We were a group of four and started with apps and they were as you would expect from a brewery and we should've just had the appetizers for dinner too. We ordered wings, pirogies and French onion soup. The French onion soup was our least favorite. For dinner we ordered burgers, pizza Bianca and grilled cheese with "tomato soup". One burger was good and at the right temperature, the other was way over cooked. The pizza was lacking flavor, was under cooked and simply didn't have any seasoning, not a fan at all. Our mistake for ordering pizza at a brewery I guess. The grilled cheese was a grilled cheese with tomatoes that were not ripe, but the "tomato soup" was far from a soup. We were convinced there was a mistake and they accidentally gave us tomato sauce. It even had sprigs of oregano on the top. We asked two separate waiters and they both chuckled and said the soup was more like a bisque. We left not fans of the food. As for the beer, it was good though I couldn't find one that I really liked but everyone else at the table did. Overall there are better micro brews in the area and I don't feel this will be one I would return to for now but I believe in trying everything at least twice so I guess we will see. I just recently went to a wedding here for my neohew and his beautiful wife. We all had an amazing time. Ceremony was outside and was set up perfectly. Cocktail hour was good but they did run out of French fries. Chicken wings were very good. Could of used some high top tables and chairs or low ones inside near bar. Outside was set up very nice with tables, chairs and heat lamps. Dinner food was good and tasty. Outside dancing worked out very well. Bartenders were friendly and very good at what they do. Matri 'd, she was very good. She made sure everyone was happy and being well taken care of. She went above and beyond to make the wedding a success. Unfortunately I don't know her name and how she can walk on high heels for thst many hours running back and forth. She did terrific. This is a really great brewery and I'd recommend popping in if you're in the area! It's kind of in the middle of an industrial area so there's plenty of parking. The building itself is huge and looks like some type of historical landmark. Now for the beers, they only had four beers on tap which I kind of liked. I'd rather have 4 great beers, than more that are just mediocre. My boyfriend and I both went with the sampler which included: Blonde ale, IPA, Pale ale, and Brown Stout. Pretty simple but I guarantee you will like at least one of them. Me personally, I thought all 4 were great. The menu was small and consisted of appetizers, burgers, and salad. We split the wings and the imperial burger. The wings were good and the burger was awesome. Our server actually forgot to put our order in and we were waiting awhile, but he was very apologetic about it. I don't mind mistakes, just own up to it and apologize. I really liked the set up of this place and the fact that they utilized their small space very well with a bar top and tables. They also steered away from the common picnic table set up which I don't normally care for. Also, on one end you have the area where they brew the beer, and another a tv. Went here for the first time a few weeks ago. I heard so many great things about this place so I knew I had to check it out. The place had plenty of parking, it was really well designed inside and outside. We sat outside, they had the fire pit going and it was just the perfect weather too! I got the French onion soup and it was definitely homemade. You can just taste the freshness. The only downside was they didn't have any waiters or waitresses. We had to get up, order our drinks, bring them to the table and wait for the buzzer to go off and go pick up our food. It would have been a better experience if we had a waitress. Also, not sure if they have an elevator or not but if you have trouble walking like I do they have stairs that lead to the outside garden area so just be careful. I will definitely go back and hope they're open in the winter and have waitresses because their food was really good. read more

Great place to grab a burger in Middletown. Their burgers are huge! I recommend getting a medium well-done patty because the patty is pretty thick and well-done may be a bit dry. You can also ask for extra sauce for the burgers if you like things saucy. Another recommended item are the wings! Get the siraicha honey wings, they're amazing. This is the second time in a month that I've been here and normally we love the burgers. Earlier this month we had to wait about 45 minutes for our food. The server was very apologetic and did comp us a beverage. The food was awesome. Out most recent visit was not at all favorable. The pretzels and wings were great but some of the food for our table of six, not so much. The food was overdone and my burger was missing an ingredient. My granddaughter had to wait for her food so long that the rest of the table was almost done. There was no visit from the server for beverage refills either. Not great at all. My girlfriend and I were feeling burgers and she recommended this place for us to fulfill our cravings. We went in with no reservation and was greeted by what I thought to be a stranger but ended up being a staff member that made us quite uncomfortable. His demeanor was cheerful and friendly but we were caught off guard and didn't understand his intentions or his small talk. Eventually we were told to sit in the main room right near the kitchen doors and asked if we could get a table instead. They let us have that option and it made the "sit down" experience much more enjoyable. Eventually our waiter came down to take our order and we went for the Clemson Wings for our appetizer. These wings are very solid although I have had better. They hit all the marks properly when it comes to a wing but there was nothing that stood out to me when eating, they were just good. The Clemson bbq sauce itself was a bit more acidic then other sauces I've had but it was a nice flavor with the chicken and I appreciated it being different . After cleaning the bones on those we decided to order our burgers we've been craving and I went for the Big Bad Wolf Burger and my girlfriend went for a goat cheese burger with jam in it. We were a little skeptical on how the flavors would clash being something sweet and savory but we had to try it, but there was a very long wait. It was about 25 - 30 mins after we order was when we got our burgers. Although I dislike long wait times, they redeemed themselves with their flavor. We decided to split our burgers to give a half to each other to get the best of both worlds. I fell in love with the goat cheese jam burger she ordered. The flavor was so unique and delicious when eating. The cheese has the nice tang that the jam counters when eating and the moisture of the burger with the meat together made an awesome bite every time. My burger was much more predictable since it consisted of the patty with different forms of bacon on the top. As for then fries they also fell short for both of us. They had a nice size, crisp and texture but the flavor was boring and did not signify what they were offered as being parmigiana fries or truffle fries iirc. Thankfully we order some bbq sauce on the side to help us finish them but they were not all that memorable or impactful with the dish. Overall it satisfied our burger frenzy and we left feeling happy. We paid our waiter who also was serving as a bartender and was on our way. Wow I LOVED it here. I'm a big fan of checking out the local breweries and this place is one of the best in Orange County. First off the beers were fantastic! Lola was amazing and they had some other really great IPAs. The food was AMAZING. We all got different burgers with truffle fries and wow they were all delish. I had the "shoom" burger which was as an amazing vegetarian friend meal. I wish I found this place sooner because it's super rustic and cute. Food was great and so was staff. Agreed with another person's review that the food was subpar and not worth the price. I ordered the Quatro caliente burger and paid an extra $2 for the ghost pepper cheese. The only amount of spice on the burger was from the jalapeños. If they weren't in the bite, the burger was not spicy at all. No silverware was placed at the seating area. Also noticed that no one wiped down the area after we left, and it was immediately offered to another party. Yuck. The only reason I'm giving it one star is because the beer is decent. read more

Food & Beer: Truffle fries were really good and came with a side of mayo. Would have been better if there were options (garlic mayo, chipotle, etc). I ordered The Short Rib sandwich that had a nice flavor with heat - small cherry peppers - but in the end was a little dry. Wife enjoyed the Apple Walnut Salad. I had the Trinity Test TR1 which was closer to a sour than a New England IPA. Lola's Raspberry Blonde Ale wasn't overpowering in the raspberry taste despite its strong aroma, leaving us wanting another pint. We walked away full but she liked it more than I did. Location & Staff: Beautifully renovated restaurant inside and out with a private, outside beer garden, and secondary building/event space for indoor games. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable of their beer selection. Bathrooms were spacious and clean on a Saturday afternoon. The one downside was the fact that Clemson Bros is on gentrified block on the bad side of Middleton with drug dealers' dealing on one corner, and homeless men on the other. read more

Staff were all very helpful. Food came out in a timley fashion. Will bring the wife next time. Would like to try the beer garden in warmer weather. Bathrooms were clean. I've been here twice now. The first time was on a slow Sunday, now on a busy Saturday night. The initial visit was a 4-5 star experience. Attentive staff, well run kitchen, wait staff that was organized. This trip, however, has been nothing short of 1 star. Walked in around 7pm, two separate 6-tops were available. Both were 2 tables pushed together. The sign said "please seat yourself," so I went ahead and split two of the tables apart into two separate two-tops, and sat down. Manager promptly comes running over to ask how many are in my party. I explain that we're a party of two, and he tells me there are three other groups of two ahead of us waiting, and that the six top tables are reserved for them. I give our name and wait. Fast forward 20 minutes. Another party of two waltzes in, sits down at the six-top, and proceeds to have a waitress come by and take their order, while I'm still waiting for a table. I eventually sit down, ask the waiter if they were one of the ones ahead of us. He says he doesn't know, then never actually asks his manager. Turns out they weren't. Order food around 7:40, 20 minutes later still waiting on apps, but the lemon limeade with vodka is awful - far too bitter. Apps finally came around 8:10. Pierogis were sub par. Two chicken sandwiches for dinner were also unremarkable. If I had to recommend food, I'd go with the burgers. The kitchen actually seems to care about them in much greater detail than the rest of the menu. Just wish the rules applied to everyone here, though. read more

We had a sweet sixteen party for my daughter last night and it was a great time had by all. Everyone said they loved the outdoor space, game room and food! Would definitely recommend hosting an event there! The manager Zachary Jones was so great with communicating with me leading up to the party and afterwards (he wasn't at the Middletown location last night). He helped me with the menu and with ordering the appropriate amount of food for the amount of guests we were expecting (he actually told me to reduce the amount of food to order!). He made accommodations for a special drink request that I wanted served too! Which he definitely didn't have to do. Dan was assigned to help with the party and he did an amazing job! He helped with our balloon garland when we needed it hung up, brought the food and drinks out at the right time, kept up with all of our needs and was a great host! He even offered take home containers so our guests could take home leftovers and he and the staff packed up all our extra food for us (our RSVP number changed last minute) to take home. They cut our cake and offered to distribute pieces amongst the guests. The beer garden is a nice area for a party if you want space to roam, the game room is right next to the beer garden, and you get your own side of the bar. The buffet table was set up across the other side of space from the bar and was nice and long- the table was not cramped with stuff and helped keep the flow of people going down the line. The bathrooms are right on the other side of the wall where the buffet is laid out- there are three full private unisex stalls. It's a nicely maintained bathroom, and great that it was so close to the party area. No one needed to go inside if they didn't want to. The beer garden also has direct access to the parking lot so people could come/go without having to walk through the diners inside. My daughter was very happy with her semi-casual party and we couldn't have asked for a better place! read more

I like this place. I have been here before. It's in what looks like a bit of a run down area but it's safe. The people are friendly and the food is good. They have a small menu which consists mostly of different types of burgers. They are all 8 ounces and they are good. The beer is okay. Quite frankly the food was better IMHO. I felt that way three years ago and I feel that way now. It's definitely worth checking out, especially if you want a burger. read more

The beers were all over $8/pint and two crowlers cost us almost $35! Easily the most expensive brewery we've been to this year and we've been to 30 so far in PA, WV, NJ, NY, MA, NH and VT. Today I came in after 1pm with 2 friends and had a the cod sandwich. I asked for no bun- tartar sauce on the side. The fried cod was very overcooked but the fries were perfect. I rarely complain about any food and never send food back. I took the leftover fish ( almost all of it ) home to perhaps add something to it to make it better but it was beyond repair.
