    Clint Lukens Realty has been a LIFE SAVER. After moving to LA several years ago without any idea where I wanted to live, the CLR team was extremely helpful in showing me different options until I found the perfect fit--special shout-out to Cristal who was extremely patient and extra attentive. I will be forever grateful to the CLR team!!! Office is also easy to find, friendly receptionist, and in good area.

    DO NOT rent at any Clint Lukens properties. We were staying at their Edgecliffe property and had an extremely abusive neighbor who stole my mail and threw it out, came to our door pounding and screaming in our face calling us f*ggots, and continually acted as if she owned the building simply because she was a "long term resident." This "long term resident" had two demon dogs that she would let thrash and scream and bark with her front door open whenever anyone walked by--and everyone had to walk by her door because she lived next to the stairs. She would let her dogs cry and scream for hours starting from 6am. And Edgecliffe's building walls/floors are paperthin so *everyone* could hear these dogs. Polite requests to either keep her dogs restrained or otherwise occupied began this campaign of intimidation. Ariana from management ignored Clint Lukens' legal liability and responsibility to address tenant violence and discrimination (homophobia). Every single one of our emails and complaints went unanswered about this tenant as we continued to fear for our safety. Our registered mail demanding action went undelivered. Was it cowardice or because they were friends with this "long term resident"? Probably both, I guess we'll never know because we were forced to move during the middle of a pandemic because of this psycho resident and negligent property management company. I have receipts on everything I've said above and could provide them. Edit: They also ignored us when we continually reported that our toilet was basically coming out from the floor because it became unsecured. Email after email, no response. We finally had to track down the owner of the property and tell her to her face that Clint Lukens was NEGLIGENT in their management duties and finally they sent repairmen. When the guys showed up, they said "Wow this toilet has been leaking into the foundation for months. The wood is all rotted and we have to replace it all." Not only was this extremely hazardous for us (the whole bathroom could've collapsed and we weren't on the first floor) but it's actively damaging the property owner's property! Wonderful management from CL. PS. They also have a clause in their rental contract saying they'll penalize you $750, then **$3500** for writing a negative review about them online! I wonder why, sounds like they have extensive experience with this dynamic?

    Neglectful and unresponsive property management. I've been living in a Clint Lukens managed property for almost a year and am very dissatisfied with their service. The parking spot assigned to us is in a dark alleyway behind the house and so several months ago we asked that they install lights and a camera for security purposes. Instead, they put up a "Smile you're on camera" sign with no actual camera. Lo and behold, last month my car was broken into and the catalytic converter was stolen. The damages totaled over $1500 and i was lucky to still have my car. After the incident, i asked that Clint Lukens install bright motion sensor flood lights and a camera. It took them 3 weeks to do anything and ended up installing the weakest lights imaginable that surely wont prevent the next break in. See attached photo. This is just one example of CL's neglectfulness. I would advise other renters to avoid working with this property manager / realtor.

    I've been renting from Clint Lukens Reality for about a year now in the much desired area of Silver Lake. Like many would expect, you pay for the beautiful skies, great neighbors and locations. I really didn't look into too much of the location when I first rented but in general haven't had many issues in all the places i've rented from the OC area to the LA area. I'm pretty easy going about it. When I first moved into the house, I made note of a few things which Eric and Cristal were very prompt on addressing for me. The apartment was clean, renovated and the neighbors were exactly what I expected which was a pleasant surprise from the last place I stayed out in Silver Lake. When I first moved in, my roommate actually locked himself out where we had to call Cristal to have it opened for us. She was really good about it and its not exactly how we wanted to start the first week of our stay here. haha Overall, great experience and would recommend them. I'm currently looking to move out and buy a place finally where I'm working with Daisy on it right now. It's been a great experience from the renting side to the home buying side which is exactly why I would recommend Clint Lukens Realty. O'l Silverlake, how I love thee!

    CL says after I moved out the county health inspector visited my apt. and didn't find cockroaches. But I keep getting messages like this.

We were able to purchase a great condo in the hear of LA for a fantastic price. David referred us to their finance company that was able to get us a loan with no taxes. Which was fantastic as it's very hard to qualify for a loan with the current prices in LA. The transaction was fast and smooth we are very happy to have moved into this condo. They showed us a list of properties in our price range and in our location. The properties were exactly to our specification. What is even better, David the main broker was able to sell our property within the time we needed to sell it in order to move into the new property and use the funds from the sale to purchase the new one. They were able to structure the deal in such a way that would benefit us. We highly recommend using them!

    Short Story: David…read moreGazarov's property management services is like a parasite that'll bleed you dry. He offers different programs that are supposed to cover the property management obligations but then bills every action separately with numbers he pulled out of his @$$. The entire time I paid for his services, I never saw the full monthly rental income because he would deduct more than half of it with made-up fees before charging me to send me what was left over. Long Story: I hired David as my property manager at his $49 monthly plan. What he did not explain is that the management fee only covers collection. Any other item is chargeable at whatever fee he deems fair. He charges to open emails/texts, to respond to messages, to communicate messages to the tenants, to speak with the HOA, to forward mail, to file any reports, to process the Financials, to send the rental income over, and the list goes on. I had his service for 4 months, which should've been $12,760 gross rental income. However, I only received $4,865.26. That means he charged $7,894.74 in random fees that should be part of his duties as a property manager. On top of all the fees, he penalizes you for wanting to terminate early. For instance, you can't get out of your contract without paying off the remainder of the contract plus more fees. David requested that I pay $897.80 just to get out of my contract. I told him I was only willing to pay the remaining contract amount for the year $392. He agreed to those terms only to go back on them, claiming I still owed him more money. He then took it out of my reserve funds return and said, "Not worry about the rest." As if he was doing me a favor for not charging me on services I never approved of. All in all, I would avoid David's property management services like the plague because he will bleed you dry and feel entitled for more.
