Outstanding HVAC company. My AC had been leaking Freon since the end of summer, 2016. I had already had another company out who added more Freon and suggested looking into a new unit. My system was 25 years old and I knew it was just a matter of time before the heat or Air went out completely. I called 3 different companies for quotes and Tom from Climate Control Services LLC in Elgin was the first to call within 30 minutes of my request. Tom was able to come out the same evening and reviewed our needs. He was very professional and knowledgeable and helped us understand the different systems and how they worked. After spending over an hour with us answering various questions and determining our needs, he measured the rooms and even windows to ensure we had the right size AC (3 1/2 ton unit) and furnace. He even emailed us a proposal before the end of the night. We were so impressed by his professionalism and knowledge of the system that we canceled our other quotes. We were able to negotiate a great price and went with the high efficiency system. His crew was out the following Wed at 8:00am and did an outstanding job. Dan and Greg were very professional and careful when removing they old system and installing the new one. They estimated it would take them 8 hours to complete the work and were done in 7. I cant speak highly enough about the great job they did. Tom was on site before the guys were done and took the time to review the new thermostat and all its features with me until I was comfortable with it. We cant believe the difference in the cooling of the house, rather than having to keep the temperature set for70, we are now able to keep it at 75 and feel much more comfortable. Now the house is cooled evenly, the upstairs rooms are now the same temperature as the downstairs area. When the Village inspector came out to review the work, he commented on what a nice job the installers did. The duct work was neat and well sealed. He said he didn't see a lot of jobs done as well as this was. Again, Climate Control Services from Elgin is the company to use. The folks at Climate Control Services continue to impress with their top notch service and dependability. They came out to perform a furnace clean and check and ended up discovering an issue with the humidifier (motor was out). The technician (Nate) was nice enough to take the time to review the issue with me and made sure I understood the next steps. Shortly thereafter, I received a call from Tom who again walked me through the issue and explained my options. It's not everyday you have an expense like a new humidifier to worry about, but Tom and team took all those worries away. Their product knowledge and recommendations tailored to fit my budget put my mind at ease. I knew I was in good hands. The truly amazing part was how fast and helpful they were about scheduling the next visit. Within a day, they were back out to install the new humidifier, they didn't miss a beat. A few years back we decided it was time to replace out heating and a air conditioning systems. We had a unique problem, being on a slab our underground vents were rusted through and filled with water in the spring thaw. Tom was great at designing a system to move the vents to the attic and ceilings. Do to room issues we had to swap out our water heater tank to a tankless. Climate Control was the only company to have a working solution for the whole project. His price was right in the middle of the quotes we received, however he quoted better quality materials and and brand of equipment. It took 2-3 guys a full week to complete the project but I could not be more happy. I would highly recommend them for any project you have big or small. We had a small issue with the new water heater and they came out right away and took care of it the service after the job was excellent as well. read more

Mr. Wyse in my opinion is an outstanding individual . No pressure sales. First and foremost he took the time to explain and educate my self on the different options available to me. Mr. Wyse then took the time to do a complete and thorough evaluation of my home so he could properly size the unit and find the unit that best fit my needs. (most contractors did not do this) When his men came to install my new unit I was further impressed by their professionalism ,knowledge, and skill. Customer service was top of the list. I called these guys after being referred by my Brother in Law. It was January 2nd, and my furnace had blown it's last breath. It was also negative 15 outside. They came over that afternoon, quoted the replacement of my furnace, and we worked out a deal to get the AC done at the same time- upgrading the original system after 17 years is the right thing to do. They got everything and installed the next day, and it is working perfectly. Great Customer Service. Came out to fix furnace and AC, laid out all the pros and cons of replacing ($1000 repair, $5500 replacement) and did not try to sway me in either direction.
