They were supposed to do fillings and didn't both times I came here for that. The office manager is a joke and was more concerned about why I went to a different dentist to get emergency root canal that your dentist said, needed a filling. I was in pain and the tooth was bleeding and they couldn't care less. The front desk staff is unprofessional and the receptionist sand you're finished with your appointment who closed you out is a joke and laughable. I do not recommend this crap dental office. I immediately changed dental offices. If you want to be misdiagnosed, given appointments for work they won't do just to waste you time have at it. I would rate this place -1000/10

At my first appointment on September 22, 2025, the hygienist only cleaned half of my teeth in about 30 minutes and told me to come back later in the week to finish. Then the office claimed that this second visit would count as my "second cleaning." So basically, they tried to count one cleaning split into two sessions as the two cleanings I paid for. That's like paying for two burritos and being given one burrito cut in half -- it's absurd. This whole situation was incredibly stressful, frustrating, and felt like a complete scam. It honestly ruined my week trying to sort it out. Their own brochure clearly states "two professional cleanings," yet I only got half of one. The experience left me feeling deceived and taken advantage of, and I would strongly warn others to stay away or double-check everything before paying.

When I arrived, staff addressed me by name and confirmed the cost and what was included in the introductory special. The dentist who conducted the examination was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. She explained to me what needed to be done and reviewed my x-rays pointing out the specific areas of concern. She stated her findings would be relayed to staff who would then review the costs with me. After a short time, I was presented with the cost breakdown of each procedure including covered/not covered items and my out-of-pocket cost. I was pleased with the entire experience including my interaction with staff. If there are any issues with my future appointments, I will update my review.

Special shout-out to my son's dental assistant today (I'm sorry I didn't get her name) but she was AMAZING, as always. All 3 of them were great, but I think his particularly did a wonderful job calming my son. My son is typically very squirmy and uncooperative (super difficult 3 year old!), but I told her he must like her because he was so comfortable around her! He took his first x-rays today and I was pleasantly surprised he followed her directions without crying, screaming or kicking once, for both the x-ray and the cleaning/checkup. This is seriously a huge win, he doesn't even cooperate like this at home We've been coming her since my youngest daughter was 1, and the amount of friendliness here can't be compared. Covid hasn't stopped the quality of their care. My eldest daughter also uses their orthodontic services and is happy with her braces. It's been about a year and her teeth never looked better! One of those is Dr. Hashimoto's office. I've been here a handful of times this new year for jaw issues that he's been working on with me. One of the reasons why I will always suggest Dr. Hashimoto is because of how methodical he is in explaining what he's doing. He walks you through every procedure no matter how big or small. The hygienists here are always lovely, as well as Valerie and Lisa! Lisa is a new face to me at least, but a welcome addition. One example I'll give is a recent one. I have jaw locking that's due from stress/potential clenching at night. I came in for a visit in which Dr. Hashimoto worked my jaws a bit and I ended up having my jaw lock as he was working on my mouth. His concern was so apparent, it was like an automatic switch. He made sure my mouth wasn't opening to wide, he had Alley put a little gauze in my mouth to keep my mouth open without having me attempt to do so myself. I'm one of those patients, no matter how uncomfortable I say I'm okay because I know I can get through it. This jaw locking was probably my first experience with pain in the seat. It was reassuring to feel his genuine concern in that moment. Sometimes you read horror stories about doctors who act in an unprofessional manner and disregard the comfort of their patients. You won't experience that here. Dr. Hashimoto is witty and engaging. His staff becomes a part of your life in a way. You ask about their kids, ask about the holidays, you exchange stories. It's reassuring and comforting. If you're on the hunt in Sacramento, look no further. I moved down to LA almost three years ago and I still refuse to go anywhere else.
