When you open the hood you can literally see the oil all over the engine bay and no oil in the car. When you put oil in it pours out. I explained this to the owner over the phone and he disagreed. He said that he has a 30 year airforce veteran mechanic that looked at it. The owner continued to say that he would be willing to put more time into the issue if we paid $500+ to replace the radiator. "Time is money" He continued to say. I explained that the vehicle was towed there so I would have to get it towed out if we did not fix the oil issue. I went to the garage to get the car towed out and brought him out to look at it. There was oil everywhere. It became obvious to me that know one had looked at my grandmothers car there. I said "I will just bring my grandmothers vehicle to a shop that will look at it" The owner responded by saying "Good we don't want your business here anyways time is money" Avoid this place at all costs.

We took it to another garage & left it for work. Garage owner said that it appeared to not have had any parts replaced. His cost for fixing it was 239 dollars and you get a receipt and documentation of work performed. A very expensive lesson for me.

The owner was very helpful the next morning when I called, explained to me exactly what he was going to do, and got the work done in under 3 hours. My wheel barring had gone bad and had to be completely replaced. He sourced the part, had it delivered to the shop and the entire cost came out to only $275 (part = $140ish, labor = $70ish/hour). He allowed me to take my car to the ATM to get out cash for payment, and gave me a detailed full page receipt that included a 12 month warranty on the part and the work that was done. As a 20 something up in NY without my family, the owner made a difficult process as easy and stress free as possible. Would highly recommend for quick, quality service!

It got to the point I had to turn to the Attorney General for help. They reviewed my notes and determined it was a valid claim. They forwarded my notes to the DMV Albany main office. They too agreed my claim was valid but needed an outside opinion. So I went Camelot Auto Repairs in E. Rochester. I met and spoke with Doug the owner. Doug listened to my problem, went out with me and looked my car over. He detected a problem and prepared his professional opinion for the DMV. I sent his written opinion to the DMV office and they accepted it. The DMV in turn assigned a regional inspector who did get my problem straightened out. I was very pleased with Doug and his help for me. It was a very stressful thing dealing with this. 5 stars for Camelot Auto Repairs. On a final note, the time I spent with Doug, I must say his shop is very well organized and it appears he has good technicians working for him

I brought it in the following week per the scheduled appt and met with a guy there (long beard) who briefly looked it over, he told me it wouldn't be a diagnosable issue since the head unit is aftermarket, but he suggested it might be the adaptor that supplies power from the amp to the head unit. So we agreed to try a new adapter and see if that fixes the issue (loud pop comes from speakers and the stereo reboots). He took down my information and said he'd call me back the next week (which is now last week). I could tell he wasn't enthused about doing this job, but he wrote down my info on a post it note and said he had to order the part and it should be there in a week. Well I didn't hear anything back. I made an appt with them to replace the coolant and do a transmission service on my Mustang GT. So I brought it in last Friday. The guy at the counter didn't have any pricing info so I had to wait about a half hour before he told me the transmission service was going to be $760 (said it's because they can't flush it and would need to pull the pan and motorcraft fluid is expensive, which you aren't supposed to flush this transmission anyway). It was $280 to replace the coolant. $760 is nuts, so I said just do the coolant. While I was there I asked the guy hey what's the status of that part, I was supposed to get a call this week and never did. So he brought the long beard guy back in and he acted like he didn't take down my info before and didn't know anything about it. So I have called this place and made two trips there, all for a $280 coolant change on my car. They totally blew me off on my wife's car. Look, if you don't want to do the work, just tell me and don't waste my time and I'll go elsewhere. On my Mustang, maybe be better prepared with pricing information so I don't get slammed with a $760 price to replace probably 7 quarts of fluid and a transmission filter in my car. Absolutely ridiculous. This place is a total joke. From the moment I walked in, I got a vibe from them that they wanted nothing to do with me. Why? No idea. I guess they hate making money or didn't like how I looked, who knows.
