You'll find these obnoxious reviews from angry people throwing a tantrum, but they're just the ones who refuse to follow the rules or think the rules don't apply to them. I've seen these people being very rude and yelling at the staff when the staff are just doing their job. The rules are right on the wall and people like to think they don't exist. Jennifer has been nothing but nice to me and my family all summer. The rest of the staff has been great as well! Matthew and Dakota are two lifeguards that we see often and they always nice and friendly as well. Alex in the office is always friendly and will even lend out goggles for kids who want to borrow some for the day. The entire staff here are so friendly and get treated so poorly by people who feel entitled to everything. Note: I asked why the slide is closed and I was told that they're so short staff. It's probably because people no longer want to work here because people treat them so badly. Keep treating these people poorly and soon you won't have a pool to come to.

My daughter was very disappointed as we had gotten ready and drove down here just to be turned away. She didnt want to go inside by herself either. Would suggest the facility to update their policies online to prevent other patrons being turned away as well. There were also parents in the deck area sitting in chairs they brought from home who were wearing normal clothes. Staff said they were there for kids with swim lessons. However if they are going to enforce a rule, it needs to be across the board.

I called repeatedly and finally found out that they were booked the day before (and was told I should have called or emailed???) was told to call on specific day for next round of swim classes and I called but it went to voicemail all day and finally at 3pm got ahold of someone who said I needed at call at 9am and actually show up...I wish I knew that the first time. Finally got my kid to be in a swim class and even though I had just had surgery and not allowed in the water...I wasn't allowed to be there because I didn't bring a bathing suit. Tell me beforehand all these thing. Either over the phone or in the email. I'll finish swim lessons because my child needs swim lessons but never again. Highly DO NOT recommend

And on my first visit of the season, yesterday, I learned that they became a year-round pool this past year. If attendance increases, they may be a year round pool again this year, so please come out and support the pool. For those over 50 years old, you can buy a pass good for 30 entries for only $25! Ingrid, the manager, has made sure all the clocks work, and that the soap dispensers work in the outdoor showers. These are small things, but they make a difference to your experience there. Hours are 12 to 8 Tuesday through Friday, and 1-5 Saturday and Sunday. It's never been very crowded when I'm there. Come on out, and let's help them build attendance so they can stay open all year this year!

I will forever compare every gym I go to, to this one. And none of them will measure up. I will…read moremiss it so much once I graduate. This place is CLEAN and has amazing equipment. Staff enforces mask wearing and wipes are available to wipe down your equipment. AND PEOPLE ACTUALLY DO IT!!? What?! Everyone re-racks the weights and plates properly, and there are plenty of squat racks and benches. They have a track to run on as well as a HIIT area on the upper floors. There is also an area to do abs and stretching. They offer private pilates, Zumba, and yoga classes. Not to mention that they have an incredible rock climbing wall. This place is luxurious and spacious, and I'm not mad about probably ~50% of my tuition going to its maintenance and upkeep. Only thing that bothers me about the SRC is that they have such limited hours around the holidays. For example, this past weekend following Thanksgiving, they were only open from 10-2 pm. They are also closed from Dec 25- Jan 1, which I guess is understandable. But then again they are closed the week before the spring semester starts. It makes me feel like if I wanted to work out during those times, I need to purchase a separate gym membership somewhere else (which I do not want to do). Also, keep in mind that if you want to rock climb, you have to come at certain times as well, when the rock climbing staff are there. They really need to bring back the guest passes! Especially if that guest was an alumnus. And if they are going to charge $180 a semester for alumni gym membership, maybe make it worth it by not randomly closing down a couple weeks before the semester starts.

When we switched from Group to Private lessons, our son improved leaps and bounds every single week. She is fun and smart and helpful, and she should be the benchmark that ALL teachers strive for. Cons: * The Group lessons don't really teach much beyond water comfortability. Instead of helping each child improve individually, the teachers just go through the motions in a systematic pattern each class. * The school shows little to no interest in caring about a child advancing; the school only seems to care that our check clears. We spent 1.5 years at the same Group level without ever advancing because the teachers weren't encouraged to push our child. See the note above re: going Private with Coach Ella. * The front desk staff is horribly unhelpful and very poorly trained. We've experienced multiple issues with bookings, billing, and scheduling when interacting with them. There should also be a "no cell phone" policy because half the time we need to speak with someone, the front desk staff members are texting / using their cell phones. * The showers and changing rooms are dirty and gross by the time we need to use them at 5:45 pm. Maybe instead of allowing 2-3 front desk staff to play on their cell phones all shift, there should be a rotation of light cleaning every 30/60 minutes. A little bit of care would go a long ways.

I've been a member for about 3 months and it's been such an incredible experience so far. Sivan was super helpful and helped me sign up. Her and along with everyone else I've encountered with have been nothing but wonderful. I did my assessment and complimentary personal training session with Jenn. She has such an extensive knowledge about wellness especially when it comes to women's health. She gave me some pointers about rebuilding my pelvic floor strength and put together a plan for me. I've also attended a few mat pilates and spin classes, which were great. Last month, I had a facial in their spa which was relaxing and exactly what I needed after not having a facial for almost a year. On a few occasions, I've brought my son with me and had him stay in the Kids Club. Emme and the others are so sweet and welcoming. Overall my experience at Equinox Woodland Hills has been really wonderful - from the welcoming staff, clean facility, variety of classes, to the positive vibes. Now as a working mom, I don't have as much time to go as often but I'm hoping to keep up with my work out routine.
