We used Climate Partners for a new furnace installation. Shortly after installation, the furnace would randomly stop working. It was December, so it was freezing out. They sent technician after technician out and no one was able to identify and fix the problem. After about 2 months and over 10 service visits later with no resolution, it was finally fixed but by the manufacturer's technician. They are terrible! Will never use them again! read more

Climate Partners cancelled my scheduled appointment for routine maintenance on my AC, although I made it a week and half before and took time off work. One unit broke down while waiting for this appointment but they did not care. They tried to push me off another week. They are not reliable and obviously do not care about meeting obligations to customers. Perhaps they do not have enough resources. Either way, look for someone else. read more

I would have originally given them a 4 star rating based on the first service callwhich was prompt and the technician pleasant. BUT, I not only paid over $300 for a repair which wasn't a repair,I was dumb enough to buy a service contract. when I tried to book a return visit today to address the nonrepair( the first day it was hot enough to need air conditioning since the supposed repair was done I......1) Was told there was likely no one available 2)I would have to pay for another service call and 3) I spoke to someone who didn't know what she was doing( a new hire without supervision)4) I called back about 1 1/2 hours after the first call ( the first woman never called back as she said she would do) and was given a window of 3-7pm.5) At 7 pm I called to get an ETA and had the misfortune of getting the trainee( the only person in the office) who said"it's only 7 o'clock, I'm sure they will come" when I asked for a time she said she would check and get back to me in 15 min. 15 minutes went by and no call. I called at 724 and she said I was the next call.6) At 803 I called again and now the dispatcher has no record that I was to get service. He said he would get back to me in 10 minutes, it's now been 20 minutes....... and now there is no record of my multiple calls to get a follow up service call. This night dispatch person says someone will be here about 920 pm, I guess we will see. NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY, they take your money, don't do the repair and then don't come back. They say if I email the service manager he will call me to.discuss this cluster, but given the comedy of errors, I doubt very much I will hear from anyone at all. My next step will be to contact the better business bureau as well as my charge card company, because why would I want a service contract with a company which doesn't provide service??? read more

Buyer beware! Do your homework!! We called Climate Partners LLC for a routine maintenance service visit and the technician put a huge hole in the condenser coil rendering the unit inoperable. Initially Climate Partners lied and refused to take any ownership of the damage. Climate Partners claimed there was a year-old leak in the coil that spontaneously and coincidentally ruptured while the technician was servicing the unit (no joke!). Was this intentional?? This $100 service call will end up costing me well over $11k. From the technician to the owner of the company, Climate Partners is a disgrace and should be avoided at all costs. Our complaints with all the gory details have been submitted to Ripoff Report, the BBB and the CT Department of Consumer Protection. Note, if we did our homework before hiring Climate Partners, we would have learned about other complaints submitted to these agencies by other customers. Climate Partner's "club membership" where they charge your credit card $95 on a monthly basis is a scam.

I was lied to by their technician which resulted in me spending $500 to have working ac for 16 hours. The salesman Rob who came out was extremely rude, didn't explain/ test anything. Rob was in/out 8 minutes and quoted me $9k-12k for american standard products. I had a 2nd company come out whos salesman was friendly, asked several questions took his time explaining everything. I was quoted 4,000 cheaper for top of the line Lennox products. The service manager was nasty as well via the phone. read more

I used Climate partners to install a new furnace and AC unit in my home. I made the switch from oil to propane. Originally I contacted Climate Partners to have insulation blown into my uninsulated attic. When I mentioned to Alfonso the insulation tech that I was interested in learning about my options for the furnace, I was contacted immediately by Brian Casey. He was at my home the next day to quote the job. I ended up deciding on a switch to a 2 stage propane furnace and a 16 SEAR AC unit. I was impressed with Brian's knowledge of the product, as well as his ability to help me understand the benefits of propane versus an oil-based system. I felt the price for the insulation and the HVAC equipment was very fair, and signed up for an install the same week. Brian and Climate Partners also facilitated the leasing of the propane tanks, as well as getting me set up with an automatic fill plan. I would recommend Climate Partners to anyone looking for any HVAC or insulation work. At the very least, you should consider having Climate Partners offer you a competing quote for any work you have already had quoted. Their prices were surprisingly affordable, especially given the scope of work I had done in my house. An easy 5/5 read more

I helped my mother to replace her furnace. We received a lot of outrageously high bids. Climate Partners came in with a reasonable bid plus they did the work in a timely, professional manner. We will be contacting Climate Partners for future repairs and home improvement projects. read more

The customer service provided by this organization is atrocious. I have been a customer for over five years but have only needed them for routine maintenance and the such. Several months ago an issue arose which required more attentive and thoughtful intervention. After a series of unreturned phone calls, nonexistent follow up and general poor service I contacted another service organization and received immediate and complete satisfaction. Stay away from these dishonest people. They don't care about their customers. They installed a HVAC system and it doesn't work and they do not accept the responsibility. CP technicians don't know what they are doing. They don't care about their customers. I called and emailed them many times but they never get back to you after taking your money. I should have checked their Better Business Bureau ratings as they have 18 complaints filed. They also overcharged my credit card and I am going to file a lawsuit. read more

Bought the system in Jan 2017, at installation they turned the pilot light for the hot water heater off, after they were told to be careful. 24 hrs later; temp was 5F no heat due to the hot water heater being turned off and no one knew how to relight the pilot light. Needless to say the temp in the house dropped and we could not reach anybody at Climate Partners for another 12 hrs. The person who came had no idea what to do. As we had a new air-handler and A/C installed Climate Partners promised they would come back in May to service the A/C system and change the filter in the in the polarized-media electronic air cleaner. In May I called they told me somebody will come and check everything over and change the pad. Here comes this May - for the live of me I can not get the polarized-media electronic air cleaner out to change the pad. Several phone calls, emails some even insulting my intelligence later a tech was sent out. Seeing that I wanted to know what I did wrong I meet him at the house. Well he could not get the unit to move either, After prying it out with a screwdriver, he told me the unit was installed upside down and the slider was not made correctly. I looked in the box of media pads and noticed that the replacement never happened last May, might it be that they could not get the unit out and just walked away? I went away and received an email the next day that it was corrected. I went back to the house to check. The left the used pad on the porch, they had to walk past a garbage bin to get to their truck? By now I have read the manual and when I checked the power indicator light was not on, remember we are at email #20, phone call number and service call number 3. The response from Mr Casey was that his technician said "the light" was on and he believed his technician. So I send a photo of the light that was not on. Here is his response; Unfortunately, for the foreseeable future I have to be in the office handling things and I am not able to determine when I can go out in the field. When is the best time to send the Service Specialist to meet you onsite and get to the bottom of this with you & them there together? Having other companies before try to diagnose our cooling system issues, do all kinds of testing and charge us a fortune, we realized we needed someone else to take a look .Climate Partners came, found the issue and repaired it for reasonable fee. They never pushed to buy or replace any parts other than give suggestions for the future of possible problems. Tony our tech was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, & professional. He took the time to actually show me everything he was doing and what he was going to do so I felt very confident in the service. Climate Partners did an energy audit for us through the CL&P subsidized program. Their technicians (Alonzo and Brendan) did a very thorough and effective job of assessing our home's energy efficiency and implementing a number of improvements including finding and sealing cracks to prevent air penetration, replacing incandescent bulbs with CFLs, installing weatherstripping and sealing ductwork joints. They used high-tech equipment to take measurements for before and after readings. The technicians were knowledgeable, friendly, neat and respectful of both the house and our family. As a subsidized deal, the CL&P program is a tremendous value that cannot be beat. We were very lucky to have Casey's Climate Partners as the assigned contractor through the program and would highly recommend them to any homeowner. read more

Casey Climate Partners is one of the worst in the HVAC Business. They installed a full system for me and I'm still battling all the issues with them after a year and a half. They failed to get permits, failed to fill out paper work properly, failed in installing properly, don't return phone calls, don't honor contracts. Do faulty workmanship. We called this company for annual furnace servicing maintenance. While setting up the appointment, customer service personnel stated the annual servicing and maintenance includes 14-point inspection. On the day of appointment, a guy by the name Anthony called multiple times and asked if he could come early since he was done at his previous job. We told him that we have set up this appointment after 4pm because no one will be at home before then. He showed up around 4:30 pm and started looking at the furnace. For most of the time he was just advertising his services and various service plans and talking non-stop about offers/prices on duct cleaning or leakage at duct. He was done within half and hour and when we compared with advertised list, he had performed less than 6-points in the checklist. He left the blower dirty which was supposed to be cleaned. He did not even have the filters which is most basic thing any service maintenance would include. We emailed the company next day. A guy by the name of Alex Lopez who happened to be service manager at climate partners emailed back. He promised to call us and setup another appointment to address concerns. The guy never called. We sent an email to remind him and he just ignored. Beware of this company!! They just try to lure to sign up for 3-year 5-year maintenance contracts by finding issues with your furnace and AC units. They will not even do the basic checks which are recommended by any furnace maintenance company. They are only looking to introduce their services so in case you ever have an issue, they get your business. Stay away from this company!! read more

The worst I've ever encountered. I told them I needed to have some sheet metal fabricated to stop the loss of hot air. They sent out a technician that barely had any knowledge of anything and couldn't have been more than 20 years old. I talked circles around him. They charged me nearly $400 just to have this kid come tell me what I already knew and told them. "Don't worry, it will be applied to your bill if you decide to do the work." Well, guess what happened? I got quotes and consistently they were the highest by about...you guessed it, $400. The entire job was $250 with some others and with them it was $700. I never agreed to a diagnostic fee. I told them what the issue was. I was under the impression that they were coming to do the work. Customer service gave me the run around. I got promise after promise and they never delivered. I addressed the discrepancy in prices and they tried to give me the "you get what you pay for" spiel. They lied to me. They are not to be trusted. read more

Climate Partners installed central air system in my home April 2016. I chose them over 5 other contractors because of the competitive price for a good quality HVAC system, plus the knowledge and information that the rep, Brian, provided in helping me make an informed decision. Other estimates were unsure about the electrical requirements and wiring. Upon installation, there were some issues that came up, such as large holes in the attic floor (to run up thermostat wiring) were not covered and a supply duct snaked around a stud towards center of room - when I requested that all ducts run along perimeter of room because we intended to finish the attic. There was initial reluctance to return to correct the issues but because the owners (Tom and even Mom :) periodically sends emails and postcards to check at every step of the process then it only took 1 email to them and they immediately responded and staff came to correct, even if i had to take on the removal of the stud. I have not used the a/c yet as it has not gotten warm enough yet. I am hoping that the service will continue to be good if I run into issues when we start using the a/c. read more
